The adventures of Pretzel the substitute delivery pony -SOLO

~ My interpretation of the " Elms missing shipment plot"

The excited pony wandered around, nibbling on some leaves and flowers, it often made little strolls away from it's trainer. It needed to explore a little, as her trainer was so busy cooking and doing boring things that Pretzel. Needed an escape and quick. It ran happily through an open field of flowers close to the forests edge. the sky was blue and it smelled like honey for some reason. Which was weird as they had not passed by any Combees. The pony tried to push the thoughts about honey to the side as it shook its head gracefully. Her colourful curls danced gently to the breeze of wind that would occasionally flow through the field.

She had met a new trainer a couple of days ago. Her previous owner hadn't really let her explore. She just was in her stables, enjoying the days, yet the pony was very excited to meet her new trainer. Even though the girl was a little strange, they probably would have some great adventures together right? Then why was she even exploring on her own right now? it was weird, but she missed her freedom a little, doing whatever she wanted, so she just needed a little breather. It wasn't like she disliked the squirtle either. Though her new azuril grabbed all the attention. No way that little mouse was cuter than her, Pretzel sighed as she moved on about to lay down in the shade. A giant berry tree, in the middle of the field was a great place to relax for a little.

As she was about to sit down, she saw a small bird looking Pokémon that looked like it crashed in to the tree. It was a pidgeotto, a little hat on and a big bag of letters and a small package in another bag. It seemed heavy, why was it carrying this alone? Was it okay? Pretzel was just going for a little stroll, and now she had to deal with a wounded Pokémon, think little pony what do I do? She wondered to herself as she nervously trotted from left to right. She considered ignoring the Pidgeooto and leaving, but no that wasn't in her nature. She sighed with a Neigh as she slowly began to close up on the injured bird.

The pony slowly moved forward, a little skittish and rather careful. It's hooves  trying to avoid the flowers sprawled about, and making sure there weren't any wild Ekans hiding in the tall grass. " What are you staring at " The pidgeotto grumbled as it looked at the small pastel horse. " Am I in Pokeheaven? A ponyta that is all pink and purple " it asked itself as it tied to rise up.  but it's wing sure was broken and it winced in pain as it looked at the Pony expectantly. The pidgeotto had a big red bag full of letters and cards on its side, and next to where he crashed was a parcel, that barely had any damage on it. The bird must have protected it when it was falling. but why was it wounded?

" You aren't in heaven, I think we are alive " Pretzel explained nervously as it looked at the Pidgeotto. " what happened to you? are you okay? want me to get help "  The pony quickly answered, her nerves at all time high, yet she tried to keep them hidden as if she had the situation under control. Yet frantically asking three questions at once, typically wasn't a sign of control. " Oh and I am not a normal ponyta you know in this region " Pretzel explained a little sad that  a lot of Pokemon thought of her as a rare occurrence. Even at the farm where she lived all the ponyta's were fire types. 

" An angry fearow was chasing me for a long time, I shook it off for now, but I can't rest, my trainer got paid to have me deliver this package to a professor" The pidgeotto continued as it winced in pain. trying to get up, but falling onto its stomach, sprawled out in the gall grass. Pretzel wasn't sure how to respond, she considered offering to bring the package to the professor, but how was she going to carry it without hands. She sighed as she looked at the bird Pokemon, she considered bringing her trainer here, but Finny probably didn't know what to do either. Pretzel was a little worried, she didn't want to leave the bird alone, but she knew it needed help, she looked on for a second, wondering what to do.
