A large recording studio can be found on this floor. Normally off-limits to visitors, various talk shows including Professor Oak's Talk Show are recorded here. Professor Oak's Talk Show
|
Once every couple of months Professor Oak's Talk show is aired on 92.5. During this show, the Professor tells the audience about his recent field work. One of Oak's favourite topics is Mass Out Breaks; also known as Swarms.
Mass Out Breaks are when a particular Pokemon is seen in an area it normally can't be found in. So, make sure you pay attention to what and where Prof. Oak talks about so you can bag yourself some rarer pokémon!

"This is the Professor Oak Talk Show, the number ONE place for all knowledge! I'm Dj Mary, tonight's host, and joining us is the one and only Professor Oak. He's here to bring us the latest and greatest of what's happening out there in the world of Pokemon!
"Now we'll get onto the broadcast. Oak?"
"Good evening Mary, and a thanks to all you trainers out there who have tuned in! I better get started."
"A perfect start to spring, Cherrygrove is going to have a bunch of busy workers helping out their flowers. Combee love collecting honey and bringing them back to their Vespiquen. They're quite adorable at night all cozied up together. A sight many bug catchers in the area won't want to miss out on!"
"Another pokemon to brighten up the turn of the seasons is a certain fairy pokemon those Aroma Ladies like to utilize: Flabébé. They pair with single flower their entire lives. This bond is a mutual draw and give of power, as the chosen flower will bloom forever and is also the only way Flabébé can manifest any of its power."
"More on the brusque side of our swarms this round is a very rare fire type. Heatmor is an anteator pokemon that, you guessed it, hunts Durant! Their fire is so hot it does more to steel than just some uncomfortable warping, it can melt right through. But the most interesting part of their fire is that it's actually their tongue!"
"Thank you very much for those brief descriptions Professor Oak! We hope that the news of these monthly swarms is exciting to all you trainers out there. Remember to journey safely, and stay tuned! But for now, this is Dj Mary, signing off."
