Syar shielded her eyes from the sun with her cupped hand, peering around Route 29 with trepidation. This was it. Her official first steps into her Pokemon Journey. She had gotten Ignis the Charmander from Professor Elm, and agreed to try and fill the pokedex with entries from the pokemon she captured. She had five pokeballs and a great ball, as well as a few healing items to get her started. Syar was a bit nervous to leave New Bark Town, if she was completely honest with herself. She looked down at Ignis' pokeball, and tightened her fist around it, before pressing the button in the middle, letting out the enthusiastic fire type.
Ignis burst from the ball with a loud roar: "Chaaaaarrr!" He looked around, as if expecting a battle. When no pokemon burst towards him in attack, he looked up at Syar questioningly.
"I just wanted to see if you would like to walk with me?" Syar asked, feeling a bit awkward. She knew trainers got close to their pokemon in this manner, and while she wasn't opposed to a bond forming between her and Ignis, she knew she wasn't the most... emotionally forward trainer out there.
Ignis cocked his head to the side, thinking, before nodding his head. "Chaaarrr," he spoke simply, holding out a hand as if for Syar to shake it. Did pokemon know about hand-shaking? Apparently this one did. Syar took the tiny claws in her larger hand and shook Ignis' hand gently.
"Come on, let's see what kind of mischief we can get up to, Ignis," Syar said cheerfully, and began walking along Route 29, Ignis following closely behind her.

It was a clear day and a day many would really enjoy if they were to clear skies, a sun which began to emit a bit of warmth, a few early blooming flowers and a light green veil on the trees of leaves which had begun to peek out. It was a subtle change, that spring was just around the corner but not quite there, and with the knowledge that it could still be snowing again tomorrow. Syar was not the only one out to see what the day could bring, birds flew by and a rustle in the bushes would reveal that several pokemon were rummaging about. Nothing came out to face them though, and if they tried to look through the bushes the pokemon would be long gone, knowing very well what a trainer and a pokemon traveling together would mean to them. Soon the trees gave away to the left leaving a nice little grass fields with lots of small flowers spread around, and at the edge a man stood with a wearable easel and paint, trying to capture the beauty in front of him. It was not easy though. "No! Please leave!" He half begged, a hint of fear in his voice as he tried to shoo a pidgey away with his brush. It flapped closer and he ducked his head to protect it and scrambled away, the bird followed curiuously and then tried to land on his shoulder. "AAH! No! Get away!" The man practically screamed as he flinched and ran away from it flailing his arms. The pidgey flinched in surprise and then looked after him in confusion, a few heartbeats went by and then it soared after him. It still wanted to see what he was doing. The painter spotted Syar, "Please help me! It keeps attack me!" He gasped and whimpered fear fully then the shadow of the bird fell upon him again. A painter is disturbed by a Pidgey [Lv 5]. Do you want to intervene? Weather will be Clear Skies (clear).Shiny: cWWgV3GUp_1-421-42
