The worm paused and looked at Ditz for a moment, it had almost sounded like the spinda thought she was the trainer. The worm shook its head, that was crazy talk, and it was sure it had misunderstood when Ditz urged the human to throw a ball. "Oh no! You don't understand! We wurmples don't evolved by battling, we need to eat a lot and then find a place to make a cocoon and save energy until we're ready to break out with wings of ours!" It explained eagerly and then even took time to look at the sky, "I can't wait to be able to fly! To see the world from above, feel the wind!" It chuckled a bit bashfully, "that was why I was up on the roof! To try how it was as its going to be a bit boring while I can't move as a cocoon."It's smile froze on its face when they hadn't heard a word of what it had said, or if they had, they at least chose to ignore the part of it wanting to evolve before it got a trainer. "No! Wait! Nonononon!" It screeched horrified as the pokeball flew through the air and it flailed desperately with all its stumps. "It don't wanna be a wurmple foreveeeeerrrrr!" It shouted as it turned in an attempt to run off, the pokeball hit it straight in the back of its head and sucked it inside while it continued to roll over the ground. When it lay still it had already caught the worm. Ditz has caught her first pokemon and grows +3 levels to [Lv 7]! She learns Copycat! Please fill the information about your new pokemon[img src="https://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/gen5ani/wurmple.gif"] [b]Wurmple[/b] Name: [choose] Gender: [chsooe] Level: 5 OT: Elena Rosser Moves: Tackle, String Shot, Poison Sting Ability: Shield Dust Nature/Personality: [choose] (ooc: 1 pokeball deducted. Also just as an information to another time, you can use an item in the same post as a move, f.ex. you could order an attack and then throw a pokeball, or you could switch and attack, it would still take two rounds, just cramped into one post. Wouldn't make any difference in this situation as there were 100% catchrate on the wurmple this round ^^ )

Elena watched as the Wurmple looked to the sky, seemingly unaware of the pokeball she had sent hurtling at him. She had caught it off gaurd, which was perfect for her chances. Her glee turned to guilt as she heard the blood curdling screech the poor bug let out as it was caught. Ditz had put up resistance sure, but this wurmple seemed utterly devastated at the prospect of being caught. The joy had been drained from her victory now. Ditz rushed the newly filled pokeball and held it aloft like a prize possession. [¡] my first pokemon! Now I'm a real trainer too! [/i] she proclaimed as it clutched the gall close to her chest. don't worry. I'll feed you lots and make you evolve quick little buddy the spinda proclaimed before losing it's balance and tossing the pokeball in its fall. Elena fumbled with it but eventually managed to catch her bew pokeball in her hands. Just as she was about to put it up she saw the pouting face on the Spinda. With a huff she handed it back, sure the S spinda wanted it. "Here, just don't lose it alright" she replied. Ditz clutched the ball like her heart was trapped inside. "Ok! Two Pokemon already! I'm on a roll!" Elena said as she pressed on. "I wonder if it's this east for everyone" she mused to herself with a bashful chuckle. Deep down she knew this was just the start. WurmpleName: Squiggy Gender: Male Level: 5 OT: Elena Rosser Moves: Tackle, String Shot, Poison Sting Ability: Shield Dust Nature/Personality: Wistful

<Halt! YOU MAY GO NO FURTHER YOU DASTARDLY FIEND!> It was always harsh out there when you were a pokemon, and it became even harsher in the winter when resources were scarce. That meant you had to defend your territory viciously to prevent anyone from intruding and stealing what food and other materials were available. Such was why a puffed up little pidgey swooped down, pecked at the human it saw and then landed on the footpath, wings flared, trying to make itself look as big as possible. It was a tough little bird. One of the toughest in the area. It had to be, living out here without a flock. So it wouldn't be scared or intimidated or otherwise thrust from its resolve, its heart and mind steeled by years of experience and survival. <Now begone before I make you!>
A [LV 8] Pidgey is defending its turf! What will you do? Shiny? mzo7IRQ9p_1-42Rare? p_1-6 Uncommon? p_1-3Level? p_2-81-42·1-6·1-3·2-8

Barely outside the town Elena's boast was put to the test. A tough looking bird stood like a monolithic boulder blocking her path. Their fierce gaze gave Elena a fright. Spinda was still outside of it's pokeball, since it was still holding the pokeball from earlier and did not seem to like the idea of returning to it's own. Eagerly it jumped forward and showed off a couple of it's moves, swiping claws until it spun around, nearly falling over in the process. Elena sighed, it seemed the fighter for this battle had been picked for her!
"Alright, you want a fight? You've got one! Ditz, do your thing!"
Ditz suddenly stopped in it's tracks, threw out it's pokeball and the wurmple from earlier appeared. Seeing the pidgey in front of it the wurmple immediately shrunk back.
What? Why? This isn't even a good match up! The wurmple whimpered out, attempting to hide behind the tangled feet of it's 'alleged' pokemon trainer. Spinda shrugged. You're my only pokemon so you have to win!
Elena sighed, seeing her newest, weakest pokemon drawn out to battle. Spinda seemed to be barking orders at it too, pointing at the pidgey as best as possible. She knew she had to take the initiative. "hey, don't worry little buddy! I won't let you lose! Just hit it and we'll win this for sure!"
Wurmple looked to the now two trainers telling it to rush into this death match. He began to inch forward with a heavy sigh before lunging forward to tackle his foe. What do I have to lose...

The mighty pidgey starteed to lick it's beak as soon as it saw Squiggy intending on making the bug into a fine meal. Rushing into a quick meal was not something it wanted to do however as toying with it's food was so much more fun and sportsmen like as Squiggy would at least have a small chance of escaping the menu today. Though Pidgey had decided to hold off a bit on using an aggressive approach it knew Wurmple were susceptible to being blinded by Sand Attack and so the avian Pokemon started to flap it's wings sending a pile of sand and snow directly into Squiggy's eyes. The young Wurmple had no hope of avoiding the incoming debris and within seconds his eyes were partially obstructed though not totally blinded by the attack. As sneaky as Pidgey had been it's plan had not worked quite as well as it had hoped as Squiggy was able to score a weak but direct hit with Tackle as Pidgey rested it's wings for a few moments. It was still a long way from a victory but for the time being Squiggy had gained a very slight edge over the Pidgey. With his vision reduced however that advantage could slip away at a moment's notice. Wild Encounter Weather: Clear [attr="class","qkt-bkgd"] [attr="class","qkt-wild-pkmn"] Pidgey LV 8 HP 85% [22/26]
