Leonardo | Level 5 | Health : 35% Status : ATK -1 -VS- Saphira | Level 7 | Health : 36%| Status : Def. -2 " Don't forget to breath, everyone." Nadia spoke into the field of battle. Looking at her, she looked... perfectly calm now. She had stopped being in such a deep thought now and finally, only her arms now gently criss-crossing over one another. She was rhythmically tapping her finger on her arm like how a person might tap their foot to music. " Have you ever gone to school? And I mean Trainer's school." Nadia asked over to Tanny. " If you didn't, then you really missed out. I heard there's a great school in Violet City... Earl's Pokemon Academy. Maybe when this is over, you should pay them a visit." Nada seemed to be way off the ball. Right in the middle of battle, she was talking about school? The way she spoke, it seemed like she was rather interested in it herself, like she might decide to visit. Wonder why she was mentioning something like that now of all the times...? The battle was getting heated now. Maybe she was trying to help calm down her opponents with a topic change. " Oh... and Leonardo, another Tackle attack." Leonardo didn't seem to be in as good of a condition as Saphira, either. His underbelly was becoming red with scratch marks and his eyes winced a little bit with every attack taken in. Even in between, he still winced... this was starting to hurt. But he never held his breath and he never looked back. Though he was obviously hurting, it looked like he was trying to mimic his trainer's attitude a little. Hurt, but remaining rather calm and not saying anything, nor trying to show weakness. He still had a ways to go, but it was still evident of his effort. This was a new Pokemon, but he was already trying to mimic Nada's antics...? Wonder what happened before? Regardless, Leonardo made his way to Saphira again for another leaping Tackle attack.

Tanya watched the battle intently, emerald eyes blazing like green fire. She was trying to remain as calm and collected as Nadia, but she couldn't stop herself. Her hands shook, beads of sweat rolled down her neck, and occasionally she'd gasp as her body reminded herself she needed to breathe.
When the other girl spoke, Tanya jerked as if she'd been startled. So lost in the battle. Tanya's expression became perplexed as she pondered over the question. "No, I don't think so. Might stop by if time allows it," she said, half to herself, half in response. The majority of her attention was given to the battle and how Saphira was faring.
Saphira groaned as Leonardo tackled her again, air exploding from her lungs. She panted, one eye closed in a grimace. Both Pokemon were in rough shape, ready to pretty much keel over, but they still had fight left. Tanya wanted to run in and just scoop up her Charmander, but something in the way Saphira held herself stopped her.
Nodding quickly, she clasped both hands behind her head and let her posture ease into one of relaxation. "Keep up those great Scratch attacks, Saphy!" Tanya called, watching as her determined partner ran on sturdy legs to throw another slash at the Squirtle's stomach.

That was plenty enough. Though Leonardo hasn't technically fainted, he still just couldn't take any more of the scratches. After the last series of scratches, his inexperience has caught up with him when he just took a tumble onto his stomach forward. He then just laid there, moaning a little bit. He looked completely exhausted now. He still had the ability to get up and fight, to finish this thing off... from physical standards, even if he was completely worn. But mentally, he just didn't want to do it anymore. He was on the brink of fainting and he didn't want to deal with it anymore. He pretty much submitted.
"Tuuuurl..." he groaned softly.
Nada didn't really react much to it. She still had her arms crossed, sucking in her cheek a little bit. She was mulling something over in her head... probably thinking of the battle. After a few moments of Leonardo just lying there, Nada finally took back out the Pokeball that belonged to Leonardo and withdrew him. She then stared at the Pokeball.
"...well, can't win them all." She said. She tried to remain cool the entire time, but her tone of voice did have a ring of disappointment to it. She then kissed the Pokeball and whispered something to it that nobody else could hear, but probably telling Leonardo that he tried anyway. Putting away the Pokeball, she looked back across the battle field. Her face then lit up.
Looks like I lost!" she said gleefully. "That was an excellent battle! Given the circumstances, it all worked out pretty well, wouldn't you say?" She was being a rather good sport about the loss. Wonder how she could go from a moment of sullenness to suddenly much being all rainbows and lollipops?

As Leonardo collapsed, Saphira herself sank to her bottom, legs splayed out much like a toddler's. Her eyes were shut, and her breathing was irregular. "Oh honey!" Tanya called out, rushing forwards and falling to her knees to hug her exhausted partner. Saphira blinked, staring at her trainer with a hesitant look in her eyes.
Tanya smiled warmly. "You did amazing, Saphira. I'm proud of you," she said in a voice full of pride. Saphira grinned tiredly before Tanya retrieved a ball from her bag and recalled her Charmander. Rising back up slowly so not to disturb the Hoppip still on her shoulder, Tanya smiled at Nada.
"It was a great battle... should teach both Pokemon something... although I don't know what exactly!" she admitted with a sheepish smile, cheeks turning pink. Running a hand through her auburn hair, Tanya turned to Tyler. "Just battle some wild Pokemon and your Bulbasaur will grow a lot stronger. It's just a little bit patience, and a little bit of love," the girl said calmly, patting the ball with Saphira contained inside of it before placing it in her bag again.
She rolled her shoulders; a little nervous habit. "So uh... what next?" she hedged, wondering what else there was to do now that the friendly battle was out of the way.

"Well, I don't know about you two..." Nadia said with a reply. "But I think you two should do the same as what I'm about to, and that's finding a Pokemon Center!" She threw her hand bag over her shoulder and approached the other two. "If I recall correctly, there should be just a little itty bitty one near here... I think. I may have read my map wrong. But I still know there is a place near here that'll heal injured Pokemon, so that sounds like a Pokemon Center to me!"
Nadia then looked back in the little field and noticed she still had some of her things scattered on the ground. She couldn't forget about these items, either. Nights would sure be cold without her sleeping back, certainly. So she hurried over and began to pack away her belongings. This would take a little bit to do, obviously.
