New Bark Town
Today was the day that Daniella Greenburg was to get her Pokemon. A starter which is so crazy rare between Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle. So difficult to choose just one and one is the only thing Daniella can receive! The pressure was on as Daniella's blue eyes switch from one to the other. Sweating seemed to petal her forehead as she hummed in thought.
"Honey-Do you have everything?" Daniella's mother asked, her own blue eyes wandering up and down the heavily equip backpack with wheels.
They had both traveled, backpack rolling behind for easy transportation to the Pokemon lab early that morning for Daniella to choose her first ever Pokemon companion that will join her on her journey. "Mom, I'll be fine! I really want to do this! So this so cool and Mom- I need to pick one!" Getting annoyed, Daniella huffed back to the Pokemon who were watching her curiously.
"I choose you! Charlie is gonna be yer name from now on and we're going to be the best of friends!" Daniella squealed as she picked up her Charmander who squeaked 'char' in surprised but surprisingly stayed calm during the moment. His body was so warm to the touch like a soft hug. The young new trainer was careful not to squeeze to hard. She knows she has to be gentle with them as anybody else. Standing up straight and placing the Pokemon down, well they weren't that much bigger than Daniella herself! Little on the short side, she slide her hands into her pockets of her comfy, pink overalls and plopped in a piece of bubblegum in her mouth and began to chew. Her mother acting fanatic, her words echoing in the distant as Daniella began to daydream...
'Go, Charlie! Use flamethrower!' The orange lizard pokemon opened his mouth as the Mudkip before them began to prepare for the attack. The blast hit the pokemon to barely any effect..
Daniella shook her head. Fighting against a water/ground with a fire type wasn't practical at all. She began to think of another scenario..
"Look Charlie! A bulbasaur! What luck!" Daniella was pictured throwing a pokeball, cheering at the capture with her Charmander in full glee. The background a beautiful field with dazzling flowers and a nice breeze blowing by in the summer air..
"Mom! Please! I'll be just fine and plus, you wanted this! Both you and Dad saying 'it's time to grow up little buttercup'" Daniella smiled from ear to ear as she beamed towards her mom, trying to reassure the woman she'll be just fine. She spoke the truth. Her father was at work during this precious moment so her mother was here giving support.
With tearful goodbyes. Daniella and her newly acquired fire Pokemon went on their way to route 29.
Opening her trusty map, Daniella had already placed the large backpack onto her shoulders prior to leaving New Bark town. Her mother waving goodbye along with the Professor and some of the neighboring kids, too young to go on their own adventures or too afraid.
Daniella kept walking, her backpack clinking in tow with her Charmander walking at her side. "Ah-" She huffed, already the summer heat beating down on her. "Boy.. It's getting so hot out here.. Okay so if we continue west we should arrive to the next town. I'm already thirsty and it hasn't even been-" She glanced at the watch on her wrist, "It hasn't even been thirty minutes. Charlie, when you get bigger, will you carry this heavy thing?" Daniella asked as she slumped over a little due to the weight. She was only carrying it by back due to looking at the map. Putting the atlas away, she slumped the backpack off and began to pull it behind her. "So much better."
"Char!" Her pokemon agreed, not saying a word to the idea of totting the backpack. Perhaps one day but he seemed sort of the quiet type which Daniella didn't pay much attention to. She was too wrapped up in her own imagination and idealism of what was to come...

Ah, the excitement of a new trainer who had just started on their journey with their first pokemon, where would the travel take them? What hardships and wonders would they experience and how would they grow from it? It was a blank page as so many poems loved to write about, and a place where new inexperienced trainers would daydream how perfect it would be. It was now the first bond between the trainer and their first pokemon were build, and it was good that they were well trained so they often were easy to handle for the first time travelers, a rugged started and frustrating situations could end a new trainer career before it really begun, if the two partners failed to get a working teamwork. Leaving New Bark Town, and the disappointed looks of the two rejected starters, Daniella and Charlie's story could begin! It was warm today, and humid. There was plenty of heavy clouds hanging about, though with plenty of holes for the sun to shine through, perhaps rain was on the way? Or perhaps it was just a day where the rain clung to the clouds and made the heat almost unbearable. The wild pokemon wasn't bothered it seemed, they knew how to find shade, when to rest and where fresh water in form of creeks were found. Daniella and Charlie would see several different wild pokemon in the distance, Pidgeys flying above, Rattatas scurrying through the grass, a wurmple high in a tree nibbling on leaves. They were all too far away for them to reach though, if they tried it would become clear they had already been spotted and the wild pokemon would disappear quickly. At least it looked like they didn't have to leave the road to find something to battle, which was probably good as a bag on wheels sometimes could get stuck on rugged ground. They arrived at a clearing with white flowers and a little pond at the foot of a big oak tree. A little spearow had plucked one of the flowers and was trying to get it to stick in between its feathers, while looking at its reflection in the pond. Suddenly something was shot from the tree above and knocked the flower off the spearow. It looked up alarmed. "Are you at it again? You look so stupid you know!" The wurmple from up there shouted and the pidgey sitting beside it laughed, the spearow's eyes began to overflow, "leave me alone! I haven't done anything to you, why are you after me all the time?!"The two bullies smirked at each other, "you haven't, but other spearows have," the pidgey retorted harshly, "go back and hide with them if you can't handle be on your own.""But I don't like.." the spearow started but got cut short as the wurmple covered it in a string shot again. "Blah blah blah," the wurmple mocked and spearow stumbled away from the as pidgey took flight, looking like it was going to cause more trouble for the other bird. Pidgey [Lv 6] and Wurmple [Lv 6] are bullying a spearow [Lv 4]! Do you want help? (this will in that case be a double battle where spearow is on your side) Weather will be clearShiny: AqyXwI|Sp_1-421-42

With the hot sun and the humid air, Danny was beginning to wonder how long was it really to the next town. 'I don't remember it being this long..' she thought as her eyes darted upon the scenery. It was beautiful to see. The trees had pokemon playing. So many to choose from. They were too far to get to and any chance Danny took they fled the scene!
"Charlie, I don't think our adventure is WOrOrOking!" Daniella was about to choke up and cry. "Im hot, its miserable out here and we haven't even made it out of this route yet!" Charlie, her charmander, watched with concerned eyes. He waved his little claw though at the sight before them, just over by the bushes. Daniella looked where her pokemon was pointing to and went to investigate.
There was three pokemon and two seemed to be picking on a Speadow. "Charlie, why are those pokes doing that?" She whispered to her lizard as she crouched behind a bush to watch and observe. Her backpack making some noises behind her, forgetting to leave it behind.. "We could help 'em, you think Charlie?" With that said, she commanded her pokemon out. "Go Charlie, use ember and scare them away!"

The spearow cawed fearfully as it stumbled away from the diving pidgey, why had these two, whose species were normally seen as peaceful and timid suddenly after the one, who was known to be aggressive and territorial. In this situation the roles were certainly switched around. Charlie leaped out from where they were hiding, and the spearow stopped abruptly and backed a few steps fearfully, which made the pidgey miss its target entirely, so its claws only grabbed a handful of grass, instead of the feathers of the spearow. The pidgey sent Charlie a worried look as it circled back, all three wild pokemon were waiting to see what he was going to do. Charlie got an order, but not any target, what made him decide to go for the worm in the tree, way back only he knew. He ran past the two birds and covered it in embers, it was good it was so humid today, the leaves which crumbled and burned didn't burst into flames. Using fires in a forest was always a risk! The spearow stared with open beak, where they here to help it?! "Hey! Stay out of this!" The pidgey screamed and flapped its wings to pick up speed, a moment later it crashed into Charlie and sent them both rolling over the grass. "Why do you want to help it?! They are the evil ones!" The wurmple shouted from the tree, it was wincing in pain, as the fires had burned it and left its skin sore. "I haven't done anything!" The spearow cawed in defense and the wurmple glared at it, "but your family has! It's just as much your fault!"Spearow puffed its feathers out indignant and with help on its side it found the courage to do something about it. It jumped to the sky and landed beside the worm, whom it gave a firm Peck. "No it's not! I'm just me!" the spearow defended itself. "Why are you both attacking me?! It's not faaaiiiirr!" The wurmple wailed and shot stringshots in all direction. The two birds scambled out of reach but Charlie was unlucky and got covered in the majority of it. Charlie did as he was told and lit up an ember attack which hit the wrumple. "Great job Charlie! Nice hit!" The young trainer cheered for joy, giving a victory jump at the excitement. Her colored hair bouncing along with her movement as she continued to pump fists into the air, giving moral support to her pokemon and the Spearow. "come on guys, lets do this! Again, ember!" She said with such excitement as she posed her stance like she seen on tv. She must looked ridiculous to some but she was just being a kid, herself in the moment of such power. Rubbing the sweat she from brow, she wondered which pokemon she should attempt to catch. The way the battle is going, only one would survive and that spearow isn't doing bad either.

With the strings tying him down, Charlie had got a lot slower than before since every movement the sticky threads pulled at his skin. It made him move around more careful so it was good that he didn't have to chase his opponents around when using Ember, that was all about aiming. The pidgey was now much faster and it got to its feet what looked to be instantly. It wasn't turned away by the lack of reaction of Charlie, it just kept throwing accusations at him. "Why are you helping those bullies?! You are just one of them, aren't you?! Needing to bully the weak to feel strong yourself! Well, I'm not having any of it and I'll teach you a lesson and your place, and to be nice to others and not such a brat!" It rambled as it began to charge at him on foot. Charlie had just gotten to his feet when it slammed into him sideways and sent him face first into the grass. "And stay down!" It chirped. "Ow. Ow ow ow," the wurmple whimpered as it tried to slowly crawl away, tears welled in its eyes from the pain of the burn, this was not fun anymore, why was everyone else around it always so strong and mean? Why did the birds always peck at it? Pidgey had been one of the few who hadn't, and they had become friends, and all the other pokemon it met were either biting, or pecking, or slapping it. "Hey! I'm not done with you!" Spearow called after it and the worms eyes widened in fear, it tried to crawl faster but had no chance of out-crawling the flying brown bird, who landed beside it and gave it a strong peck, sending it tumbling into the bushes below. Spearow spread its wings and cawed victoriously, it had won its first battle! Everyone might laugh at it and call it weak, but it had just proved it could be cute and mighty at the same time! "I'm never going to be strong, never going to evolve," the worm sniffled as it crawled away. Charlie finally managed to get up sitting, Pidgey was still chirping angrily at him so it was easy to shower with embers, which only made it more furious. With one opponent left it was easy for Charlie to pick now he didn't get any guidance on what to target. With a rather simple battle like this one it didn't make much difference, but in more tactical battles against other trainers, it could be important, but Danny would find a way no doubt about that. The one wurmple out of the way. Danny felt the excitement in the battle. She couldn't understand pokemon so she couldn't understand what was going on to begin with. All she saw was two pokemon attacking the spearow and it needed some help. Right now though her charmander needed her help. His health seemed low.
"Oh no Charlie, here!" She dugged into her heavily backpack and flung a potion at charlie who looked at her confused. Luckily the item didn't hit the pokemon. "Charlie, im sorry here." Danny quickly ran to her pokemons aide and sprayed the potion. "You're doing great buddy, let's keep at it. Ember!"

Pidgey huffed annoyed, it had finally a chance to give back some of all that bullying those spearows had done to it and its kin for years, and then this stupid fire breather decided to get in the way. "Too stupid to speak," it mumbled as it finally realized it wasn't going to get an answer from Charlie on all its questions. "Doesn't matter, you won't last long and will learn to not stick your nose in where it doesn't belong," it decided but then hopped back suspiciously at the girl made her way over and kneeled beside her starter pokemon. What was she up to? Was it going to battle against her too?1 It hadn't seen humans participate in battles before, but it was young and inexperienced so who knew? It watched as Danny applied what looked like water to Charlie before she withdrew, and it remembered there were more than just the two of them in the battle, so it glanced over its shoulder. It's expression darkened when it saw Spearow preening its feathers proudly and messing around with the flower from before to get it to sit perfectly among its feathers on top of its head. Pidgey huffed, the spearow looked way too proud of itself, Pidgey would handle it as soon as it was done with Charlie. The human moved away and Pidgey ran forward and tackled Charlie, sending him rolling into the dust again. The bird huffed and nodded pleased, that had to be it, and it turned to teach the spearow a lesson. Charlie had needed a bit of time for the potion to work, and the sticky threads still made him slow, but eventually he got back up on his feet, aimed and sent a barrage of embers after the leaving pidgey, who screeched out in shock and pain when it got hit.
