Okay, so maybe half of you really won't care as much as I do about this since you're not Americans like I am, but after nearly ten god damn years, we've finally killed Osama bin Laden. That ***** who was responsible for the 9/11 attacks in 2001, we've finally accomplished what we set out to do, but lost track of while we enjoyed some activities on the side.Anyhoo, Osama is dead. Took longer than what it took us to put an end to WWII, but we finally did it. news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_bin_laden

Did you just imply that Osama Bin Ladin bombed America 10 years ago and just sat there twiddling his thumbs in a cave for 10 years? No, he decided to bomb the rest of us. Anyway, yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.

I was just watching a good movie when my mum texted me about it not long after Obama gave his speech..
And I just grinned at the TV watching everyone cheer at the White House. Yay for killing that ugly bombing *****!

It's a bit surreal really, after all these years too. If anything the guy deserves hide and seek champion of the decade. I just wish people wouldn't keep touting the idea that with him gone all terrorism is going to suddenly disappear over night. He isn't some single evil masterminded Bond villain. If anything, some other schmuck is going to step up to the plate.

Precisely. It's like giving them a whole round of ammunition. Okay so were behind the deaths of many people around the world but hunting down this guy and slaughtering him like so is going to have them turn around and go: "YOU KILL ONE OF US, WE KILL YOU BACK!" Eh it's all stupid. Then there is also the fact this makes him a martyr of sorts so that other deluded fools can flock to the cause. Sometimes I wonder if the greatest insult you can do unto an enemy is to ignore them as if they were nothing.

Retaliation is also probably one of the reasons they won't release the photo of his body, from what I heard.
At least they killed the dude. *shrug* And I don't see any reason why people would doubt that he's dead because they wouldn't lie about his death so easily, even if they wanted to use it as a reason to induce more of a sense of safety into people.

I'd much prefer if they took him alive, tbh. We'd be able to get information from him. He's useless to us now.
