His journey started here. He wished it started in Olivine City instead. Sadly it was not to happen. Samuel gave a sigh and glanced to the poke'ball in hand. He was dictating wether or not to let out Drascurt for some air and to get to know him. He was still a little untrusting of poke'mon but he had to get through that.
Samuel gave a sigh, clutching the poke'ball in his hand. It was now or never.
"I have to get over my stupid fear or I'll never trust them. Besides they might not be so bad." Samuel threw the poke'ball sending Drascurt out. The poke'ball flew back into his hand and he pressed the button making it smaller, then clipping it to his belt.
Drascurt looked around in surprise and turned to face Samuel. "Chaar?" He tilted his head curiously. Was this boy going to start trusting him now? He could hear everything going on from his poke'ball. Drascurt folded his arms over his chest as if expecting an apology from Samuel.
Samuel put his hands out in front of him defensively. "I'm sorry. Okay? Now don't torch me." He said quickly.
Drascurt blew smoke from his mouth and whipped his head about as if to say, 'Yeah whatever. I guess your apology will have to do!'
Drascurt took a look around at his surroundings and uncrossed his arms. He pointed into the grass, and waved his tail to get Samuel's attention.
Samuel watched Drascurt. He wasn't really one to understand poke'mon that well but he guessed that he wanted to...Go train or something? "What are you pointing at? You want to train a bit before we leave?" He asked.
Okay that was half of what he wanted to do. He could've sworn he saw another poke'mon in the grass. Drascurt shrugged his shoulders. Communication was going to be difficult for now but he'll get his point across somehow. For now he'll just let the boy think that he wants to train. Training doesn't seem to be such a bad idea. Besides Samuel needs him. He needs to protect him and show him the ropes of being a trainer. Well not that he knows much about it himself but Drascurt was a quick learner. Yes this was going to be his ultimate mission. Hopefully they didn't get tired of each other though. Drascurt turned to face the grass and blew some more smoke from his mouth.
Samuel smiled. So far so good! This might not be so bad at all. "Alright. Uhm..." He rummaged around taking out a small guide book that his aunt had given him.
Drascurt looked back to Samuel. Did he just whip out a guide book? What the heck was he thinking? Seriously! Go by your instincts not the darn guide!! Drascurt snorted and yelled loudly. "Charmander, char!" He scratched at the air to get Samuel's attention. Would he just put away that STUPID book?!
Samuel gulped quietly, putting away the book. "Sorry sorry. I'm new at this. Uhm...Your using scratch right?" He asked.
Drascurt gave a nod. 'Come on will you command me already?!' Drascurt thought in irritation.
Samuel scratched his head slightly. "Okay...uhm... I believe you should know scratch and growl for now. Right? Well...Here goes nothing." Samuel pointed to the grass. "Use scratch on that patch of grass right there Drascurt!" He said.
Well that wasn't so hard of a command. Drascurt jumped up in the air just an inch from the ground and scratched at the blade of patch of grass in front of him. Did that please Samuel? He hoped so.
Samuel whooped loudly jumping up in the air, punching the air with his left fist slightly. "Alright, good job Drascurt!" He shouted happily.
