The Pokémon Pit

Welcome to one of the most unpleasant places in the Team Rocket Headquarters. Here they keep the stolen Pokémon that they have no longer have a use for. Most of these Pokémon have been abused, or cruelly experimented upon. Now that they have no use for the future of Team Rocket, they are sold in the Pit, and on the streets, to whoever will by them.

A list of Pokémon wanted by Team Rocket can also be found here. Members may steal the wanted Pokémon to earn Rocket Prestige and Slowpoke Tails but they are not allowed to keep the Pokémon.

OT: Thea Kensington Notes: Owner is a new trainer whose father is an important figure within the IPF. Steal the target from the budding officer to show just who they are fighting against. Requirements: - Participate in a battle with the subject. Rewards: - 10 Rocket Prestige and 1 Slowpoke Tail.

OT: Mute Street Busker (Name unknown) Notes: Owner of subject has been living in the streets all his life and will attempt to flee should he be approached by suspicious men. Either attempt to win his trust incognito or employ Pokemon with Odor Sleuth or similar hunting ability to track him down. Requirements: - Successfully use Odor Sleuth or describe tracking abilities. - Participate in battle with target. Rewards: - 15 Rocket Prestige and 1 Slowpoke Tail.

OT: James Harker (PC Expert) Notes: Owner of subject is an extreme recluse and will not leave home or readily admit visitors. You are advised to find a disguise which will permit entry--fast food delivery is suggested. Owner's home is possibly booby-trapped. Exert caution. Requirements: - Successfully use a disguise to infiltrate target's home. - Participate in battle with target. Rewards: - 15 Rocket Prestige and 1 Slowpoke Tail.

OT: Tony Dracone Notes: Owner of subject is the son of a Rocket Rival Gang who will undoubtedly come with backup. You are advised to hit and run. If followed, dispatch the grunts, or we will dispatch of you. Requirements: - Describe searching for the Rival gang. - Participate in battle with target. - Defeat or successfully flee from back up. Rewards: - 20 Rocket Prestige and 1 Slowpoke Tail.

OT: Li Shao Notes: Subject's trainer is well-versed in martial arts and will not hesitate to defend it. Stealth is advice in dealing with them. Use of hand-held weapon is suggested, preferably long-range or ranged melee if none are available. Requirements: - Describe finding and breaking into home. - Participate in battle with target. - Defeat or successfully flee from trainer. Rewards: - 20 Rocket Prestige and 1 Slowpoke Tail.

OT: Mike Digman Notes: Subject can be found deep within Union Cave. Trainer is known to be expert explorer and will use cave tunnels to their advantage. Recommended to bring a Pokemon which can cause possible wild encounters to flee as trainer has multiple Pokemon. Requirements: - Use Roar or defeat Nosepass blocking the way. - Describe travelling through tunnels. - Defeat target. (2 Pokemon - Dugtrio + random ground extra) Rewards: - 30 Prestige and 1 Tail.

Aipom Name: N/A Gender: Female Level: 21 Location: Route 33

OT: N/A Notes: A well respected client has requested a rare Aipom which can be found on Route 33. Use Headbutt on trees to find target. Rangers are known to patrol the area often and will likely interfere. When delivering the target to client, make sure not to be followed. Requirements: - Use Headbutt on tree to find an Aipom. (Up to 3 encounters) - Defeat interfering Ranger. - Successfully deliver to client. Rewards: - 30 Prestige and 1 Tail.

Yanma Name: Shannon Gender: Female Level: 25 Location: Route 33

OT: Ralph Hackett Notes: Trainer of target is known to be well trained with Bug Pokemon and is known to ward away enemies with strong odours. Spends most time researching in the local Pokemon Centre, so will need to be tempted outside for theft attempt. Requirements: - Find a way to make the trainer exit the Pokemon Centre and then draw them to a secluded area to avoid interruptions. - Defeat target. (Yanma) - Successfully flee into Ilex without being spotted. - Defeat target who will track you down, again. (+2 random bug Pokemon) Rewards: - 35 Prestige and 2 Tails.

Electrode Name: N/A Gender: Genderless Level: 29 Location: Ilex Forest (Putrid Swamp)

OT: N/A Notes: A valuable test subject escaped into Putrid Swamp within Ilex. Rangers have surrounded it but it is sensitive and interaction may cause explosion. Act quickly and retrieve subject safety. Requirements: - Find Electrode trapped in swamp. - Defeat Ranger (2 Pokemon) within 10 turns. - Find a way to rescue Electrode from the swamp. - On the way back to Goldenrod there may be wild encounters. (3 encounters with a max limit of 5 turns each (15 total) before Electrode explodes) Rewards: - 35 Prestige and 2 Tails.

Cleffa* Name: Trinity Gender: Female Level: 1 Location: Route 34 (Day Care)

OT: Sylvia Le Grand Notes: The target is a newly bred, rare shiny and must be captured for research purposes. Currently being held at Day Care centre, must be taken before original trainer returns. Target must not be harmed, status effects such as Sleep are recommended. Requirements: - Sneak into Day care successfully. - Search the house to find key for back room. (3 attempts/8 possibilities) - Find subject in room and take. Sing etc. recommended. - Sneak out of Daycare successfully. (Can otherwise trigger double battle 1/2 chance.) - Make way back to Goldenrod HQ. (Randomised encounter of Police, Trainer or Whitney.) Rewards: - 40 Prestige and 2 Tails.

Bellossom Name: Lyn Gender: Female Level: 28 Location: Goldenrod City Florist

OT: Julian Meller Notes: Target has unusual spore abilities, caution advised. Target's trainer usually found in local Florist and is last to leave. Wait somewhere close by for a successful ambush. Requirements: - Find a place to hide to successfully ambush florist. (3/5 correct possibilities) - Defeat target in battle. (+1 random grass type) - Subject will try to flee. (Follow: 3/5 correct possibilites) - Will find but attacked by local bikers. (3 trainer battles, 2 Pokemon each) - With bikers out of the way, subdue trainer and take target. Rewards: - 40 Prestige and 2 Tails.

Exeggutor Name: N/A Gender: Female Level: 31 Location: National Park

OT: N/A Notes: Target can be found roaming National Park and must be captured for it's unique psychic abilities. Can only be found during daylight so infiltrate in a disguise to lower suspicion. When subdued, bring back to base. Requirements: - Use a disguise to enter the National Park, gardener recommended. - Use the move Cut to search for target in tall grass. - Battle the subject. (Win within 5 turns) - Use the move Sweet Scent or other means to lure Exeggutor out of National Park. - Youngster will want to battle, accept to avoid suspicion. (Exeggutor must be used, may be disobedient and ignore orders.) Rewards: - 45 Prestige and 2 Tails.

Jynx Name: Brandia Gender: Female Level: 35 Location: Route 37

OT: Karl Szanto Notes: Target belongs to traitorous Team Rocket which needs to be secured along with trainer. Skilled in fighting and firearms, exercise extreme caution. Will attack at slightest hint of danger. Secluded so no chance of interference but very untrusting and unwelcoming. House and surrounding area likely booby trapped. Requirements: - Use a Pokemon who would follow scents to find Ex-Rocket hideaway. - Infiltrate via stealth or negotiation. (3/5 chances) - Defeat in battle. (Jynx + 2 random Pokemon) - Subject will flee, pursuit and subdue. (3/5 chances) - Successfully return to Route 37 without being caught in traps. (2/3 chances) Rewards: - 45 Prestige and 2 Tails.

Bastiodon Name: Bulldozer Gender: Male Level: 38 Location: Ecruteak City

OT: Ralph Walker Notes: Target belongs to eccentric trainer. House is armed with traps and trails that you must complete to reach the end. Once there, defeat target and escape. Target is known to enjoy risks and teasing but may call for backup if pushed into a corner. Requirements: - Find a way to enter the house without being spotted from the outside. - Once inside, complete the 5 trails given. - Once fifth trail is completed, use Rock Smash to find hidden room. - Defeat target (2 Pokemon) within 10 turns. - Escape before alerted police arrive. Rewards: - 50 Prestige and 2 Tails.
