Poor Mareep hadn't stood a chance in hell against the higher-leveled Buizel. The Poké Ball sprang open as it rebounded off of the Mareep's woolly body, sucking in the fallen sheep with a beam of light.

It felt to the ground and twitched for a moment before stopping. It was so weak it couldn't even put up a fight... Alena stared resentfully at the little button on the sphere as it blinked once and faded out.

Denied yet another meal... sigh. Sana didn't really care about the capture, unlike her comrade, and was shooting celebratory jets of water into the air. One eye slid over to the sulking Alena, and a mischievous grin slid into place. The Buizel turned to face her new target and inhaled deeply.

She lurched forwards and sent a spray of water crashing into Alena's face. As Alena hissed in shock and tossed her head around, Sana burst into laughter and fell over.

The Ekans' golden eyes locked dangerously on the thick-headed Buizel with pure fury radiating in their depths. Jaws snapping open, Alena hurled herself at Sana with a loud, vehement hiss. Sana yelped and dodged out of the way, running about wildly while Alena snapped at her heels.

Looked like these two would never play nice.

Ability: Static
Nature/Personality: Rayna is well behaved and always gives everything her best shot. While she possesses great strength, she is far from boastful about it. She’s not necessarily shy but she likes to keep things to herself all the same. Rayna can often be forgotten about due to the other Pokémon who demand more attention. This doesn’t necessarily bother her as she often finds her own way along. Rayna is well respected by others due to her tolerant personality. Her intelligence often gets her out of sticky situations.

Alena rolled her eyes again as she saw her trainer’s smug grin. The amount of Pokémon he was capturing was ridiculous. He couldn’t possibly use them all so she saw no point whatsoever in having them. The poor snake felt abandoned as she saw her trainer fuss over another new Pokémon. She glared resentfully as Andrew scooped the orb up and congratulated his Buizel.

“Sana, you were awesome!” Andrew chirped. The Buizel grinned, realising that she’d done something right. She dashed over to her trainer and lunged at him, knocking him to the ground. Andrew laughed as he sat up and rubbed Sana’s head. “Well, at least you’re still full of energy. Come on, let’s get moving.” he smiled. Andrew reached for a second Poké Ball. The usual confused look returned to Sana’s face as she disappeared back into the globe.

“Whoa, this is great.” Andrew realised. “I’m going to call you Rayna!” Andrew announced to the Poké Ball, having already picked out the name. He stared at the newly inhabited sphere with admiration. He already knew that Rayna would be a regular member of his team. Violet City would give him plenty of time to train her. Once both her and Ruffle had gained enough experience, he’d have no problem taking down Falkner’s Flying-Types.

Andrew then finally noticed Alena. The Ekans was already beginning to dislike Sana as the Buizel drew a lot of attention to herself. If she didn’t watch her back, then she might soon be replaced. Once she was sure that Andrew had spotted her, the serpent turned around hastily and slithered away towards Violet City. It was time she redeemed herself again.
“ Hey! Alena, wait! What now?!” Andrew, still clueless of what exactly the Ekans wanted, had no choice but to follow her. He quickly gathered up everything and followed Alena into Violet City.
