Like I said, if you had $20-$40, what would you buy? Don't name just one item, give me a list. o.o
The reason I'm doing this is because I've been reading up a lot on eBay, and I have a really good plan to make some actual money. Only this is, I'm kind of at a loss of what to buy and sell.
>_> So I need your help by giving me suggestions. My idea was to sell video games/movies, but there is already so many of them being sold so I'd have to compete and possibly lose money on the whole ordeal. So, any ideas?

Hmmm interesting question. The first thing i'd be most likely to go out and buy is video games but seeing your comments that's moot point. :<
One other thing I wouldn't mind getting for that price is band tshirts maybe. Like the hard to get kind or something. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to get some Iron Maiden shirts these days. That and records in the form of CD/Tape/Vinyl are always another look out for me. The thing is with music collections is; there's a market out there for 'em.
Same goes for video games but you just need to acquire some really REALLY uncommon games to get the full profit from.

Straight off the bat, I would say collector's selection of certain toys and figures or memorabilia. Things like first edition or limited Transformers from the first or second or BW gen in very good condition at reasonable prices tend to get snapped up very fast on Ebay I believe. Anime collectibles from discontinued though popular franchises franchises (like Osamu Tezuka's works) would also garner my attention besides being in relatively high demand. On the more conventional scale, comics and art books in good condition would also do., or perhaps box sets of (again) popular but discotinued series (ie Gargoyles, SWAT KATZ and the likes).

Those are both good ideas. *is thinking* >_> The problem would be acquiring these things... such as the discontinued collections/items or hard-to-find band t's. Don't want to pay more than I sell it for.

Seeing as how Call of Duty World at War is on Sale for like $30-$40 dollars right now that may be an option and then sell it for full retail. You could also buy some packs of pokemon cards and hope you get one worth a good amount of money. You could also try selling older pokemon items if you found them since they tend to be worth quite a bit.If I come up with any more ideas I will edit this post.

Don't want to pay more than I sell it for. My tip? Charity shops. That's if you have them in abundance as my area does. Seriously, there are like forty charity shops in the main town centre. Still, for an example. I went in there, trawling through all the CD collections they had (While giving the old volunteer grannies a heart attack mind you, I looked pretty geared up that day with my attire) and found an Iron Maiden single. Be Quick Or Be Dead to be precise. It was £1. ONE POUND. I bought it up in a heartbeat and then checked on eBay and they're going for a standard selling rate of £30 easily. Don't be afraid to buy stuff off of eBay too. Sometimes you can snag some REALLY good deals and then sell off again for a huge profit. You just gotta keep your eyes peeled really.

Quite true. We lack a lot of decent charity shops, we have Good Will's scattered here and there but finding something good is like looking for the needle in a haystack. Although I did find an adorable dress there. m--m That's a great idea though, I'd never thought of checking shops like those. Thanks so much!

Came up with some new ones. For one there is a minature stratigy game called Axis and Allies minatures in which some single models are worth the $8 to $12 it cost to get a new box of figures. Quite a few websites sell singles such as the King Tiger tank for $8 or moore which means if you get luck you can get quite a bit of money from 1 box. Also buying items at flea markets you can get good deals and then seel online and make a good amount of money. Other non computer games such as Warhammer 40K and Magic the Gathering sets can have models worth quite a bit of money as well so long as you get money.

Mrow, I never did get around to this. o.o Maybe I'll save up some money, like 1K or so, won't take too long with the job and all, then go flea market searching.
