So I hear you saying "BUT JOE, THEY'VE BEEN IN PREVIOUS GENERATIONS BEFORE B&W" well one interesting point I found out about some of the in-games trades for Black and White is that the Pokemon you trade over, you can then get a chance to fight later on in the post-game content. An example of this is in Nacrene City with that Lass who wanted a Cottonee or Petilil. Once you come back after the Elite 4 she has it fully evolved and is looking to battle you. I think another example can be found in Driftveil. Either way, it's a pretty cool feature that I wish they did a bit more with. Oh and you can trade a Ditto for Rotom in some caravan.

Is that the caravan on the route with Trubbish is in it? I remember people were talking about that caravan outside it but when I went in to have a natter, there was nothing interesting going on - guess it must be a post-E4 moment.
Still, that sounds amazing! Being able to battle your own pokémon after trading it over! I'd end up acting as if my pokémon was really huffy with me over the whole thing and end up writing a big emotional storyline in my head over the course of the battle.
