Edwina's caution would be well placed. Camouflaged in the canopy of the lighter section of forest there was a pair of mischievous eyes locked upon the trainer and her bird fast approaching. It snickered inwardly at the fumes figuratively rising from Terri's head as she stomped around the forest. The food bearing bird mused with the idea of cooking an egg on her hot head. A quiet snicker was impossible to keep silent, Farfetch'd absentmindedly twirling the leek along its wing with dexterity akin to a human hand. A mistake if it wanted to remain secret. The keen eyes of the alert raptor made note of the sudden flash of movement, quickly picking up on the noise having not been a shuffle of leaves in the wind. Edwina's gaze fell upon the perched figure of the runaway duck and in return Farfetch'd locked eyes and huffed. It was spotted! Well that just ruined all of its ambush plans. With a loud quack the troublesome avian dove down from the upper foliage. Though not really, as it wasn't that great of a flier. In reality it had to hop from near branches and catch a ride down from a thin one that couldn't really hold its weight; releasing grip on the tree's finger before it snapped off. At the very least Farfetch'd managed a superb landing for which it was quite proud. Immediately it began a cackling racket and thrust its leek in Terri's direction before giving the stand-in sword a spin between its feathered fingers and calling out Edwina. A rowdy bird appeared brandishing a leek! Knock some manners into it? Go here to battle

Exploring Luminous Vale a little more. Waiting for a wild encounter. If you see me comin' down the street... ... You know it's time to go.
Terri crept closer to the fallen Farfetch'd to make sure it had fainted. "I'm over this thing," she scoffed. "Edwina, go grab it an' carry it back." Edwina obeyed and swooped down to pick up the stray Pokémon. The Staravia wasn't sure how to approach this task and began to try different methods. After some awkward-looking attempts, she finally settled on carrying it upside-down by its feet.
Ollin slapped his face at the ridiculousness of the situation. Sylvester would think they'd killed the poor bird. Terri paid no attention, however, and had already begun to walk back towards the young charcoal maker. There was still one Farfetch'd to find. Then, she'd finally be free of this tedious task and could focus on more important matters.
Getting back to Sylvester wasn't so easy. Since the battle had ended, a thick mist had rapidly formed, blurring out the surroundings. "Is this a joke?!" Terri snapped, waving her arms around frantically.
Edwina eagerly rushed to save the situation by taking the lead again. 'Don't worry, I know the way,' she promised, putting her Keen Eye ability to use once again. The Staravia was getting much better at calming her trainer down and preventing any tantrums. It was like taking care of a spoilt child. She needed to give the girl everything she wanted.

As Edwina used her Keen Eye ability to try and find the path back to Sylvester the bird Pokemon could not help but notice a green cocoon Pokemon known as Metapod slowly hopping around the path in front of them. The rather helpless bug type did not appear to be very threatening at all but Edwina could not help but to go and investigate as the flopping like hop motion the bug had to make to get around was quite humorous to watch. As she landed in front of the bug it began to shiver in fear as it was not very well prepared to face a flying type nor did it know what exactly the bird was planning to do. Metapod looked around just hoping to get away from the situation when it saw Terri walk up behind the bird and the cocoon Pokemon nearly had a heart attack knowing it was a punching bag if this trainer decided to have a battle in its current state. Even the thick mist could not conceal its movements and it had no chance of outrunning a Staravia in its current form. If there was any good news at the moment it was that Metapod was a very common sight in this area and it would not likely be very popular to capture which was at least something the bug type was hoping would work out in its favor. As Metapod awaited its fate it stood ready to increase its defenses in hopes of buying as much time as it could in what could potentially be a very lopsided fight. A wild Metapod (Level 11) has appeared. Would you like to battle or run? If you would like to battle please click here.

Waiting for another wild encounter... (I know the other Farfetch'd went the other way I just wanna tick something off my wish list) If you see me comin' down the street... ... You know it's time to go.
Trudging through the forest with a face red with anger, Terri caught sight of a green cacoon that seemed of interest to her Staravia. "Not now, bird brain!" she said through clenched teeth.
Edwina shrieked and took flight again, the fainted Farfetch'd still in her grip. She had noticed a rustling and went to examine it in case the second Farfetch'd had also come in this direction in search of its friend. It was hard to recognise the Metapod from a distance as it blended in with all the leaves.
Terri exhaled in an attempt to remain calm. "Keep movin' and find that Farfetch'd," she insisted, deciding to leave the bug-type harm-free. "Edwina, this is takin' so long, you better not'a got us lost!"

As Edwina took off again in search of the Farfetch'd while trying not to get Terri lost the bird saw another Pokemon sitting in the middle of a path while also spotting a storm approaching from a distance dumping rain all over the area. The small white Pokemon on the route did not seem to be bothered by the rain at all as it sat there not moving a muscle even as it was drenched by the downpour. The bird grew excited thinking that the white lump was another Farfetch'd enduring the rain trying to act tough and the bird landed right in front of the small Pokemon to try and get a better look. It was not long before she realized this was not a Farfetch'd either as the bug Pokemon was awoken by the sound of her landing. " Siiillllcooooonnnn." The bug said as it looked at the bird thinking the bird was going to make it lunch. As Silcoon did not know anything that could pose a threat to Edwina the bug wanted nothing more than to just go back to sleep even with the rain falling all over it but it would not do so unless Edwina left. Seeing Terri behind the bird only led to more anxiety as the bug thought for sure its peaceful day was going to turn into a battle it had no desire to fight. Even so it would fight the young trainer if it was the only way it could go back to its nap. Terri could always run from the battle as well but either way the sneaky Farfetch'd still evaded her attempts to locate it. A wild Silcoon (Level 8) appeared, would you like to battle or run? Running and waiting for another wild encounter... If you see me comin' down the street... ... You know it's time to go.
The group soon found themselves caught in a downpour as the mist evolved into a chilling rain. Either they were drawing more attention to themselves on the journey back to Sylvester or change in weather had summoned all these bug-types.
Edwina mistakenly began to approach a Silcoon, though she rapidly fled upon realising what it was. She couldn't let Terri believe she was losing focus when she was doing everything in her power to complete the task she'd been given. The weight of Farfetch'd she carried was hindering her a little, oblivious to Terri who was too self-absorbed.
Edwina had the underlying fear of this Farfetch'd they defeated recovering and attempting another escape. She was really under pressure to deliver for her trainer. Ollin, too, felt the tension as the group marched back towards the entrance of the forest. All remained silent as Edwina led them past the wild Silcoon. They would have to keep searching.

As Edwina took off looking for the other Farfetch'd the downpour continued to be a problem even as the Silcoon was no longer in sight. The rain started to weigh Edwina down enough that she had to land and rest for a few moments. She found what she thought was a perfect spot that looked like a bunch of vines connected to a red pair of shoes and landed right on top. Little did she know it was a Pokemon known as Tangela that woke up the moment it felt the bird Pokemon land on its head. The grass type was pretty confused as to what was going on as it had been enjoying the rain for so long with no interruption. As the vine Pokemon stood up Edwina hopped off of the Pokemon also quite confused as to what in the world it was. It was such a strange looking Pokemon that she did not know what to make of it but Tangela quickly realized she was the reason for its nap being cut short and it was not very pleased at all as it started to fling its vines around violently. Tangela was not going to let the disruption go unpunished as it challenged the bird to a battle ready to use its vines to prevent any escape attempt. Unlike the last two Pokemon running would not be an option this time. The rain refusing to let up only added to the troubles as Terri would have to fight her way out of this situation. The grass type Pokemon eagerly awaited her choice as it was looking to dish out some revenge. A wild Tangela (Level 10) appeared. Battle it here. OOC: Note as per the running rules you cannot run from this encounter.

- Adding Padma to Terri's party. - Using TM09: Bullet Seed to replace Absorb. - Moving Exp. Share from Tiago to Padma. (Self-updating everything) If you see me comin' down the street... ... You know it's time to go.
With one simple throw of a Quick Ball, the wild Tangela was captured. For a short moment, Terri's fretful expression became a smirk. She was chuffed to have wasted practically no time on battling the grass-type. There would be no celebrations, however, as she still had a mission waiting for her. "Let's go!" The teenager flung the Quick Ball back into her bag and continued ploughing back along the trail. The icy rain pelting against her face only infuriated her further. This was a lot more work than it was worth and she wasn't even sure if she'd be able to confine her frustration when she made it back to Sylvester. She hoped by some chance that the second Farfetch'd had wandered back to the boy during her absence but she knew she'd never be that lucky.
Edwina began to pick up speed too after noticing her trainer was almost directly beneath her. She noticed that the surroundings were beginning to change again, although not to something unfamiliar. They seemed to be getting close to the forest entrance.
Tangela Name: Padma Gender: Female Level: 10 Attacks: Absorb, Vine Whip, Sleep Powder, Constrict Ability: Chlorophyll Nature/Personality: Padma is loud, mouthy and has an attitude that's hard to match. She'll always say what's on her mind without any consideration for those around her. Usually, this makes her funny and quite lovable, although her comments can easily escalate to arguments when she insults others and won't apologise. Poké Ball: Quick Ball

Yakul trotted on, snatching a mouthful leaves here and there when the opportunity presented itself. Astrid began to relax and enjoy the the view, while the forest might be treacherous it was certainly beautiful and the smell was wonderful "I do really hope they keep it this way, it is good this forest has people like Bugsy fighting for it, is it not Yakul?" Astrid chatted and her mount snorted as she chewed and walked. "It is a well used path, I wonder if it is traveling humans or pokemon who makes it?" Astrid continued thinking out loud, they couldn't really get lost if they followed the road, right? "We probably do not meet many pokemon here though," she continued thoughtfully but was fine with it, she was not here to try find pokemon to battle, and a pokemon used to humans could be at the road since they weren't scared of humans. This place would be as good as any to find the missing farfetch'ds.
Still there was no clues of them and Astid bit her lip, "what signs could they leave anyway? Feathers? I doubt they will cut down a lot of trees for me to follow," she mumbled to herself and looked up at the majestic treetops. They could easily hide up there. Astrid had a solution for that and a moment later Pia settled on the ground and looked around warily. "I am looking for some hiding birds, can you help me Pia? Perhaps you could also go above the treetops and see if you can find any landmark to follow should we get lost in this dense forest," Astrid explained and in a flurry of wing beats Pia went up and disappeared up above the trees. After a few moments of silence a shadow dived down and disappeared into the thicket beside the path with Pia hot on its heels. "Pia wait!" Astrid called after her and Yakul raced after her.

Coming from the Shady Glen
As Kevin arrived at the Luminous Vale coming from the Shady Glen the bright colors really were quite amazing. The Shady Glen might not have been very special for views but this area was lush with multicolored plants and trees along with bright sunlight. The trees provided just enough cover from the sun to prevent any fires but it was still quite warm and Samantha quickly took a liking to the area. " Oh it is lovely here, so nice and warm and plenty of nice trees to burn down if I ever need target practice." She said jokingly as Kevin stopped to take another look at his map.
He was absolutely certain they were in the area he thought the first Farfetch'd was in and now he just needed to try and find wherever it was hiding. He even had a bit of bait to lure it out if it were here as a Farfetch'd could never turn down a challenge from a strong Pokemon especially one not native to the area. " Berserk I think you were born for this role as I doubt a Pokemon like yourself who is never seen in these parts will make for a great foe for a Farfetch'd." After pausing for a few seconds he turned his attention to a nearby bluish green bush a short distance away and pointed at it.
" A bush like that would make for the perfect spot to set up an ambush, I would not be too surprised if a Pokemon is watching us right now just waiting for the right moment to strike. It would be a god strategy as a bush like that can hide a number of Pokemon quite effectively. We need to be on guard just in case one of the Farfetch'd tries anything sneaky like that." He said as a light breeze caused every nearby bush to shake. Kevin did not know if it was from the wind or a Pokemon trying to find a better spot but either way he was ready for it. " I am not sure if the wind can get that strong this deep in the forest so be on your toes Berserk. We might have company soon."
Berserk then scraped his back legs in a patch of dirt and got ready to charge the moment he saw something. Berserk might not have been a fast Pokemon but he was smart enough to not let his guard down in an unfamiliar area such as this.
OOC: Waiting for an encounter.

It was a wonderful day, way too good to waste it in work or so did the farfetch'd think as it trotted happily through the scenic Luminous Vale. It was not a day that fitted to work, especially not under someone like inexperienced Sylvester, he always tried to act like he was in charge of everything which he wasn't. Of course its trainer had ordered it to do as the boy said, but it couldn't be expected to do that all the time, not when he didn't knew what he was doing. The two farfetch'd had been quick to agree that today they could spent their time better and it had been so easy to just fly in two different directions and leave the boy behind. He had shouted after them and had sounded rather desperate but it wasn't like he wouldn't be able to get out of the forest of his own, and they would return when they felt like it. A gently breeze made the leaves wave on their branches and farfetch'd was in a great mood, this was really relaxing! A movement on the other side of a bush caught its attention, was it the wind or something else? It squawked shocked when a living bulder crashed through the undergrowth and straight at it, it flapped hard and managed to dodge Beserks charge and the massive rock pokemon got stopped when he crashed into an old oak. Farfetch'd landed shakingly in another tree and watched how the rhyhorn pulled his horn out of the trunk with leaves floating down around him, but the tree still stood. It was more than what could be said about the bush which had been completely trampled. Farfetch'd eyed the big rhyhorn, trees it knew how to handle, and all the pokemon in the area, but a rock like that was more than it wanted to challenge. Kevin's expectations of it planning an ambush on them seemed to be quite far off the mark, it wasn't a fighter after all. The bird shook its feathers and looked for another tree to fly to, better not get too close to ground with that thing lumbering around down there. One of Sylvester's Farfetch'ds [lvl 20] has appeared. Choose a pokemon to get it back.It will be battled here

Entering the pretty part of the forest Pia began to fidget and she avoided looking at the others, although no-one reacted on it. "Keep an eye out for another farfetch'd, do not get distracted by the beauty around you!" Astrid said cheerfully as they enjoyed the scenery. "Pia and Amanda, you two can go scout around and see what you can find but stay close, I am not up for another charge through the forest, I will certainly fall off then," she said cheerfully but didn't get the expected reactions from her pokemon. Pia looked guilty which made Astrid feel sad, she had meant it like that and the bird took it much closer than she had thought. Amanda looked worried at Astrid and made a questioningly jingle as she floated at her side. "I am fine, I just tried to make a joke, instead I managed to hurt her," she said reassuringly to the psychic and sighed, "we get through it, do not worry Amanda."
They traveled through the sunlit forest with no signs of any farfetch'd. It was a lazy afternoon for the inhabitant of this part of the forest, ledyba buzzed among the trees and a few cocoons was hanging around waiting for their time to evolve wings. The arrived at a crossroad and Astrid looked at the two for a few moments while Pia preened her feathers and Yakul once again stomped the ground eager to get going. "Let us go this way, we need to go opposite of Azalea," Astrid decided and Pia took the lead again flying from tree to tree.

"It is as pretty as the last time, do you not agree?" Astrid said dreamily as Yakul carried her through the lush forest which was as full of life as the last times they had went through it. It was quickly becoming one of Astrid's favorite places especially since it was still beautiful even on a cloudy day as today. Yakul bleated loudly but it was unclear what her response meant, it made Astrid laugh though so perhaps that had been the goal. Farfetch'd looked around bored, it had seen it plenty of times in its time here and it had cut down trees here as well, and it knew how to do it since there was different ways of cutting depending on how you wanted the place to look. Pia didn't say anything, it was a pretty place yes, but not really useful for training and that was her main goal. She was fine having a proper task of keeping an eye on Farfetch'd to keep her from getting bored, she was not the kind to stop and smell the flowers. She rather whack them in case they were a hidden pokemon and learn how they looked if disguised.
As they traveled along the path squabbles was heard not long into the shrubbery and Astrid got them to pause to look worried in that direction. A few loud crashes and then everything went silent again. "What was that?" Astrid asked and Pia took some eager steps in that direction. The farfetch'd was shaking, it didn't know anything out here that could make such noises and the squawking in the beginning had sounded familiar, it had a feeling others were out looking for it and its partner and it didn't wanted to take the risk of ending in another battle like the one with Pia. It forced out a laughter and pretended to try run away, along the path towards the entrance and Sylvester. Pia's head snapped around and she raced after it but it dodged around her and continued down the path. It glanced back several times, why did the human not follow? She needed to follow if this trick should work and it get them all away from here, or else they would just take it back and bring it to whatever horrors waited behind those bushes.
Astrid hesitated as she looked between the farfetch'd and where the crashing had sound. "Oh well, better get this one back, or else it has all been for nothing," Astrid decided and to the farfetch'd's relief she urged Yakul to follow it. It let itself get 'caught' by Pia and accepted her scolding peck and followed them subdued as they hurried on. "It probably is just some wild pokemon, but I want to check it out," Astrid mumbled to herself. The farfetch'd didn't care what she did afterwards as long as she didn't brought it along.

After what could only be described as an eternity Kevin had finally defeated the first Farfetch'd he had sought to rescue but as there was no news on the second yet he had to go and see if he could find it. From what he had been told the Farfetch'd were in different areas of the forest and that the other area described a shady part of the forest. There were a few areas that fit the description but one area was very close by and to avoid wasting any more time he wanted to try his luck there first. " I think we should look in the Gleaming Hallow next. Maybe we will get lucky and find the other Farfetch'd there." He said as they set out for the next area.
Heading to Gleaming Hallow.

Maxwell king » OOC: Waiting for an encounter, arriving from Shady GlenWord Count: 227 It was a fairly uneventful travel from one destination to the other in Ilex Forest so far for Maxwell, the dense thicket of trees that surrounded the paths made for an eerie vibe that would give the heebie jeebies to anyone who was foolish enough to traverse the forest at night time. Max arrived at a new destination, had he have taken a photograph of the map at the entrance to Ilex he would be aware that he was now in Luminous Vale.
Luminous Vale was lush with multicolored trees and plants surrounding the area, the warmth of the area could certainly be felt as bright sunlight shone down and luminated this area of the forest. In comparison to the Shady Glen that Max had set out from on this wild goose chase of sorts, the Luminous Vale was a bright and vibrant area of the forest that aptly fit the description that the young boy had given to Max, now that only issue was locating the leek duck pokemon, if he had to take the avian by force he was prepared to do so, by any means necessary he was going to succeed with this task, after all nobody wanted to pay for a subpar job being completed.
"Come on out you stupid bird, I don't want this to take any longer than it needs to"
