It was time to return, people was gathering near the entrance and it looked like they were already beginning to evaluate some of the bugs which were caught. Not that Aglaia expected to win anything with the weird one they had run into, it wasn't like some of the more rare ones which she obviously also rarely had found, and she didn't need anymore of those. Hadn't Lei asked her to participate in her place and catch some of the pokemon Lei was looking for, Aglaia wouldn't have bothered. She didn't like to catch a lot of pokemon just to sell them, one thing was to do it when the situation required it from her, or someone wished the pokemon like Lei, but otherwise she saw no reason to catch a lot of pokemon just to catch them, and especially not just to win a prize.
"I could of course just have released them again," Aglaia mused about one way she could participate in the contest, she shook her head. No the reward was not that interesting to her, and most often she would end with a wasted day with no winnings and no pokemon.

"No! Noo! Leave me alone! Pikipek! No!" Someone shouted behind them and both Aglaia and Smokey turned around. A karrablast had thrown the pikipek aside, having knocked it out and looked to be targeting the young trainer, who backed away fearfully.
"No! Leave!" He whimpered and Aglaia frowned and felt guilt wrap around her heart, had it escaped and was now taking its frustration out on him, even though she was to blame?
"Potas!" Smokey shouted and didn't wait for any order, she disappeared underground and upon emerging at the karrablast, she would try chomp down on it and throw it like she had done with the one before.

"Are you okay?" Aglaia called to the boy and he nodded and quickly recalled his bird, now Smokey kept the karrablast busy. "Yeah, I don't know why it's so angry," he called back and Aglaia couldn't help but look guiltily at him, "it probably didn't like to get caught."
"What?" The boy said confused, "who has caught it?" Then his eyes widened, "OH! Oh no, I still got mine!" He said triumphally and raised the sport ball high in the air. He grinned and then ran with his two pokeballs back to the entrance without as much as a thank you.
