I guess some of you may not have known, but yesterday was Mother's Day for the US. I was just a little curious on what everybody did on Mother's Day.
Me? My dad, little brother, and myself went to Denver, Colorado to... visit my mom. We stayed over at my grandparents as well. We left on Saturday and are now on our way home (though the weather is being less than cordial with us). We're at a truck stop somewhere, getting some grub. Thought I'd drop in to say hi as well, in case you wondered where I vanished to. I'll be back again later tonight (if we don't come home to no electric or something).

From what I spoke to you about your trip, it seemed like you were having a pleasant time in Denver so I hope the remaining duration of journey was equally as good. It's nice that you went as a family to pay tribute to her. I know a lot of people take Mother's Day for granted which is a huge shame.
Mother's Day in the UK was a fair while ago I believe. I sent my mum up a card and some money to treat herself to something. Otherwise i'd probably have spent the day with her had I not been at uni.
