That's what I thought when I first saw it. Pokémon Grey may include it, though??? (lol, we seem to really be filling Grey with a lot of stuff!)

We can only hope they include at least a few of the things we've suggested. Some of them I can easily see being in there in some way, shape or form. The director cut versions are usually crammed to the seems with extra content. Playing Pearl after Platinum felt a bit awkward. D:
Oh and another Pokemon I have bit of a gripe with is Kyurem. He's great and all but he looks so frail. Like a frozen turkey or something. I still like his typing, moves and all that but it's just one thing I look at and can't take seriously.

we've discussed Kyurem together quite a bit but I will reiterate that I agree with you 100%.
I really don't like Meloetta's sprite but her Pirouette forme is just plain FABULOUS.

I found another thing i'm not too fond of battling wise. Heatmor is a very cool concept but it's pretty ironic that even though its an anteater and it TOTALLY devastates the ant Pokemon Durant; Durant is far more useful competitively. Heatmor is obviously designed as a mixed sweeper but its so crap in its stats that its outdone by everything. Plus the fact its highest stat is Sp.Atk and you can only really learn two special attacks for different type coverage makes it very, VERY poor indeed. It's a shame too... You looked damn cool.

Picking one specifically should be hard... DARMANITAN!It's just its design, its face... its eyes. Can't stand it. Makes me want to vomit. No. Get it out of my game. That *was* my initial reaction to the Chesire ape nightmare as well until you start using it and then it sorta becomes crazy awesome, with more crazy than awesome. I mean if you wanted a psycho team to unerve the unholy hell out of someone just by looking at them, you put that on the frontlines. Then give it another shit-eating Glasgow Grin for good measure. On the subject, I'm actually not a big fan of Druddigon's design. It just looks all sorts of hacked up to me, made worse by the apparent fact that the wings are practically useless so you're got something that looks more like a candy-colored Godzilla instead of an actual dragon.

Druddigon has been a weird Pokemon for me. My initial perception of it was that of dislike. As you say, the extreme contrast on it just seems a bit out of place and the fact the wings are just for show doesn't help but having used him some and gotten used to him I actually have bit of a soft spot for it. Sure it's underclassed when compared to just about every other dragon type in existence (Preeeetty much) but I like the way it moves in battle. It's arms are just so stiff. Like to think of him as bit of a gargoyle Pokemon too considering all his Pokedex entries make note of his rough rocky skin. Nice to have a mono-Dragon type too I guess. Just wish he had a bit more going for him the poor sod.

Can't help but notice we are picking a wide variety of 5th Gen Pokemon to hate upon. So, I present this as a generalized opinion.

Honestly, I think the designs have been gravitating towards extremes- back in 1st gen, I thought pretty much everything was okay (although I've always considered Lickitung pretty ugly, and love Oddish). As time has passed, though, there have been more and more designs where I was either loving them instantly or wondering what the creators of these things were smoking.
For 5th gen, I again really don't like the legendaries (though I love a lot of the pseudo-legendaries like Volcarona for instance), but I think the champion ugly-looking pokemon has to be Stunfisk.
The Durrs are derpy, watchog is creepy, and the element monkeys are just saddening, but stunfisk is so... so....
Just eugh.

I think I can one up all the currently mentioned nominees with this little WTF critter right here. Audino the most messed up pokemon I have even seen. It is like the took the sprites of Miltank, Chansey/Blissey and who knows what and hit the random button using parts from those pokemon. I am surprised no one mentioned this thing yet. Here is a link with it's back sprite as well as it's shiny sprite pokemondb.net/sprites/audino

D'awww, I actually really like Audino. I can actually agree with you though, March, it is pretty much a scramble of things thrown together. But then again, I'm a fan of those normal, pink, cute looking Pokes. I just cant help it. xP
Hmm, but as for worst Pokemon... It's actually a pretty hard decision. I thought a majority of them were unbearable to look at or use at first but as I played the game more I ended up liking almost much all of them. Well, I say almost because there is a trio I cant stand more than anything and that is the monkeys, their evolved forms especially;
I mean, what is going on. D: Comparing these to something like Darmantian, which is both cute in its own way and just overall amazing (I swear I completed the entire game with him) is just wrong. To me, they are useless and shouldnt be there.

And ring-tailed lemurs. Putting monkeys in to Pokemon then making them represent the elements, that is cross the line! They should be cats, elemental cats! By, the way, I like Darmanitan, looking at it makes me giggle and puts a smile on my face.

I actually use the Monkeys on my team even though I do not like their design. The Fire Monkey helped quite a bit in the Ice Gym along with Klang. I will admit the element part of them is kind of weird but they are actually pretty good when they reach lv50 even though their are better pokemon of their types by that point. I have been thinking of replacing them but so far I have not gotten anything worth while to replace them with and they get the job done plus I do like how they tried to go with a different style for a money unlike Infernape which that thing just scares my with those eyes.

The monkeys do have some use I suppose. Whichever starter you pick, the trio gym leaders at the start will have a type advantage over you so it's nice that the monkey you get then has an advantage over the gym leader. Means you have to train it up a little but either way after that I can't quite see them having much else use due to again, being outclassed by everyone and their mother. Speaking competitively, they might have some use (Water/Fire ape) as somewhat decent Nasty Plot uses with berry activation due to their Gluttony ability. Other than that very lacklustre. When I saw the Gamefreak employee had all three and was supposedly meant to be one of the strongest trainers in the game I did have to yawn a bit. Sure he's strong level wise but it's easy to just steam roll all over him. Hm... Might have been an idea to have another Eevee like Pokemon where you start off with a normal monkey and then evolve into one of three types.
