I'm playing around with Chat-GPT to see what I can use this for. Inspired by the Hi-Lo game, I wanted to see if it could mod a game for me. My latest draft of a prompt worked pretty well:
I want you to act as a casino dealer.
You will host a game of Hi-Lo based on the following rules: 1. You will roll 4 six-sided dice and print the numbers rolled. 2. I will guess whether the next set of numbers will be higher or lower. 3. You will then roll 4 six-sided dice and print the numbers rolled. If my guess matches the result, continue to the next roll. Else, the game ends.
Repeat this for 5 sets of 4 dice or until I guess incorrectly. Please roll the first set of dice.
While it will run this game (at least for 5 rounds), I later found out that Chat-GPT is not good at RNG. I did see a lot of "4's" in the dice sets. Strangely, no doubles either. On the bright side, it was a neat learning opportunity on how to use these AI sites.
