ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: On | Time: Day
Time marched on as Zaiden remained a motionless heap. He needed to just not think. If he couldn’t think, could he stop his very existence even if for a second? Could he slowly erase the footsteps in the proverbial sands where he’d left his mark? Would Zaiden be able to remove himself from the equation, allow someone who was clearly more competent and capable than himself to fill the void, so that everyone would get a better world. How could he ask for his friends to step up and create a better world, if he was incapable of lending a helping hand in bring this image to life?
The thoughts eventually died down and dissipated to the farthest reaches of his mind. The time felt like hours, as though he needed to pull out a tent and set up camp for the night, rinse off the bitter emotions that pulled him down and tried to sink him into the ground and start over as soon as the sun broke through the horizon line once more to bask the world in a sea of bright and wonderful colors. He slowly rose up off the ground and continued his trek. The sun washed through the canopies where they left long breaks in between their branches and spilled across the forest floor below.
He was small and insignificant. Zaiden witnessed bluebirds with their rich red chest and striking white undersides dart down to the ground and peck at small insects as they popped out of holes in the earth. They plucked them swiftly with their sharp golden beaks and swallowed the squirming worms in one quick gulp. Skittish red beetles with black splotches on their armored shells opened their hard outer wings and unfurled thin, translucent wings from underneath. They turned on their many feet, tested their wings with a couple of beats, then sped off deeper into the forest in an instance.
He had to keep moving through the forest. He had to find his way out of the forest. This was a setback. It stung. Zaiden had to hope that if he kept pushing and kept struggling, he would find his way and become a more competent person who would not only be able to help himself but might even be able to help others. If I can save just one life…if I can make a positive difference on just one soul…how can I be a complete waste of space? It was hard to believe. They were strange words of encouragement filled to the brim with positivity. As though it was easier to lie to you than to tell you everything was horrible and that you were just another part of the nasty grime in life, instead of part of the good things that kept society barely functioning.
Just…one step at a time… If nothing else, Zaiden had to keep struggling. He had to keep pushing forward. He could decide what he wanted to do later. Maybe he could shelf his dreams and give it all up, resigning to a life in the shadows. Footsteps echoed on the same grounds, leading to the same exit. Was he the only person who managed to wander in this direction, or just the most incompetent person who managed to run into the area? Maybe Zaiden’s honesty would resonate with Sylvester and the young boy wouldn’t be nearly as heartbroken with Zaiden’s incompetence as Zaiden was with himself. Maybe he would find someone else out there who would help him snag his birds before they became dinner for something else lurking in the forest or disappeared in its deepest depths? Maybe…who knows, really!

ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: On | Time: Day
Zaiden blinked as his footsteps slowed to a halt. He’d wandered through the area once before but barely took in the breath-taking beauty that existed around him. Tall trees stretched upwards towards the heavens above. Each of the long timbers sprouted offshoots that clamored in every direction. Many of them would wrap around each other as the foliage duked it out in a silent match to determine who was the better plant. On the forest floor, spruced between the towering giants, were several smaller plants each vying for their own chance to exist in the world.
Some struggled with withered leaves that curled or bent stalks that curled back up on the dirt ground in defeat. It was a strange notion to consider such stagnant things capable of fighting amongst each other. They struggled to fight over the very resources they shared. Their roots entangled each other in their hungry pursuit of water. Their leaves wrestled in their attempts to soak up every drop of sunlight. Shio hopped about through the tall grasses, his well-trained red irises hunting for wrongdoers who needed the swift arm of justice to come smacking them upside their heads. Criminals loved the low, dimly lit areas in the world, so that you couldn’t spot them as easily.
“You could melt away in the streams that run through these forests, huh?” The sly purple child-like Pokemon with two white bows affixed to either side of her head and a small puff of black hair jutting from the top of her cranium snickered. “Then how would you stop the crimes happening in this forest?” Shio stopped dead in his tracks and spun around with a harsh glared. What did that little puff of a wanna-be child say?! Surely, his trainer as noble and true as he was, would never deliberately add a criminal onto their team. And yet… “If you’re here to commit felonies, out with it! So we can have you repent and repay for your misdeeds!” Shio stated firmly, staring Goshikka dead in the eyes.
Goshikka placed her hands on her cheeks and gasped. “Who, me?!” She waddled past Shio, simply brushing him out of the way. She’d managed to crawl underneath the little nugget of hard salt’s skin, which pleased her to no end. If she could keep digging at the wires of Shio’s mind, she could make him come completely unglued. “I’m just a small Pokemon who means no harm. Unlike the two bears I saw dragging off a poor trainer’s picnic basket for themselves….” Shio brushed past Goshikka and Zaiden in hot pursuit of this would-be criminal wherever they existed within the woods, anger seeping through his body. “Not on my watch, they don’t!” Barely giving his trainer the chance to catch up!

ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: On | Time: Day
Thoughts raced inside of the teenager’s mind, locked behind their steel doors where they could scream into the ether. He sighed, rich chocolate irises searching through the tall trees as they traversed the terrain towards the opening of Ilex where a certain black-haired boy should be awaiting their return, perhaps still fretting over the the ineptitude of his capabilities to control and monitor two duck-like Pokemon. Zaiden understood Sylvester’s anxieties and fears, his own slowly eating him alive from the inside as he hummed softly and reflected on his past, where a familiar looking winged lizard with flames spouting out the tip of its tail soared high above the world through bright blue skies. They crashed through so many altostratus puffs wisped quietly against the bright blue backdrop.
Time was a thief of many things. Those same beautiful wings that once soared with ease through the clouds as though it were merely yesterday, with their leathery touch still so fervently glued inside of young Zaiden’s head, faded against the hands of time that continued to march on indifferent to the teenager’s plight. They faded, still there as a gentle brush against his own now roughened skin that had toughened from the long and arduous trek through the wild, entangled regions of Johto’s wilderness. He’d once graced Charizard’s presence with the soft, delicate touch of a small child who never wanted nor needed to understand the rough ways of the world, where you kicked and scraped for every little bit of what you could get just to survive.
He noticed the differences between the trees as he traveled quietly, blinking eyes taking note of bright blue feathers darting high above with red beetles fluttering in a hurry to safer, more secluded areas. Digitate leaves spread out against a single stem with five elongated, finger-like reaches in different directions, clawing silently in the air like some hidden apparition hungry for traveling souls within its domain as the wind kicked up, sputtering more sands in a wild fashion about them. Serrated leaves had a roughened edge with small, pointy edges that seemed as though they only hoped they might cut a would-be assailant though they rarely had the sharpness to back it up. Several had small holes chewed in different places, evidence of the small caterpillars and other insects that called the area home.
Feet pounded against the ground creating the sounds of war drums that echoed through the rustling leaves and dancing blades of grass. They had a goal they had to reach if not for themselves then for another human being who relied on them once before only to have Zaiden dragging himself in a pitiful state back to Sylvester’s side, those same rich brown hues muddled with semi-transparent blues as water pooled up along the edge of their eyelids. He was managing the impossibility this time, snatching these wily avian Pokemon up one at a time, with a goal of handing them back over to the trainer they belonged to. He could manage this, without having to come crawling out of the woodwork admitting defeat and his own ineptitude to get a single task done, this time.
They were almost through the worst of the thicket. Hope brimmed in the center of Zaiden’s chest, causing his heart to nearly skip a beat as he pushed past tangled wiry bramble bushes and fought against the sharp needles of vampiric vines that wrapped around his hands and tried to pull him back in. It was an awkward moment, where Zaiden pulled and yanked against the plant, whose thick and woody limb tugged back with equal measure, until he finally managed to snap it in two and pull away. Zaiden would brush off the worst of them from around his hands, before finally pushing through the veil that separated Luminous from the glen.

It had not taken the motley crew long to find themselves in a part of the forest unlike anything they'd experienced so far. The vale in which they now found themselves in ran through gently sloping hills along the forest stretches of Ilex. The Luminous Vale was a natural wonderland as wildflowers were blooming in abundance that was emphasized by sun’s rays shining down from above to display the beauty of the location. The valley appeared to stretch just shy of Shady Glen’s reach and leading off towards a hollow at one end and a knoll at the other, seemingly like a fork in the road type approach. There were sparser populations of oaks and pines dotting along the stretches of the vale providing a space that allow travelers like Tristan and his team to adequately stretch stretch out their legs and explore their surroundings,
"Yeah wow! This place is stunning!"
Nami wanted to admire the beauty that nature had to offer, however her focus was firmly locked upon the captive Farfetch'd, she was all too aware that the cheeky wild duck was likely to use any opportunity, no matter how small it may be to abscond. Lolong was full of energy as he dashed ahead of Tristan, the bipedal crocodilian pokemon was forever grateful to his trainer for saving him from the situation he had been forced into and experiences like this had him thankful for the second chance at life he had been gifted. Staying in 'Luminous Vale' for an encounter for Lolong the Totodile to battle!

Light was wonderful in Luminous wale, it was like it was always sunshine and peaceful. Reality lay just below those gently swaying flowers and there was more than one snake in this paradise, pokemon weren't restricted to one part of the forest after all, and more on top of that with trainers traveling through. There were also areas of the forest most stayed away from as darkness lured in the shadows, and some had turned crazy by venturing too far. A ledyba, a little timid pokemon knew this very well as it lived in these forests and had seen the snakes pop their heads up unexpectedly, both literally and figuratively, and it knew that there was only one way to go if it would continue to live its life relatively safe. It was getting hard to find someone safe to battle though, it needed to learn more but it was hard against the same few bugs who were interested in helping it out, or had the same ideas as the ledyba. So when it spotted a trainer and his pokemon its wings shovered with anticipation, and fear. Who knew how these strangers would take its approach? Fate might have something quite different in store for it they had other plans than it did. It gathered all its courage and buzzed over hesitantly, it kept a good distance. "Hi..do.. do you want to battle? Just.. just for fun I mean.." It asked, ready to zip away if needed. Several eyes peeked at them from the trees and within foliage. Ledyba [Lv 12] is requesting a battle. Go to battle hereShiny: Q0TWp_f8p_1-421-42
