Sophia Lock was a rare breed. She was one of the few people in the world who could call them selves a bibliophile, a true lover of books. The eccentric woman prided herself on many things, her lovely daughter, her team of pokemon, her secure finical footing, but above all else she prided herself on her vast collection of books. So vast in fact that she converted the first two floors of her own home into a private library. And it was Sophia's love of books that brought her here.
In Cherrygroves she heard rumors of a rare book, simply known as 'The Shadow Out of Time'. Sophia didn't even know what was held within the pages of book, but she couldn't resist the forbidden knowledge. Once she heard about the illustrious book in Cherrygrove she did her best to track her down, and the trail lead to this warehouse.
A small grimace appeared on Sophia's face as she approached the old building. Small bits of rust dotted the large steel walls that held the building together, and to Sophia it looked rather unsafe. Although she was used to the well kept buildings of Cerulean City. The woman forged ahead despite her brain telling her not too, she simply couldn't resist the lure of 'The Shadow Out of Time' and the secrets it held within.
It didn't take long for the bibliophile to find the door, as it was rather large and open. The woman invited herself in, believing it to be abandoned. Sophia was rather shocked at what she found within. Wild pokemon ran about the interior, some looked rather playful. Were as others looked like they were looking for a fight. Then there was the shadows, the ones at the corners of her eyes. That danced in and out of Sophia's line of sight.
The woman's hand dropped into her jacket pocket. Her hand wrapped firmly around one of the small pokeballs that rested in her pocket. With a flick of her wrist she withdrew the ball and tossed it in front of her. With a flash of brilliant red light the shiny Hoppip emerged from her ball.
The grass type let out a playful giggle, glad to be out of her pokeball. Even if she was now inside some odd human nest. The bright green hoppip drifted over to Sophia's shoulder, which was her favorite place to perch. Sophia let out her own soft giggle as she pushed up her glasses from the sides. She always found Dayang's cheerful personality to be rather amusing.
Now that one of her pokemon was ready for combat, well as ready as the playful hoppip would ever be, Sophia forged on ahead. Not thinking that the shiny hoppip would draw any unwanted attention, as he mind was solely focused on finding 'The Shadow Out of Time.'
[OCC] Bonus points if you know who wrote 'The Shadow Out of Time'. :v Sorry if the book thing throws you off, but I think thats the only reason why Sophia would show up to this sketchy building.... Joey, are you sure your character isn't a drug dealer? [/OCC]

OOC: The book is hinting towards that Lovecraft one right? If so I might throw some references to the material in there. Oh and don't worry, the book thing works out quite well. I'm trying to flesh out some of my residents and seeing as i'm using Dusty in Scott's topic and am starting to get a feel for him I think i'll build on that here. 'Sides, it'd make sense him having it with him being a burglar and all. BIC: It had been a long day for the lucky burglar. Dusty had only recently returned from an expedition to raid some fancy mansion of some goods. That tip off he got about it actually managed to be a good haul. He stood at the far end of the interior floor of the warehouse and heaved his sack from off of his shoulder; landing it on the floor with a hefty thud. His loot bag was about as heavy in weight as he was and not to mention filled to the brim with all kinds of lucrative goods. He pulled up a makeshift seat that was scattered along the floor and pulled it up for a nice sit down. "Phew... I don't... Think anyone tailed me." He puffed and wheezed. This mansion was quite a ways away and he had ran all the way back to the base. He laid back in a relaxed manner and pulled down his dust mask in order to catch his breath. Accompanying him was one of his trusty Pokemon. This chameleon looking Pokemon was none other than a Kecleon. From a very early age it loved to hoard items and steal things from people. The fact it could camouflage so easily and was gifted with a sticky prehensile tongue only went to further his favourite hobby. Dusty began shifting through some of the items he had robbed and grinned to himself. "Look at this... Trophies, a nice dining set, some rare paintings... This guy certainly had some stuff." He continued rummaging through the loot when his Kecleon budged in front of his face, catching his attention. "What is it bud?" He looked to see in the lizard's hands was a rather mysterious looking book. Dusty took off his trademark shades and further inspected it. Whatever it was, it certainly seemed old and had a very unusual air about it. He flicked it open and noticed the title page. " The Shadow Out of Time..." He murmured. "What a weird title. What made ya take this?!" Kecleon's eyes swivelled around and his head quickly shifted from side to side. It seemed to be unsure as well. It merely called out to him while they were out on the heist. Dusty shrugged and placed the book beside him. "Ah well, I can always do with some readin' material while i'm stuck in this dingy hideout." Kecleon clapped it's hands together excitedly. It had fortunately done something to please it's master. Dusty would have continued sorting out the spoils but the sound of someone entering at the far end caught him off guard. He fell off his seat and hid behind a crate. "Awwwwwwww to hell with it!" He muttered bitterly under his breath. "Joey must be pissin' off all sorts of people. This place has had way too many people slipping in..." Kecleon appeared beside him, having hid in camouflage and looked to see what the commotion was about. "Okay... Let's just hide here and hope she gets bored or chased off by a Pokemon or something..." He peered over the crate and noticed she had a Pokemon accompanying her. Dusty's eyes dilated and he became filled with an incomparable greed. "Oh god, oh god! LOOK AT THAT! She has something special on her!!!" He picked up his lenses and tapped them to activate the scanner. "We got another fancy pants collector here. Dammit... This is almost too good to pass up." As he shifted his view to the woman's face he noticed something eerily uncanny about her. "Don't she... Look like that girl intruder we had the other day?" He shrugged and was about to jump in to fight when something else had beat him to the punch. Before Sophia was one of the warehouse's many wild Pokemon. As the warehouse was a husk of it's former glory and was for the most part abandoned; many Pokemon had come to know this place as their home. Joey's gang were more than happy for the wild Pokemon to live alongside them. Not only did they act as a nice deterrence to unexpected visitors but it completed the atmosphere of an abandoned locale. This time, the Pokemon that had come to play was a wild Spinarak. It had crawled its way over from it's nest and stood before her. It looked up and wiggled it's legs wildly. Encounter
A wild Spinarak has appeared!

Sophia let out a little squeal of joy as her eyes fell upon the Spinark. "Your so cute!" Sophia almost screamed. "Hold on one second," the woman then said as she began to pat herself down. "Not here." she said as she looked in one of her many pockets. "Or here." Sophia said, looking into another one of her pockets. After much searching she finally announced. "Ah ha! I finally found it!"
From her pocket Sophia withdrew a single blueberry danish. It was meant to be a treat for her Sentret, who had one of the largest sweet tooths that Sophia ever saw. But Allegra was starting to get a little pudgy, and a danish or two less would really help the poor Sentret out. The simple square pastry was light and flaky, with a creamy blueberry filling. On top a simple white sugar based frosting was drizzled on top.
Kneeling down Sophia gently offered the pastry to the Spinarak. "Here you go, why not have a treat?" Sophia said with a soft smile. "Hop, hop!" the shiny grass typed chimed in. Most trainers would normally battle it out, forcing the wild critter into a fight. Yet Sophia was a tad different, if she could subdue a wild pokemon through love and peace then she would much rather do that. Besides she felt fairly confident that Dyanag would protect her from any danger.
[OCC] Sorry for the short reply, I am assuming that Sophia can't see the thief. Which means I just have the Spinarak to play off of. [/OCC]

The Spinarak watched in curiosity as the woman seemed to be rummaging for something. Could she be looking for the same device that it had seen being used on one of it's fellow inhabitants of the warehouse? The Pokemon's abdomen began to shake nervously, it rather liked it's dark abode here in the main part of the warehouse and wasn't too keen on the idea of adventuring out in the big wide world. With her proud outburst, Spinarak prepared itself for the worst. The sight of the round, spherical object would have been enough to make it launch itself into battle as a last stand to remain in the warehouse. It was presented, however, with one of the most delectable looking bits of food the Spinarak had ever seen. The aroma was sickly sweet to it, almost to the point it intoxicated it with it's sugary goodness. Another waft of the danish's delightful smell made it almost besieged with a gluttonous lust. As she lowered the tasty treat nearer to it, the Pokemon scuttled forward and launched itself onto it and devouring it with it's fangs. They appeared to move at a lightning speed as the danish began to slowly get eaten away. In the Spinarak's head it could only think of consuming more and more of this exquisite bit of pastry. After tucking into a good half of the gift, it began to slow down, it's belly obviously becoming bloated having eaten so much. This was very much a case of the eyes being bigger than the belly. Even so, it continued to eat small scraps that it tore off with its fangs. This Pokemon considered the danish a gift to itself and itself only. It was getting the worrying suspicion that some of its other kin would be descending on the snack and grabbing the rest for themselves. Upon that thought it began devouring it at a faster rate again. The poor Spinarak had no idea when it'd next get another decent sized meal for itself as its fellow inhabitants were always eating everything in sight. With its next bite, it froze completely. The spinning web of other Spinarak was heard off in the distance from it. It's eyes looked around frantically to try and pinpoint where exactly they were. It turned on the pastry and realised that three other Spinarak had webbed their ways down from the ceiling above and were spoiling for a bite of the pastry themselves. The irresistible smell had alerted quite a few of the warehouse's Pokemon residents. The three other Spinarak looked a lot meaner than the little one which had been snacking away at Sophia's gift. They wriggled up and down on their webbing intimidatingly and cried out for a pastry of their own. The hungry Spinarak on the pastry was frightened by this and crawled up closer to Sophia suggestively hinting that they meant business. They way it clung to her also indicated that it wasn't all that ready to jump in to help out fending them off. For now Sophia had to rely on herself and her own Pokemon. "Oh! You have friends, lets see if I have anymore..." Sophia trailed off as she began to search her pockets for more pastries to give the new comers. After a few seconds of dedicated searching, the woman discovered that she lacked anything to satisfy the appetite of the new Spinarak. The woman held her hands out, to show the three spiders that she had nothing. "I got nothing left, I apologies. Next time I will bring more." Sophia said with a cute smile on her face.
However the Spinarak didn't seem to amused by this. Perhaps it was because the tiny one still had half a danish left, or the fact that small danish crumbs were littered on the womans hands thus giving them the sweet aroma. The spiders hiss and spat at her, demanding more of it. A small frown appeared on Sophia's face when she saw the Spinarak's negative reaction. She could tell where this was going, and violence wasn't her favorite thing. The woman's eyes darted down to small Spinarak, who was clinging to her leg now. Sophia let out a sigh, it was clearly not going to help. Which was a shame, as it's experience with these Spinarak would have been wonderful.
Sophia's head turned to the shiny Hoppip that perched on her shoulder. "Dayang, would you be a dear and fight those nasty spiders for me?" Sophia kindly asked her pokemon. With a nod the Hoppip flew off her perch, and floated harmlessly in front of Sophia. The grass type slowly bobbed back and forth, softly humming a rather pleasant tune to itself.
"Alright Dayang," Sophia started to say as she began to dig through her pockets, looking for her other pokeballs. She knew that the Hoppip wouldn't last long on her own, and Sophia had the perfect support for her. "Start off with substitute!" Sophia commanded before she whispered a soft aha!
A glee of joy escaped Sophia's lips as she finally found the two pokeballs. She flicked them forward juts as Dayang began to start her own substitute. Slowly the Hoppip summoned leaves from the surrounding area. The leaves wafted through the air, and floated together in a small ball in front of the hoppip. Upon completion the orb, the leaves suddenly condensed into a tighter orb before finally exploding outwards. In the wake of the harmless leaf explosion, an exact copy of Dayang floated. The copy seemed almost identical, except for it's minor transparency.
Sophia tossed the two other pokeballs out in front of her. In a torrent of red light a Cyndaquil and Taillow became visible. "Alright, it's time for battle. Magnus, Pachino I want you to team up on the largest one. Use ember and peck!" Sophia commanded as soon as the two pokemon materialized. With a nod the two pokemon charged into battle.

The lack of any delectable danish pastries from themselves hit an anger point within the Spinarak collective and were now more than amped for a fight. Within the ecosystem of Joey's warehouse, the three Spinarak brothers were known to be one of the hard hitters when it came to the pecking order of all the wild Pokemon. The fact a little runt managed to have so much of the pastry to itself was blasphemous! In their minds, anything that was available was fit for them and them only, the others were only worthy to savour the crumbs on the floor. As Sophia added some more Pokemon to her side of the battlefield, the Spinarak group prepared themselves also. The inclusion of a fiery animal and a flying pest made this a lot harder than it should be for them. Perhaps due to their low intelligence or the fact they considered themselves champions of battle around here, the spider Pokemon decided against retreat. Starting off, the Substitute created by Sophia's Dayang had them at an absolute loss. Not one member of the group had seen anything like this before and the creepy little doll that materialised in front of it made them slightly unnerved. It just sat there, waiting. Deciding against focusing on that thing, the high pitched cries between them agreed upon dealing with the real threats that stood before them. Taking them out would be a difficult challenge but through their team work they believed themselves to stand a chance. This unwavering belief was soon to be thoroughly shaken, however. The Cyndaquil and Taillow both had natural resistances to the Spinarak group and effective moves to defeat them to boot. The command to gang up on the biggest of the trio left the middle one in shock. Sure it liked to consider itself the leader of the group seeing as it was biggest but it doubted it could take two very effective attacks. Most of the time it used its underlings to shield blows and with them preoccupied it meant that the boss would have to deal with every excruciating blow by itself. Due to Cyndaquil and Taillow's similar speeds, it meant that the two struck as one. Cyndaquil burned brightly as it shot forth a spat of embers, landing accurately on the spider Pokemon. It danced on the spot as the searingly hot coals laid waste to its very being. The other two Spinaraks looked on in horror as this was likely going to be them next in the following turns. As the burning continued, a strong gale of wind was focused on the spider in order to fan away the heat. Sighing relievedly, the Spinarak looked up only to be stricken with horror as the Taillow came speeding down, beak first, in order to strike with Peck. The Spinarak curled itself up and was pecked squarely on its body. Spinning around in agony, the Spinarak somehow managed to hang on by the skin of its fangs. With the two offenders now back safely on their side of the battle, the Spinarak gang had their turn to strike. The biggest one was absolutely seething, it had barely any stamina left to do stay in the fight but it somehow summoned the strength to go on. As people say, rage is a hell of an anaesthetic. Despite its burnt and pecked body, the spider leapt forward and as it raised its abdomen, the pattern visible seemed to spring to life. The Cyndaquil was enraptured by the terrifying vision and as it stared transfixed, felt its very life-force being diminished. The Spinarak had just performed its own variation of Night Shade! As it retreated back hurriedly, the two lackey Spinarak, wanting to pick up the slack, focused both of their attacks on Cyndaquil. Although they weren't quite as powerful as their bigger brother, the two had their own methods to inflict damage upon their enemies. Eyeing the weakened Cyndaquil, the first Spinarak scuttled forward as poison dripped from its fangs. A small bite successfully landed on Cyndaquil and left it in a precarious situation. The next attack would surely conquer it. Knowing this, the last remaining Spinarak cried out victoriously before shooting a web on the girder support above them before swinging stylishly towards Cyndaquil. It landed before it and tackled at the fiery Pokemon as it stung it with its move. Poison Sting may be a very ineffective attack but when you're being constantly pricked and stung by it from all sides, you're in for a grim outcome. The Cyndaquil, having been unanimously ganged up upon, was no longer able to stand in and fight. With a flicker of the fire on its back, the Magnus succumbed to defeat and slumped forwards onto the dusty warehouse floor. For now, the Spinarak gang had got their revenge on the boss being burnt so brutally. Wild Triple Battle

Oh this battle was not going Sophia's way. She almost took out the big baddy, but the Spinarak were too organized. They quickly focused down, and took out Cyndaquil. She quickly rushed to her fainted pokemon's side as she shouted out commands to hold the front lines. The woman patted down her jacket, which doubled as a bad, looking for an item. After a few seconds of searching she withdrew a yellow diamond object. It was small enough for a pokemon to swallow, and aside from the sharp looking edges seemed similar to a pill.
The woman pushed the object into Cyndaquil's mouth, and it soon revealed it's nature as the ember pokemon opened his eyes. He wasn't at full strength, but he was at least awake. "I am so sorry," Sophia said to her pokemon as it awoke. She was glad that she had the revive, but the woman still felt horrible that she let Cyndaquil charge into battle like that. "I promise I will be more careful next time." the woman said as she rose to her feet, and withdrew Magnus's pokeball intending to return him.
The fire on Magnus's back only grew greater in response. The pokemon cried out in protest. Those bugs may have beat him, but that only served to piss him off. And he had full intentions of burning them to the ground. Sophia's blue eyes carefully examined Cyndaquil. Sure he wasn't in top condition but neither was their leader, and once he fell the other Spinarak would be easy prey. "Are you sure?" the woman asked, honestly not wanting to push her pokemon to far. Cyndaquil let out another cry in response.
Sophia gave a sharp nod before returning to the battle before her. "Alright Magnus get back out there! Pachino finish off that big Spinarak with peck! Dayang, if he is still around take out their leader with tackle. If no hit the one on the left." Sophia quickly commanded, she wasn't about to let the enemy gain a valuable advantage over her. Sophia's pokemon nodded in response, before charging off to battle.

The spider trio could not believe the twist that had just befell them all. They had worked together perfectly as a group and because of that took out their arguably greatest foe. Needless to say they were jubilant over such a feat but as the pesky woman trainer interrupted the battle she seemed to bring the fainted Pokemon back to the realms of reality. The boss hissed ruefully as the other two Spinarak angrily hopped on the spot. Things had really turned against them this time. The Spinarak on Sophia's shoulder seemed rather heartfelt over how caring Sophia was to her Cyndaquil. It affectionately nudged its head against her as a means of gratitude. The idea of perhaps leaving with this wonderful woman who handed out free delicious treats and was so outstandingly kind to her Pokemon seemed like heaven almost to it. If she could just beat off the Spinarak trio it would know for sure her ability was unrivalled. With the Cyndaquil rejoining the free for all, the Spinarak began communicating in an increasingly nervous anticipated manner. This was cut short of course by Sophia's orderly commands to her Pokemon. As the group understood and enacted to follow said commands, the trio hit the decks and readied themselves for battle. It was likely this would be the end for them all. The end was coming a lot sooner than t hey had expected for one of them. Pachino flew up in the air and encircled the boss of the group. As it lined up its shot flawlessly, it came dive downing in for a feisty peck of its beak. The Spinarak boss took the blow and to its horror realised it could no longer go on. It moved its forelegs forward before slumping to the the floor and releasing an agonised cry. Now their boss had left them the other two Spinarak had lost all organisation. Dayang was next to hit in the battle. With the Spinarak being so confused it took advantage of it and jumped at the opportunity to attack. Placing the substitute to one side, it floated back into battle and did its best to gather up speed before ramming itself forcefully into the Spinarak on the left. The two Pokemon collided, leading the target to become unnerved. As it landed back on its feet, it twittered around in a frightened manner. That living doll thing revealed the Pokemon it had absorbed! It had no idea how Substitute worked and it was becoming so painfully obvious. Now without direction the two attacked different targets altogether as opposed to using their numbers to gang up. The recently attacked Spinarak thought best to attack the Cyndaquil that had been revived. Believing this could be some cheap illusion thrown in to confuse them, so the possibility an attack would make it go away seemed plausible. It shook its abdomen around wildly before lifting it above its body and shot out a restrictive webbing that constricted around Cyndaquil. The attack was hardly anything to write home about but Constrict had managed to lower the Fire Mouse's speed! Spinarak's fangs wobbled about as it chuckled to itself but the laughter was short lived as it realised all three of Sophia's team was still alive. And that the Cyndaquil wasn't some cheap confusing tactic; it was the real deal. The spider gulped as it could almost foresee what was going to happen next. The last remaining Spinarak on the right didn't quite like the fact the boss had suffered defeat at the hands of a bird brained Pokemon so decided to attack that. It opened its maw and shot out a painful looking needle that landed perfectly on the Taillow. For Pachino it felt like a rather awkward injection but nevertheless managed to shrug it off for the most part. With no Poison status inflicted the Spinarak became equally as sullen as its compadre, that Poison Sting was absolutely pathetic. Without their boss to encourage them on, they were nothing but a bunch of stragglers. Wild Triple Battle

Sophia let out a soft giggle as the Spinarak nuzzled against her. The woman softly scratched the bug type with her index finger, causing it to let out a bug like purr. A large smile was on her face, she truly loved making other people, and pokemon, happy. It was a shame that the she didn't have enough of the wonderful danish for everyone. That would have made everything better. The woman made a quick mental note to store more baked goods on her, to avoid battles like this in the future.
For a brief second she thought of offering the enemies a chance to flee, but she doubt they would accept it. They were rather hostile. Hopefully they would run away on their own accord. "Alright, I want all of you to hit the Spinarak on the left!" Sophia quickly commanded. She hated ganging up on the poor little pokemon, but she wanted to end this battle as soon as she could. There was no point in making any of the six pokemon fighting suffer. "Pachino use peck, Dayang follow up with another tackle, and Magnus take em out with ember when ever you get the chance!" Sophia commanded. Her orders were clean, crisp and easy to follow. She knew that this battle would be over soon, and hoped that they didn't gang up on her Cyndaquil again.
The fire on Magnus's back spiked upwards. Oh how he wanted to burn these little spiders to a crisp. Sure he hated grass types more then anything else, but these bugs did a pretty good job of pissing him off. As his two allies charged into battle, he let out a howl of fury and spat his flsmminh hot embers forward. Pachino gave a nervous tweet as he flew upwards, placing himself outside of the attacks range. "Magnus be careful! Please avoid hitting our friends!" Sophia called out, nervous that Magnus's rage may make him do something foolish.

The Spinarak on the left jumped as it heard Sophia's command. It barely understood human speech but it knew full too well what left and its own species name meant. Looking on in baited horror as the assortment of Pokemon that were before it, it cringed slightly as the individuals moves were called out. Peck was painful, Tackle was just infuriating but Ember... It shuddered at the idea of being brunt to a crisp. It wasn't like its boss who was unnaturally larger than the rest of its species. It knew that was going to be the end of it. Ultimately, what it failed to realise was that it was getting a hefty dose of its own medicine for it had, in the previous turn, so mercilessly ganged upon the Cyndaquil with the rest of its spider group. After this ordeal was over maybe it would reconsider such brutish tactics. Soaring upwards first, Sophia's Pachino was now the fastest after Magnus had its speed tampered with by the constrictive webbing. Not messing around with aerial acrobatics this time, it swooped upwards before dive bombing downwards with its peak thrust outward most. The dive bomb was a painfully direct hit and left the Spinarak in a much worse condition. It was really beginning to regret that ganging up it had done earlier. When they made it away and recovered it was more than going to give the boss a piece of its mind. Up next was that weird doll thing that kept changing its appearance. It had managed to take a hit from before ok so it wasn't feeling too threatened this time around. Unfortunately for it... Dayang was brimming with a heightened sense of energy. As it floated its way in the air towards the Spinark on the left, it came hurtling towards it with a rather overpowering Tackle. Dayang had landed a critical strike! Unbelieving it had been felled by the most non-threatening Pokemon opposing it; the Spinarak hit the dust without much resistance. The last Spinarak was now twitching about on the spot incredibly fraught about what to do next. The other two had just had their abdomens handed to them and it was up next. Realising the Cyndaquil was still struggling with with the webbing wrapped around its feet, it decided to take a chance and hit it once more. It opened its mouth and spat out a rather horrific looking needle. Unfortunately for it, it landed on its fiery back and failed to do anything noteworthy. It could almost be heard making a mental note to itself. Replace Poison Sting with something actually damaging. The glancing prick of Poison Sting had really set off Magnus now. The flames on its back were roaring brightly and it sent flying in the air a burning round of embers. These embers burnt fiercely than what normally Magnus coughed up; it seemed its ability had taken hold. They landed unceremoniously around the Spinarak and one even landed directly on. As the bug Pokemon was set alight from the heat, it began dancing around wildly to try and shake off the flames. As the embers cooled down, it was shocking to see the Spinarak was still conscious. Barely. It swayed from side to side and it was becoming ever apparent the next hit would be the felling blow. The Spinarak next to Sophia could be heard muttering something and shaking its head in a weary manner. The fact they had lasted this long was testament to how tenacious this group were. OOC: Just to be sure, when experience is handed out, it'd be divided by three right? So as opposed to them all going up by 9 levels it'd just be 3? I checked what Oak posted and it mentioned split exp gain but was using the higher levelled Pokemon as example. Just thought i'd get this straight for the next post.

"Pachino, would you be kind enough to peck the last Spinarak?" Sophia kindly asked her pokemon. The battle was almost over, and victory was in her grasps. The last Spinarak truly didn't have a chance, as Pachino had a rather good aim, and a strong beak to back it up. This left Sophia one thing to do, heal the pokemon. "Dayang, would you kindly heal yourself with synthesis. I shall take care of Magnus."
The playful Hoppip gave a little nod behind her creepy doll of a shield. The grass pokemon hummed softly as she drew the energies of the sun in. Small threads bursted out of her wounds, each golden thread shone brightly and seemed to be made of the sun itself. With the precision of a well trained doctor the threads began to stitch her wounds shut. Within seconds they dissipated into the air, leaving the grass type in pristine condition. Not even a bruise was left.
Meanwhile Sophia rushed to Magnus's side. The poor thing was hurt, although he would never admit it. With one hand the bibliophile rummaged through her pocket for medicine. The other hand scooping up a rather angry Cyndaquil. The little fire type flailed and cried out in rage. He really wanted to burn that little bugger off the face of the earth. "Stop that! I'm trying to help," Sophia cried out in response.
The woman eyes darted to Pachino, wondering how he was doing. The flying type was still in the middle of his attack. "Cynda!" Magnus cried on Sophia's hand. The woman let out a side of frustration and dropped her Cyndaquil to the ground. "Fine. Have it your way. Go use ember." Sophia sharply commanded, not to happy with her pokemon. The woman's eyes moved back to the Spinarak sitting on her shoulder. "At least you listen." The woman muttered to herself.

The final moments were now upon this long, drawn out battle. Having entered this expecting to come through tops as they had always done, the trio of arachnids had been served a humble lesson in humility and manners. The last remaining Spinarak was now trying to escape away as Pachino soared up in the air, fluttering gracefully as it drew ever closer, readying to peck with its sharp beak on the soft Spinarak's body. As it scuttled away barely, its many eyes were tightly shut, not wanting to see the horror that was approaching it from behind. Pachino would have delivered the coup de grace but Magnus, spurred on by its fiery rage at being ganged up upon, seared through the constrictive webbing that had slowed it down and sprinted determinedly to finish this off itself. The Spinarak heard the additional sound of Cyndaquil now dashing after it with bloodlust and tried to get away faster but only resulted in it tripping itself over its many legs. Pachino, who had nearly lowered itself into the back of itself and become a nice roasted dinner, pulled away just in time and exasperatedly retreated back to Sophia and joined with the rest of the group. It was ordered to Peck but with Magnus erupting like a volcano with rage there was no point in getting its own feathers seared off. Magnus finally caught up with the Spinarak and with a slap from its tiny arms, dabbed it around so that they were now face to face. Magnus wanted the Spinarak to feel what it had experienced upon being ganged up and it wasn't going to be merciful about it. The Spinarak cringed as Magnus' flames on its back began burning ever brighter and a strong light glowed from its mouth. A loud cough was heard and an intensely burning ember fired directly at the Spinarak with incredible speed. All that could be heard was the resounding smack of it crashing right into Spinarak's body and setting it on fire. If the Spinarak could have stood on its own legs it would be trying to roll itself around to distinguish the burning sensation but instead it passed out from the intense pain. Magnus' anger had been unleashed but at least the battle had been concluded. Wild Triple Battle

Although victory had been obtained ruthlessly by Magnus, the Spinarak that had made itself comfortable on Sophia's shoulder was now skitting about, overcome with absolute joy at the sight of these abusive bullies having a good beating served to them. Its mouth pincers rolled about as it happily cheered and it decided that Sophia was more than worthy of serving under. It crawled off her hurriedly and stood before her, admiring her with absolute reverence. It was hoping that Sophia was like other trainers it had seen visit and were in possession of a spherical metallic object so that she could whisk away the little spider. It looked hopefully and swayed merrily from side to side. Spinarak wishes to join your party! Do you accept? While Sophia was sorting out her Pokemon, off in the distance was Dusty and his trusty Kecleon who had just watched the entirety of the battle. "Daaaamn, Kec. This lady's good! Them stupid spiders had been bothering me for a while." He gestured his head with a nod to some stairs nearby. "I ain't in the mood for a battle after all that running and burglary so how about we just snoop off and deposit these in the underground safe?" Kecleon nodded with a twitch and the two began sneaking their way behind the various crates and barrels and soon descended their way down the stairs. What they had not accounted for was the delicately fine senses of the Spinarak. It had heard the small tremors of people moving off the in the distance and needless to say, curiosity soon took over the little spider. It turned its head to Sophia and seemed to beckon her to the other side of the warehouse where a flight of stairs descending downwards in what appeared to be a dark basement.
