ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: On | Time: Day Soft eyes carved from cocoa turned their gaze silently upon the windowsill, lips curled into sharp declines, causing creases in their corners. The curtains were pulled taut, with blinds pulled down fully, blocking out the heat and light of the day. The lightbulb remained off, hung just above the bed as though it was some cruel attempt to ensure no one jumped atop its downy covers. Zaiden slowly pulled himself out of the bed, shrugging the plush comforter along with the ghostly thin sheets to the side and nearly off the bed itself. Another day, another moment where he seemed trapped between these impossible ideals. His parents counted on him. Criminals rushed by in the dark alleys he’d managed to pass by along the quiet city. Their telltale signs remained obvious to the trained eye, though Zaiden fought against the urge to judge without proof. Would a good officer of the International Police Force do such an atrocious thing? There was a day given to such waywards, allowing them to meet their makers in the forms of suited up judges and a group of ‘like yourself’ juries. He could only report in good faith, which the young man quickly and easily did at nearly every turn. It was odd. He’d ran back to Violet City only temporarily because something was dropped off at the local Pokémon Center, though the Professor wouldn’t go into great details over the logistics. “Make sure you prepare for a trip! Pack your bags!” The laughing tone was lost of Zaiden at least at first, who simply turned his head to his side and pointed to the backpack he carried everywhere with him. “Oh yes…I suppose you’re right! A trainer always has their things packed, huh?” A simple nod and smile, then a quick close of the lines after confirming the details. Zaiden opened the door to his hotel room and walked out into the blinding lights of the long hallways that led back to the receptionist’s desk. He checked out, handing them the keys to the room with a quick bow for thanks, and trudged through the double doors to the establishment, into the waking world of the open city. Rain poured down on the sidewalk, causing a splash against the dirt and grass. Who ordered rain? Rich chocolate hues stared up at steely clouds whose dart hues stretched over the heavens themselves, obscuring the sun and the once bright blue hues of the skies. A bright burst of light zapped from the thick cumulonimbus clouds, followed by a loud clap of thunder. “Welcome to the Pokémon Center, my name’s Nurse Joy! How can I help you?” The voice was bright and cheery, feigning as though the storms weren’t currently drowning out all else, as Zaiden slipped through the automatic doors to the center. Its bright red arches combined with the large counter and bubbly-eyed pink-haired nurse that stood behind it, remained an inviting and welcoming place. Zaiden shrugged his bag off his back, turned to unzip the compartments, and began shuffling around. “Sir…? Do you need a translator?” She pulled out a nearby sign with other languages scribbled on the side and gestured for Zaiden to point to the one he might understand, to no avail. The young lad only kept shuffling around with a shake of his head. Eventually, the teenage boy stood back up. He pulled out a small red device that opened on the side with a small clasp. Nurse Joy blinked and slowly accepted the young man’s Pokedex in confusion, turning it over in her hands. “This certainly is a Pokedex…did you find it or is it yours?” She asked. Zaiden pointed to himself with a broad smile and gestured to the clasp on the side, which Nurse Joy easily clicked to open it up. “…I am the property of young Zaiden Kabila…” The dex spoke in a bright, chipper voice. She nodded and handed the small device back over, hands outstretched expectantly for his Pokémon. “Thank you for that! But…I would have healed your Pokémon either way, it’s not necessary.” She laughed. Then it dawned on her. She’d seen him before! “Wait….Zaiden? You already know how our center works. Haven’t you used my services before?” Zaiden nodded, quiet contemplation. “Then…why are you being so shy?” Finally, the dam broke. Instead of shattering though, it only cracked a little, allowing a small trickle of words to flow from his lips. “I’m not?” He took a deep breath of air and held it in his lungs as he juggled his thoughts. “Professor Elm left something?” The silence filled the spaces in between as he fought against the anxieties trying to wrap around his heart. “For me?” Nurse Joy’s bright blue eyes brightened as though a lightbulb clicked above her head. Oh, yeah! “You know…something did come in early this morning with your name on it. I was just telling my coworkers how we should send it over to Azalea. Are you not calling the Professor and updating him with your progress on the open routes? He said he took a guess as to what city you were currently at, you know, which usually indicates…” The words pooled from the Nurse’s lips with ease, as though she was starving for the attention of another human being. Zaiden nodded and took a seat in one of the empty chairs nearby. Nurse Joy eventually disappeared through two doors and pulled out a small ticket. “Here you go! You’ve won a free trip to the Safari Zone! Some old lady in Cherrygrove called Professor Elm up raving about the help you gave her with her gardens. And just…would not shut up…apparently. Poor thing, probably lonely in her old house, I guess. That’s why I’m glad I work here. I see so many people and faces, there’s no way I could get so bored! Anyways, there’s a free ride coming to get you in a few minutes, if you’ll wait.” Nurse Joy giggled, turning back to clean the countertops whilst waiting on another soul that might need her services. The ride came, collected Zaiden, and went. The road was a long and bumpy one, though the driver took ‘short cuts’ through scenic stretches of the open country roads that led to Olivine City. Zaiden paused between still shot moments of sitting in the car and standing back up outside of it. He turned, a bronze complexion that seemed chiseled by the sun itself underneath its ever-presence heat, and stared at the portside city cast over with thick grey clouds reminiscent of the same ones in Violet City just seconds before. Many of the trainers here seemed bonded with strong, evolved Pokémon especially from steel and electric backgrounds. He hummed softly with a chuckle and tried to recall if Jasmine – who he vaguely remembered learning was a GYM Leader to one of these cities around here and assumed it was Olivine – was an electric-type trainer or steel. They boarded a boat that gave them a short drive over to Cianwood. This was completely different in comparison, with its thick mountains seemingly nearly impassable to other parts of the island, and the rocky outcroppings that could take your foot out if you weren’t careful. Zaiden finally made it to the front counter, where he presented his ticket with a strange, curious glow in his eyes. “Huh? What? Oh, this?!” The gatekeeper gruffed, taking it at once and checking it over for authenticity. Everything seemed in order. “Yep, good to go. Here you are, some balls. Leave your Pokémon with me. If you hurt the natural balance of our Safari trying to battle them or do anything illegal, you won’t need an officer to come arrest you.” The guard scoffed, pointing to his shiny, metallic friend at his side. Zaiden gulped, finally pushing his way through the large wooden doors to the Safari Zone and closing them behind himself with a soft click. Kanto had its own Safari Zone that he used to love to visit on its sightseeing tours back when he was a small lad, though those trips costs so much they were very rare. Would this Safari Zone have similar species to the ones his Safari Zone had way back then? Or would there be new, mystical creatures to capture his imagination here? ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: On | Time: Day Tall grasses with their golden arches curved quietly along their tops, creating a crease between the parts that clamored for the skies above and the parts that tried to anchor back down to the grounds. It left long stretches of open lands nearly flat with barely an inclination or declination to their nature, though the thick grass obscured the ground underfoot. Some acacia tortilis trees shot up in sporadic patterns on long woody trunks that swelled up towards their tops with thick bundles of bright green pinnate leaves that swelled like an umbrella open wide. A strange looking cat stared back from within the branches of one of the trees, then leapt down and raced off through the tangle of golden grasses in a hurry. Zaiden blinked, pausing along his trek through the area as he watched the feline streaking through the savannah on the tips of its paws. He hummed softly to himself, lips curling in a slight frown, and tilted his head with a quiet thought. Compared to the many creatures that would charge after him along the open routes of Johto or paid him little mind when he passed by, seeing one whose power and dominance could tear him to shreds simply pounce off over the horizon line was…. intriguing, to say the least. Then a sickening feeling sunk into the pit to the teenager’s heart, causing his eyes to widen in alarm. Would it come back with its friends? It was a sinking thought that cause Zaiden’s feet to lurch through those same tangles of golden arches in pursuit of his own Safari adventure. They didn’t give him a guide or an easy ride about, just a quick nod with the ticket exchanged over and an opening of the large wooden doors that separated the Safari from the waking world. Eventually he managed to find himself near a large rock outcropping just short enough that with some squirming and effort, he could climb up on and stare out over the relatively quiet Savannah. A clash erupted from nearby releasing a strange, foul stench that permeated the air. Zaiden immediately rolled off the large rock and crouched in the tall grasses, hiding himself from whatever would be wild Pokemon lurked just beyond. When he braved the moment, Zaiden pulled bundles of the grass to the side with both hands and peered out over the Savannah. Two bugs rammed into each other with large brown toughened exoskeletons and barbed horn-like pincers protruding from the tops of their skulls. They duked, a class of territory and fought for survival, with one lifting the other up in its mighty horns while the counterpart squirmed and fought to try and break free from its opponent. Zaiden’s eyes widened and though he knew the species well, witnessing one of these bugs completely break its friend in half, leaving the two pieces discarded in the grass was enough of a warning to send him packing. What a strong Pokemon! As he crawled away to safety, hoping to find something that didn’t seem so bloodthirsty, Zaiden silently admitted that he found that particular Pinsir pretty cool. Hopefully it wouldn’t follow him? Please, don’t let that menace chase after him within the wild tangles of the tall elephant grasses! He paused occasionally, eyes shifting back through the mass of grass and open planes to ensure that he hadn’t been spotted by the bug, before dashing through those same grasses to escape. The clash continued behind him evidently with other bugs, their screams echoing through the golden blades as though a consistent reminder of what Zaiden raced away from. ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: On | Time: Day Feet etched through the golden grasses of the savanna creating a honey-hued blur all around him. Zaiden’s heart raced inside of his chest. Were those giant bugs still chasing after him? He peered around the base of a large rock he’d managed to find and hide behind, eyes searching around the area with worry. Where were they? Where were they hiding? A lone baobab tree stood nearby, stretching its thin canopy over itself and Zaiden. The trunk was so thick that even if a group of people linked hands around it, it might be possible that they couldn’t quite complete the link. Something stirred through the savanna, its feet pounding against the ground creating the drums of war. The young teen pressed his back against the cold, rough surface of the large rock outcropping and slowly breathed. He had to think. He was here! Finally, he was on his own Safari adventure without being tethered inside of a rolling cart with his parents simply learning the basics of the wild Pokemon that called the area home. Why was the fear of his own mortal life such a real and imposing feelings? A large, armored face with blunt nostrils curved into an almost beak-like mouth full of sharp teeth pushed through brush, snapping longer yet brittle blades of grass with ease. One long, sharp horn protruded from the center of its skull, between the two amber hues it used to study the world. It clawed at the earthen ground underneath with one of its clawed paws and pressed its nose against the earth, taking in deep pockets of air to scent the land. Was the wild creature picking up on his scent? Zaiden gulped, quietly concerned about what that might mean. The strange purple hued armored hyrax turned its head up and stared at the rock where Zaiden hid. In response, he pressed himself low to the ground and turned away, breathing in low and deep breaths. His heart raced in long circles in his chest, causing his head to feel lighter as though he might faint. There’s no way it saw him….right? No… Zaiden tried to convince himself. Tried to remind him that their eyesight was weakened in their current state. Its large rabbit-like, spiky ears dripped with strange toxic oils that permeated through its dense hide. The beast twitched those same long ears and listened. Those same amber hued eyes narrowed suspiciously, then it bellowed a loud, raucous call that shook the branches of the nearby tree. Oh no! Zaiden immediately hopped up onto his feet and plucked a ball from his side. Where was his team when he needed them?! The beast came crashing through the expansive grasses of the savanna. Nidorino rammed its horn into the large rock that once hid Zaiden as he immediately fled to a safer vantage point. The hard granite object cracked but remained solid. This did not detour the wild hyrax, whose eyes now seeped with an enraged glow that promised death. It slammed its long horn into the rock. And slammed into it again. And again. Eventually the large boulder’s crack expanded across the entire foundation and caused it to fall into several smaller pieces. Please let this work! Zaiden gulped, pressing the centrally located button on the sphere. He tossed it into the air with bated breath, pressing both hands against the sides of his cheek in anxious desperation. I need to get away from that beast before it rips me into pieces! He huffed, immediately jumping behind a nearby tree and cowering low as he awaited to see what would happen next. Would the capture prove successful? Carefully, cautiously, Zaiden peered from around the tree’s trunk and anxiously eyed the spot where the large and powerful hyrax lurked – where he’d tossed the Safari Ball in vain hopes of capturing. ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: On | Time: Day Zaiden’s feet pounded against the ground. He pushed bundles of the swaying golden grass out of his way. Large eyes stared in a panic at the pathway ahead. He needed to get as far away as possible, and hope for the best. A blast of red light zapped the wild purple beast inside but couldn’t contain it. It fell on the ground with a quiet thud and rolled about wildly. While it bounced around, Zaiden slid over the side of a small ledge and pressed his back against a large tree. The beast broke out, bellowing loudly with a wild scream, and charged blindly once more. Zaiden laid low with his heart racing inside of his chest. It hurt Zaiden to breathe and to think. He twisted his head to either side, searching through the wild grass and open plains for signs of strife or trouble. Footsteps thumped against the ground overhead. He listened to the beast’s loud breathing as it snorted and sniffed at the ground just before the ledge. Large amber hues glaring with hints of red in their vision studied the strange smear of steps that seemed to stagger around in odd patterns. Its nostrils studied the fresh scents that seemed to slide over the edge. He could hardly steal his breath. Rich chocolate brown hues stared up to the top of the ledge above his head with wide eyes. They were nearly the size of saucers and appeared as though they might pop out of his skull. He could see parts of the large beast and watched some of the toxic oils that dripped off through dense hide fall over the edge. The splashed against the ground and sizzled, burning at the small bits of decaying leaves and dead grass where the droplets landed. Zaiden quietly scooted away from the drops with a shudder. This was what it was like to face one of these creatures on your own. Zaiden marveled at the beast and wondered how mankind convinced themselves they were Pokemon’s equals. They helped them, by guiding them and training them to help them grow stronger. Some Pokemon could only evolve thanks to human intervention. But cowering here and laying low, witnessing only a portion of Nidorino’s power as it dripped on the ground near him, Zaiden realized more than anything humans needed Pokemon, more so than they needed their human trainers. He sighed, plucking another ball from his side, and tossed it back over the ledge with the click of a button. Oh, Arceus, please work! ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: On | Time: Day The young teenager’s heart pounded against his chest. It beat in time with his steps. He could hear his shoes thudding through the tall golden grasses and hear the ways the long blades fought back with soft rustling as they swayed away from his feet. Fear seized his mind. It caused him to move as quickly as he could, darting through the plains as a small blur in between the grasses that were sometimes taller than himself. Was the beast following him? Rich cocoa hues searched behind the beige boy’s body wildly, until they settled on the small ledge he darted from. The small ball rolled about on the ground and bounced a bit. Clearly, the beast inside of the orb struggled against its containment. He bit his nails and silently prayed to Arceus. Why did his Pokémon have to be taken away for this trip? Wouldn’t it make sense for him to have some sort of protection in the heat of the savanna? Especially against such wild and dangerous creatures?! The ball broke, releasing the large, armored beast once more, and caused Zaiden to spin on the top of his heels and flee through the thick golden grasses before its charge. And charge the beast certainly did. Its small eyes searched through the golden grasses their vision limited from their peripheral. Somewhere there was an intruder who challenged their domain. Large ears with pointed tips flickered and listened. That short, stocky head twisted this way and that. Zaiden hid against the base of a large tree and shook as though he were having convulsions. He slid down to the bottom of the tree’s base and feared chancing a glance around the large baobab tree. The feet of the large, armored beast pounded against the ground like the drums of war. Nidorino rushed off the cliff with a mighty leap. As soon as he landed, his mighty thud shook the earth around him, causing small creatures to dart out of the golden grasses in different directions. Nidorino huffed, raising up on his rear limbs awkwardly, and slammed the full brunt of his weight against the ground as he stomped his front limbs against the ground. A warning to those same creatures that fled underfoot whose domain they were in. It turned, eyes burning on the same tree Zaiden hid behind, and rushed after the tree with its horn pointed at the tree. The horn slammed through the thick bark in a blur. Zaiden jumped back as his ears rang with the sounds of wood splitting and bark breaking away. Nidorino bellowed, placing one of its large feet against the base of the tree, and pulled with all its might. It shook and twisted its head in different directions, trying to free itself. Thinking quickly, Zaiden jumped up onto his feet and raced back through the savanna, scarcely brave enough to turn his head around to see where the beast was. He managed to put a bit of distance between himself and Nidorino, before the tree crashed to the ground. With another stolen glance, Zaiden’s eyes widened in disbelief. Nidorino managed to break free and charged with a rebellious yell through the savanna. Those same footsteps rang in Zaiden’s ear, reminding him what was just behind him. And it was gaining ground fast! He needed to think. He needed a place to hide! Zaiden’s eyes lit up when he noticed a shaded place where three trees sprouted up in a triangle, with large shrubs around the perimeter. It created a nice, secluded place to hide. Zaiden pulled out another Safari Ball and tossed it behind himself with the click of a button. Come on…please work. Please work! He begged, making a sharp turn to detour towards the small secluded spot where he could try and hide. OOC: Using 1 Safari Ball again. Words: 636 | Speech. ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: On | Time: Day The air remained stagnant and stale. Zaiden cowered amongst the bushes and tangle of vines; eyes widened with worry. He carefully peeled his head out from around the base of a small spurge, careful of the seeping sap that leaked from its trunk. Though the sap was used in different forms of medicinal applications, it was also known to be toxic when ingested. The blue-gray leaves wrapped around the beige teenager, pulling him in with a kind and gentle touch. He would lay and wait, his breathing erratic and fast as he tried to calm his racing heart. The beast easily evaded the Safari Ball with a loud bellow that shook the grounds it raced across. The small ball with a camouflaged dome top rolled through the thick bundle of golden elephant grasses and disappeared out of sight. Zaiden couldn’t chase one small ball down. Would it even work if he tried, anyways? Usually, the balls broke, or they landed against some other sharp object that broke them. This time, it rolled off into obscurity, a mockery of his attempt to slow the beast that chased him. He gulped and listened, too afraid to face the beast himself. Nidorino trotted, his nostrils flared as he pressed his face to the ground. They puffed out huge pockets of air like steam hissing from a boiling pot. Those same golden-amber hues stared through the grass, hunting for the prey-like creature that managed to evade Nidorino during the worst of the trek. Zaiden could hear the beast only feet apart as it searched through the lush savanna. He froze in terror and waited quietly as Nidorino stomped around the small outcropping that Zaiden managed to carefully hide himself inside of to try and avoid the toxic beast before him. Nidorino pawed at some of the bushes along the outskirts and cried loudly from the pain as their sharp needles prodded him back. They weren’t safe. Not by a long shot. Though pockets of green foliage, Zaiden watched the purple monstrosity lurk around the perimeter. Huge spikes jutted along its spine and down its backside, where a stump of what might have been a tail remained. That same long horn poked and prodded between open pockets in the trees. Occasionally, Nidorino rammed one of the trees with the brunt force of its weight, kicking and screaming as it tried to topple the plant completely. Other times, it would only screamed, a loud almost metallic screech that irritated the ears, whilst trying to find a way to penetrate through the tangle of briar bushes and prickly vines. Zaiden couldn’t stay here all day, hiding from this large beast that hunted him. Was it for food? Was it out of fear that Zaiden somehow caused? Was it simply territorial and a need to cast the would-be opponent far off its turf? Other Pokemon around the area fled in fear as soon as the telltale sounds of pounding hooves streaked across the savanna, hinting at the possibility of the latter. He slowly plucked another Safari Ball and paused as he thought carefully about what he wanted to do. So far, this hadn’t worked in his favor. Was it worth it to chuck another one through the tangle of vines and prickly bushes, with only a hope and a prayer that it would work? ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: On | Time: Day The small spherical capsule rolled across the golden grassy ground with a soft thud. It completely missed its target, flying just passed Nidorino’s face with soft thuds that were barely audible as it tumbled about. The large, armored hide bumbled about, spinning on its feet towards the sound of the containment that thumped past them both in the direction they’d run from. It searched with its amber hues narrowed in frustration. Small wisps escaped from Nidorino’s thick snout as a loud snort followed by raucous bellow shook the earth. It raced after the small capsule in a hasty need. Zaiden gulped, his arms and legs trembling uncontrollably as he fumbled through the thick tangle of prickly vines and gnarly roots. He tripped and stumbled along the way, fear seizing his mind as well as his body. He had to get away! Loud stomps rocked the earth as the sounds of metal snapping reverberated inside of Zaiden’s ears. There was no doubt in the young teen’s mind that this beast managed to find and destroy the capsule he’d recently tossed in vain. How long would it be until it managed to find and pulverize him to bits with its lawed feet?! Nidorino whirled back in a fury, eyes searching through the grassy savanna. It flicked its long, rabbit-like ears and twisted its head in different directions. Zaiden pressed his back against a nearby stone and stared off into space as his heart thumped loudly inside of his chest. Was it going to rip its way out? Run away from his body before the beast pulverized its too? The young teen could hardly catch his breath, and the effort to do so hurt with every exhalation. He needed something to help get him out of this mess and fast! He’d tossed so many Safari Balls, and yet none of them seemed to work? Nidorino settled, pressing its beak-like snout against the grassy ground. Large jaws divided, showing their rows of largely herbivorous teeth with a few sharp, jagged ones that seemed to hint at a varied diet. Carefully, the beast plucked some grass out of the earthen ground and chewed on their long, golden blades. At least Nidorino was eating. Would that afford Zaiden the break he needed to dart off into the distance, and manage his stealthy escape? As he tested the earth, moving a hand forward to try and lift himself up, the beast stomped on the ground and snorted loudly. It craned its head back up and searched for the slightest sound, proving the depth of hearing that it must have. Zaiden gulped, quickly slipping back to his position where he remained hidden behind the large, rocky outcropping. That wouldn’t work! He’d only run the risk of getting himself killed! There were rocks littered about in the grass that he could use to fling at Nidorino, hoping to scare it off if nothing else. And there was some bait that the attendant ensured Zaiden packed for the trip, meant to lull the beast into a calmer state of mind. But would either truly work? He sighed, turning to his bag with quiet resignation. The young trainer had to hope that this beast wouldn’t keep missing every single ball he tossed after it. Please work! Zaiden screamed in the back of his head, pulling another one out with the press of a button. These kinds of trips weren’t so scary when I was younger! He gulped, eyes widened in fear. He’d had the trips with his parents within the safety of a large, armored vehicle, but still! Zaiden tossed another Safari Ball in quick haste and silently prayed to Arceus that this one would be the one! OOC: Using 1 Safari Ball again. Words: 619 | Speech. ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: On | Time: Day Fear echoed inside of Zaiden’s chest as he pressed his back against the giant rock and waited. Though he tried his best to aim, the uncontrollable shaking wreaking havoc on his body caused the young teenager to misjudge. The capsule soared overhead and bounced of the side of a small shrub tree. Nidorino spun around, claws digging into the dirt, and snorted loudly. It narrowed its eyes angrily in the direction the ball bounced and chased after the Poke Ball. The wild hyrax stomped on top of the small capsule and smashed it to pieces. In its anger and haste, Nidorino flipped the pieces away with his horn. Zaiden waited. While he remained silent as a lamb, hidden behind the boulder that managed to obscure his form, he hoped and prayed. Wouldn’t this wild creature eventually tire of its chase? Time etched by, clawing slowly at the edges of his mentality. He listened carefully to the gentle rustling of the wind through the long, golden blades of grass. He stared off into the distance and watched the world beyond his containment. Small insects buzzed about, creating a soft hum. Small pockets of cirrocumulus clouds floated lazily through the rich, light blue seas in the heavens above. They left a large, wide gap where the bright orange ball of flaming gas affectionately called ‘sun’ burned brightly. It was so hot. Zaiden could feel drops of sweat rolling down the back of his neck. Was the beast gone, yet? A quick glance around the massive rock and Zaiden noticed that Nidorino was slowly ambling further away from him. Thankfully! His feet ached with a burning passion that longed to stand up once more. Please, just hurry up and go already! Zaiden screamed inside of his head, though he dare not scream these words aloud. He raised a hand over his head to shield his eyes from the harsh rays of the burning sun and sighed. Until Nidorino finally ran off into the distance, it left Zaiden with very little he could do besides sitting there and wait. And wait… And wait… Then, something miraculous happened and saved him from his fate! A herd of pink and purple hyraxes with long rabbit-like ears and sharp, jagged protrusions jutting out of their backs along their spines bellowed from just on the horizon line in the distance behind Zaiden where Nidorino ambled about. The wild creature tilted his large head and listened, before crying loudly back in their direction. Within a few short moments, Nidorino kicked his clawed limbs against the ground and raced off into the distance after his companions, allowing Zaiden to finally catch his breath. That was really close! Zaiden clamored for peace and space as he rocked back up onto his two feet, standing for a moment with an invigorating rush of just the feeling alone. All the warning signs that tell you to respect the natural balance and warn against battling these creatures. Well-deserved but…. Maybe a few more notices on making sure you also know just how dangerous they can be? Zaiden resigned his inner thoughts with a shrug. It was his fault, he supposed, for somehow spooking the beast. He hurried himself away from the area entirely, just in case, and searched through the rich savanna to see what else lurked in the area. OOC: New encounter please. Words: 559 | Speech.
