Name: Aria Ly Seaborne
Age: Seventeen
Gender: Female
Trainer Type: Pokémon Trainer
Hometown: Lilycove City, Hoenn
Appearance: Aria Seaborne
Personality:
History:
Aria Ly Seaborne was born to Eva and Tidus Seaborne and is one of three children, sandwiched between her older brother, Banks and her youngest sister, Mari. Her childhood was loud and busy, growing up in eastern Hoenn right by the sea. Lilycove City always had trainers coming through, which delighted the children - giving them opportunities to hear stories about different cities, different regions and to meet different types of Pokémon. For as long as Aria can remember, she would sit with Banks, and then later Mari, at the contest hall with treats to watch Pokémon competitions. Or run to the harbor to watch the S.S Tidal start her voyage to Slateport City.
Aria’s father, Tidus, was in academia, and was often traveling to different regions and visiting museums to aid in his research. Her mother stayed home until Mari was able to fend for herself and began working in Lilycove Museum as art curator. Aria’s life was carefree and sheltered, and she wanted for nothing. With four years between the three children, it wasn’t always love and rainbows. Eventually, Banks went off with his friends and did what boys did, and Aria eventually went to Rustboro City to school. On her visits home, she would play with Mari on the beach, chased Pokémon in the waters and taught her all the things she had learned about Pokémon.
In her early teenage years, Aria started tagging along with her brother on his adventures whenever she could (which at eighteen, he did not appreciate having her around), visiting nearby cities for a weekend and watching him train his Pokémon, much to the dismay of her father who wanted Ari to eventually get into art like her mother. She didn’t have Banks drive to ‘face every challenge that was out there’ but she was fascinated with Pokémon in general, their origins, their abilities and power. She started yearning to travel and explore, wanting to become a trainer herself, 'jokingly' teasing her brother about being better than him. When her father was home, she would beg for him to take her on his projects, but he always had an excuse – she was too young, it was too dangerous, she wouldn’t understand the project and get bored, Mari couldn’t be left alone - not that any of it applied to Banks. She knew her father was very protective of his daughters, but it was beginning to feel all too restrictive. Aria mother often tried to sooth the waves, but she never went against her husband, so if Eva had a different opinion about what she wanted for her daughters, Aria never knew.
On her sixteen birthday, she heard not a peep from Banks for several weeks - which was strange as he always checked in around her birthday since he started travelling. A few more months have gone by before her parents started to get really worried for their eldest. Tidus began looking for him while on his own work travels, and Eva checked in with her contacts. The last place he was reportedly seen was in Johto, at Ecruteak City. Fathers colleagues hinted that Bank and his friends were getting up to mischief, seen talking members of Team Rocket.
Seeing this as an opportunity to venture out on her own and start her own Pokémon training (with the hopes of it helping with any future research she may get into) and of course, finding out what the hell happened to her brother, Aria left a note for her parents, cowardly with the promise of checking in as often as she can and took off.

Age: Seventeen

Appearance: Aria Seaborne
Aria stands at a whopping 5'5", with a lithe figure and soft curves. Good manners taught her to walk with her shoulders back, and chin high, exude confidence, even if she doesn't always feel that way. She has relatively pale skin that is easily sunburnt (hence her obsession with everything SPF ), with a scatter of freckles over the bridge of her nose. Ari inherited her mother's dark hair that, when not tied up in a rough high ponytail, usually hangs in loose waves down her back. She has bangs that are cut straight across her forehead, below her brows, with face framing pieces to soften her features. From her father, she inherited her most distinguishing feature - a pair of violet-coloured eyes, curious and always observing.
Aria loves her jewelry; she is always switching up her bracelets and rings when she is able to. Her earlobes are adorned with a set of silver hoops and a star shaped stud on one ear, and a moon shaped stud on the other. She is often seen clad in her school uniform - typical white dress shirt, with a black skirt and blue necktie. She alternates between white and black calf-length socks with school dress shoes. Otherwise, you can find Aria in comfortable, casual clothing. Big sweaters with tights and the like. Now that she has been travelling she's often ditching her school shoes for more comfortable sneakers. Aria carries a black school backpack, stuffed with daily essentials.
Personality:
Aria is a polite and an overall happy girl who is described as being sensible, emotive, and friendly. She has an abundance of respect for Pokémon, and will go out of her way to ensure they are not being mistreated by anyone if she can help it. She has a tendency to get distracted from conversations, often lost in her thoughts and appearing bored, but it’s completely unintentional. She has a positive demeanor (mostly) and rarely seems to harbor negative emotions. Contrary to her well-behaved mannerisms, she can become compulsively nosy when intrigued; becoming overzealous and having a tendency to ignore personal space. She's a curious girl by nature, going so far as to follow certain Pokémon to see what they do all day. (Do NOT follow Weedles)
She can be very persistent and stubborn - very stubborn— when she makes up her mind, that’s that. Her hardheadedness can get her into trouble from time to time (as it has in the past). Growing up with siblings, Aria can get quite competitive. It originally stemmed from wanting to show her father, she can do whatever her brother Banks could do. While her fathers protectiveness drove Aria insane, she was never one for throwing tantrums. Her mother taught her patience, and how to be even tempered. Aria can become very focused on a particular subject, to a point of forgetting anything else not associated with it. She can be selfish, putting her needs and wants, before others and at times it doesn’t even faze her. The one thing she places above her ambitions are Pokémon.
