The sudden appearance of the strange trainer had been quite a shock to both the Farfetch'd and Tangela. What had been a happy, playful moment had turned into a heated battle. And now, of course, Fatfetch'd was squelched leaving nothing but the standard wild Pokemon around the bright Vale Catherine was wandering around in. Given her hints, the second Farfetch'd couldn't possibly be here with all the bustling Pokemon during the day. Not many noctournal species called this part of the forest home. It was one of the greatest places to play and sun, after all. Tangela knew this well as the wild Pokemon peered from the safety of the undergrowth and brush. So why was the human still here? Curiously, Tangela's tendrilesque appendages slunk forward in an attempt to stop the wandering trainer. If Tangela could stall long enough, the Farfetch'd could be awoken and allowed to flee. Then their game could continue! After all, Tangela was winning. So, this was the plan as Tangela wrapped it's tendrils around Catherine's ankle. Once Tangela had a firm grip, more tendrils grappled at the pokeballs at her belt in an attempt to bat them away. Couldn't have those getting in the way and knocking poor Tangela out, right? Tangela just wanted to play, nevermind the fact Catherine could quite possibly be freaking out at the tentacles wrapping around her ankles. The Wild Tangela Appeared! (Level 10)Please proceed here to battle.

With practically all her Pokemon out and standing by her side, the group watched in wonder as the Quick Ball was thrown for the air, encapsulating the wild Tangela. It was certainly a rare and unique looking Pokemon to Catherine, her emerald green eyes wide and glistening as as watched each and every rock of the ball. Hoping to become friends with these usually hidden species, her wish of endless friendships were about to happen. Rolling to a stop but not bursting free, it took a few moments for what had happened to sink in but as usual, Catherine was always the first to react. Throwing her hands in the air whilst wearing a beaming grin, she let out a rather child like "YAAAY!" as she skipped forward to claim the ball. "I guess that Tangela really did wanna be friends! Now, we can travel together too! Welcome to the family, okay?" Smiling down at the reflective surface, she hurriedly put the ball away to ensure that it remained safe.
"Okay everyone! Let's contin... You? AAH!" Gasping mid sentence, as the girl turned on the spot to rally up her Pokemon, she noticed that one particular was giving off a bit of a light show. The tiny body of Ayesha lighting up with a bright glow, it was enough for both Catherine and the rest of her Pokemon to shield their eyes until the transformation of the fairy was complete. Lowering her hand, Catherine's eyes took a moment to readjust, widening at the new form of her Pokemon, or what she had learned from the Kalos Festival information guides, a Floette. "Woah! Ayesha! You look so...!" Spinning elegantly on the spot, Ayesha looked down across her own form. Although still very small, she had formed a bit more of a body, giving her a bit more room to manoeuvre however she wanted. Swinging the flower that she continued to carry, she looked over to Catherine and gave her a chirp of acknowledgement, gleefully. "So. CUTE!" Fawning over her newest addition, it was Yumina who had literally bounced over to inspect the Floette when Catherine remembered... She needed to collect the second Farfetch'd!
"O-Oh no! We need to go and find Syl's other Pokemon!" Nodding his head ever so slowly from her shoulder, Atlas was feeling a bit low with all this jumping and running around. Smiling widely, she took a moment to withdraw some of her Pokemon who may have been tired and tried to think back on Sylvester's words. "A place where Nocturnal Pokemon sleep? Okay! Let's go deeper into the forest!"

With one Farfetch'd captured and returned to Sylvester, now Alex was tasked with finding the second one. This area was particualrly lit by sunlight, as he felt warm and sweaty just from the combination of walking and the warm air heated by the sun. He decided to continue walking though, as he don't want Sylvester to wait for too long. The Ilex Forest was just longer to walk than he thought. Even though he was feeling tired, he smiled as he watched his Pokemon enjoying the nature that seemed like home. He walked casually and looked around every few steps to make sure that he didn't miss the Farfetch'd. Or maybe he haven't seen it yet because he just entered this sweaty forest area?

Cold eyes leered from the depths of a tall shrubbery, keeping watch of its surroundings. So far...so good. This bird was quite confident the idiot boy couldn't find it this far. The Farfetch'd figured it could at least enjoy some quiet time alone without the young apprentice barking useless orders at it. Really, it was as if the boy expected the bird to have infinite stamina as well as patience to do what he wanted. Cutting down trees was obviously not a huge feet for this bird, but the avian didn't exactly appreciate spit and obnoxious yelling in its eardrums from some new kid that the old man probably found in some street. The Farfetch'd gave a small chuckle, amused by the fact that the young boy was probably becoming frantic trying to find it. It wasn't about to return anytime soon though, not when it had the whole forest to lounge around. Suddenly, the snap of the twig alerted the bird. Eyes locked ahead, the Farfetch'd spotted a human making his way through the trees, almost as if he was searching for something. The Farfetch'd grinded its beak in irritation, not exactly enjoying the fact that a human was just stumbling around, creating a ruckus and disturbing its relaxation time. The Farfetch'd figured he could probably scare the kid away, perhaps show him some of his "cutting-edge" moves that could send him scurrying away. Now determined, the avian picked up its leek and gave a mighty swing across the tall shrub, cutting it cleanly in half as well as revealing itself to Alex, letting out a mighty squawk and hoping the show as enough to startle Alex away. Sylvester's Farfetch'd (Level 20) has appeared! Battle Here

With the Farfetch'd defeated and covered in an immobile ball of silk, Alex figured his quest was done here. Holding the Spinarak with both hands, he continued trekking in the forest toward the next destination, Sylvester's house. Walking with most of his Pokemon outside of the Pokeball, this seemed to send a message to wild Pokemon to runaway, as he could hear noises of Pokemon running away. This made him just a little uneasy, but he figured it might be better for the wild Pokemon if he had just continued his path... Now.... which direction was Slvester again? -going to shady glen-

-Coming from Luminous Vale-After walking for a couple minutes, Ethan finally found himself to be another part of the forest, where the trees were slightly more sparse, allowing more sunlight to touch the ground, instead of blocked by a million leaves. Weecot bounced more energetically, with the sunlight feeding the grass type passively. Although he haven't exactly seen any Pokemon around, he was glad that the outdoor was refreshing to walk around, not to mention, he got some exercise from the clean air that was away from the city. Continuing walking, he trekked casually as the sunlight warmed up his body. Wherever the Farfetch'd were, he hoped that they weren't too far in the forest, as he did not planned for a camping in the forest. He had just enough supplies that he thought he needed to through the forest and to Golenrod City, based on a map he saw. He did not planned for this surprise questing. -waiting for encounter-

As Ethan walked through the Luminous Vale a strange series of noises began heading his way. It sounded like something was moving on the ground stepping on the leaves on the ground as they headed towards him. The noise stopped a few feet before reaching his location and nothing came into view until a white and green stick appeared before his eyes. At the control of the deadly vegetable was one of the Farfetch'd who has escaped unable to handle being a servant to the Charcoal master and his son any longer. It could not stand how incompetent Sylvester was and it was not going to go back to him quietly. Farfetch'd had a feeling that Ethan was after it and that did not sit over too well for the bird. Being Sylvester's servant was one thing but knowing that his master did not even have the vourage to look for it himself left the bird feeling like a fool for having ever taken an order from him. If Sylvester needed it back so badly he would have come looking himself instead of sending another trainer to do the task. If there was one thing Farfetch'd liked more than disobeying Sylvester however it was a good battle which was something it rarely had a chance to participate in with how busy it always was cutting down trees for no reason. The duck may not have been in very good spirits knowing it's master was not brave enough to look for it but this was a chance for it to finally have a good battle. The flying type held out it's leek and pointed it towards Ethan as if it were challenging him to a battle. This bird was not going to go quietly but maybe it could be convinced to go back to Sylvester if Ethan was able to defeat it in a battle. Awaiting the young mans answer Farfetch'd began to slash with it's leek preparing a strike just in case it's challenge was accepted. One of the Farfetch'd has challenged you to a battle. Please go here to begin.

With the strong and determined Farfetch'd defeated, Ethan picked up the passed out bird Pokemon on his arms, and continued his way in the forest. He was hoping to either find the other Farfetch'd, or at least return one of the two Pokemon back to Sylvester first. finding the opponent was not too much different from Bugsy's Pokemon, Ethan so far didn't mind this at all, as the battle was fun in its own way, and he got to further train his Pokemon to their potential. Hmm... maybe this could be an inspiration for his new track, just maybe. -go back to Shady Glen-

Coming from Shady Glen
" Now that we are a bit deeper into the forest we should be on our own to do as we wish. I intend to bring Sylvester his Farfetch'd back but I cannot say what shape they will be in. I will let you decide that Mania so long as they still have a pulse. They are no good to us dead."[/color] He said as Mania and Hollenhund walked beside him. He was not expecting much resistance as he made his way towards the Luminous Vale as the mere sight of his two Pokemon were so intimadating most people kept their distance. The few who did dare to get in his way quickly learned their lesson. As time went on the Luminous Vale came into sight and Tyler wasted no time in starting a search for the missing Pokemon. " I want both of you ready for anything. Even the slightest movement and I want you to lash out without mercy. We have no idea who or what might be around. That is why I have both of you." As he made his intentions crystal clear Mania began to speak trying to fight off the urge to attack Hollenhund the whole time. " I can do it without this pricks help. Now that I evolved we do not need him anymore." Hollenhund refused to land the first strike beliving he could beat her with ease but he also wanted to avoid Tyler's wrath and as such he let the warewolf hybrid talk without making his move. As he stood by without doing anything to Mania his ears lifted up at a sound he heard off in the distance. It was impossible to tell what it was yet but both Pokemon braced themselves for a fight. " I hope you two are ready for a fight. This place must be crawling with Pokemon and even if we do not find what we are after it will be a good time to test Mania's strength. Hollenhund hold back in support just incase we need your help. Mania needs a chance to see just how powerful she has become."Ooc: Waiting on a encounter hoping I picked the right area.

Luminous Vale was a beautiful part of Ilex Forest. Tall, lush trees, an endless spread of ferns and tall grasses and the most notable part being the way the sun shone through the canopy, casting a calmly glow. The area drew many wild Pokemon due to its relaxing atmosphere but currently, there was a trespassing group who cared little for such trivial matters. A pair of dark canines at either side of him, Tyler stomped through the beautiful undergrowth with very little care of harming the local nature. His pair of Pokemon were no better, both ready and willing to rip and tear into the next living thing that decided to move or pass by their line of sight. They were a scary bunch and the mere sight of them and the scary aura they let off, caused wild Pokemon to shudder and hide in fear.
But they weren't after just any old Pokemon. They were tracking down the Farfetch'd belonging to Sylvester. As long as its head was still attached and heart still beating, he cared little for the state of the Pokemon, he simply wanted his prize. So, for the poor, lingering avian, it was in for a horrible shock. As it had run away from the kiln apprentice and made its way to its favourite spot, the bird had since perched itself on a cut log. It had been sleeping away peacefully until the crunch of footsteps had awoken it. Pulling its beak out from its wing, the Farfetch'd cawed and gripped tightly to its leek, accidentally alerting its presence to the nearby trainer. Although, the bird was a feisty sort and stood its ground, unaware of the intentions of Tyler and his Pokemon.

Having handled her foe with ease the Farfetch'd lie on the ground barely clinging to life as she let out a howl of excitement. The area surrounding them returned to normal as she rescinded her illusion as there was no more threats in the area. " That was it? That single hit was all it took for this pipsqueak to fall down and beg for it's mama? Sylvester must be a real weak trainer if he cannot handle such a pathetic bird. We should let it go to spare it the agony of living with such a nincompoop. We can always take the reward he offered by force. It is not like he can see past my illusions anyway." As she finished speaking Tyler looked at the bird lying on the ground. He still intended to return the Pokemon even if it meant using it as a ransom. " We have to return this sorry thing as it is the only way we can make sure Sylvester keeps his mouth shut just in case he figures out we are in Team Rocket and he tried to be a hero. If his Pokemon's lives are at stake we can tell him whatever we want and he will be forced into being silent. Höllenhund pick that sorry bird up and carry it on your back. If it tries to escape you have my permission to feast on it." The hellhound quickly scooped the bird up and placed it on his back without question as either way he would either stay on Tyler's good side and there was a chance of a snack it things went sour. " Now that that is settled it is time for us to bring this bird back to Sylvester and then look for the next one. If that one is as pathetic as this one was Mania should have no trouble handling it. I highly doubt it will post much of a threat as if it were any stronger Sylvester would have lost it far sooner than he did." As he finished speaking he began to walk back to the Shady Glen. He wanted to end this wild goose chase as soon as he could so he could get to Goldenrod and do some training before his brother could catch up with him. Even with Mania evolved he could not shake the feeling his brother would have a plan to stop her. Ooc: Heading back to the Shady Glen.

(Coming from Shady Glen)As Ororo and her Poliwag weeded through what seemed to be miles of trubbery, searching for where this duck could’ve gone. The likes of this area were quite foreign to her and she wondered how many hours it would take her to make it through the woods. The trials and tribulations these Farfecth’d were going to put Ororo through were making her head ache. “Polipop, I really hope we don’t get lost.” The little tadpole chirped at her, assuring her that he would help her find her way.
The two came upon a lit clearing in the forest. The sun’s rays peeked through the thin trees that littered the forest floor, making it seem like the place was glowing. Ororo could hear Tailows chirping overhead, although she could not see them, she knew that it must be them based on their somewhat annoying caw. Now it was time to hunt for the Farfetch’d, where could it be?

It was quite an elegant part of the forest in comparison to the dank dark and stuffy parts leading up to it. It nearly felt like an entirely different forest with the way it opened up to the fresh air, sun beams streaking in, birds happily chirping as a breeze wafted along the tall grass making the blades bow and shiver. But there was another noise in the area that didn't seem to quite fit the picturesque scene before her eyes: a whacking. From not too far off there was something slapping against a tree, aggressively thumping and cutting. Following after the rhythmic disturbance Ororo would find her quarry. Farfetch'd was doing some sort of entertaining dance routine. Flipping its leek like a baton the troublesome bird had taken to hacking artfully at a fallen trunk, hopping to and fro with the occasional quack of pleasure. But that all stopped once it spotted the trainer. Farfetch'd jumped on top of the dead log and pointed its trusty leek in her direction: a challenge made. One of Sylvester's lost Farfetch'd (Level 20) has appeared! Knock it out in a battle and take it back! Proceed here for the battle

Upon defeating the Farfetch’d, Ororo knew that she had to hustle. She still was not sure exactly how long the forest extended and whether or not she would get out of it by night time. The sun was about to set in a couple of hours and she hoped that perhaps she would be able to sprint out of the forest on time. Polipop wiggled and cheered, happy to be of assistance in this trying time. The Poliwag was certainly friendly and upbeat, which definitely helped Ororo’s paranoia that came in waves.
Suddenly, Ororo had an urge to stop and look around. Perhaps the woods were getting to her. The miles of vegetation could certainly make one feel a bit uneasy; the large topiaries seemed to be somewhat menacing in the large foresty area. Ororo decided that maybe she would find some Pokemon around these parts, after all she should expand her range a little bit more. Polipop, although very talented, wouldn’t be of much use in this effort, but Androgyny could certainly use its light to look for rare Pokemon! ((Stopping to look for Pokemon. Also sorry that this post sucks, I’m brain dead. Also pulling out Staryu as its ability Illuminate makes rare Pokemon more common. It’s listed in the ZZ Exclusive Differences page))

Ororo was correct in presuming that the luminous area would be just teeming with life. Unlike a majority of the Ilex forest this area was so open and bright, making it quite friendly to all manner of pokémon. However, they were also pretty good and blending in; something Androgony would be able to fix. Shuffling about her team she was able to bring her staryu out of her PC to spend some time on the field. Doing as told the starfish-like pokémon lit up like a beacon, illuminating the area even more than the sun was already managing through the foliage. Much of the tall grass and thick bushes shivered as the wild inhabitants shuffled back away from the trainer, but there was one bright red dot that remained close by. With a buzz the bug pokémon emerged from a thicket and landed on a tree trunk to view this curious new light source. The ladybug squinted its big bug eyes, adjusting to the harsh light shining from the water type. After a moment of staring the bug pokémon raised two of its glove-like hands to the air and shook a fist in the trainer's direction, calling its name in such a tone one would expect a cranky old timer to tell kids to get off his lawn. A Ledyba (LV 9) is challenging Ororo to a fight! Select a pokémon and proceed here for battle
