Journey Review for Faction Credits

Characters who have joined Team Rocket (TR) or the International Police Force (IPF) are eligible to earn merit/prestige/currency for factions within their regular journey by representing themselves well within the story of the thread.

If you feel your thread should qualify for this bonus but was not awarded as such by a moderator don't hesitate to use the request form to request a second look.


In order to be considered, there are some key notes to be followed:

⛓ The TR agent or IPF officer must represent themselves according to their faction. This means that they should be performing relevant tasks associated with their faction.

⛓ It must be more than the generic wild and NPC encounters. Simply making a kid cry because you beat them in a battle or taking on a wild encounter to defend an NPC wouldn't cut it. There should be active story development that demonstrates you representing your faction well.

Examples
TR members could consider any number of crimes to help them represent their faction well. Some ideas to consider:

⛓ Breaking and Entering. Describe your character breaking into a house or business. Rocket agent will have to deal with the consequences presented to them by the mod(s) that handle their threads.

⛓ Petite or Grand Theft. Describe your character stealing items from a citizen, store, or organization. Mods may give chase to the criminal in the form of unique NPC officers that the TR agent must fend off. Grand Theft Auto is a good place to start if you're brave enough.

⛓ Rob a bank! What criminal hasn't tried this one before?!

IPF officers could investigate reports made by local citizens, perform wellness checks on individuals, or arrest criminals in the middle of an active crime scene. Some scenarios to consider:

⛓ Arrest a TR Grunt in the middle of an active crime scene! This may require going undercover and gathering clues to prove who the criminals are. Or, it could be spotting an active crime scene, tracking the criminals down, battling, and arresting the Rocket members and taking them to jail.

⛓ Answer a Wellness Check Call! Sometimes citizens will make calls to report suspicious activity or to inform officers of someone that they're worried about within the community.

⛓ Resolve a domestic dispute! Perhaps two newlyweds were reported by their neighbors? Even if it's not an active crime scene, officers may be called in to settle disputes within their communities and to help keep the peace between the citizens of their local communities
