A fair few new additions were made to the series and most of them were definitely welcome. In terms of new moves, I really, REALLY applaud them for making Sludge Wave. My new favourite Poison type move. Now just make Poison effective on some more types and we'll be best buddies forever, Gamefreak. ;D Other than that, Shell Smash is another new favourite. It's got huge potential for sweeping. Oh and I can't go without mentioning Zekrom and Reshiram's signature moves. It's always worthwhile watching it cause mayhem. Ability wise, i'm definitely liking the look of Contrary. Shame it's just too limited. Sheer Force sounded good too but it's not as exceptional as people first made it out to be. Illusion is also right up my street. I've used it extensively so far and it can cause so much confusion. Mummy also deserves a lot of credit for being able to shut down some annoying opponent abilities. And as for items... Phew. What's with all these gems?! I do enjoy stuff like Air Balloon and the Red Card/Red Button items. Makes for a hasty getaway if needs be. I noticed there's not been as many items added in for this one but in all honesty, it's become very fine tuned.

SEARING SHOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT Victitty move, base 100 power and accuracy. Hits everything. > I finally got to see the boosted animation for Fusion Flare and Bolt and I immensely enjoyed it, also I hope to see Blue Fire and the kick ass move Zekrom learns at Level 100 at some point. Mummy, Cursed Body, Moxie and Contrary are easily some of the best abilities inputted this generation. Moxie really suits its name, sometimes I don't want to swap out my Scrafty because of a second attack boost (I enjoy spamming Bulk Up) and it was part of the reason I murdered Ghetsis. The others are just plain cool too (when not used against you xD) Items eh? Red Balloon and Rocky Helmet. The latter is really nice to add an extra oomph to a defensive minded Pokémon so they can take hits while bulking up and still put some hurt out.

I put a Rocky Helmet on my Joltik because it amused me to imagine a spider wearing a helmet... I'm very funny, I know.
I have yet to see moves like Fusion Bolt/Flare together. When I was battling N, I was vaguely aware that there would be a change to the attack if both were used but I didn't get the opportunity to use it. HOW EPIC WAS IT?

DUN DUN DUNNN! I knew I was forgetting an item. Rocky Helmet is brilliant on a Pokemon with Rough Skin. Just saps away the health before you know it. It's definitely a welcome addition.
Fusion Bolt/Flare together is amazing. I suspect there's a Youtube clip festering about but i'm too lazy to go get it. It definitely adds a sense of climax to the battle when it's used. A bit like Arceus' Judgement.
