Name: Luna Erik Ravensrook
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Trainer Type: Trainer
Hometown: Although born from Lavaridge Town, she was adopted into Johto's New Bark Town when she was one
Appearance: Luna's skin is pale, deathly pale. She appears more as a ghost then a human being. Her hair color is black and it reaches to the middle of her back. Her eyes are gold but they do not betray any emotion. Her wrists are adorned with scars from her past, some made by her and some made by others. Standing at 5'9, it seems unusual for her age but it doesn't seem to bother her.
She usually wears a fedora that belonged to her adopted father and a golden ring hailing from her real father who she received in a letter. Her clothing usually consists of dresses, the one she likes is a sleeved black dress that reaches past her knees. The sleeves reach to her elbows and the dress is decorated with designs that look a bit like lace. During the winter, the dress becomes longer, reaching just below her ankles. The sleeves reach to her wrists but the fedora stays. In fact, she always wears her fedora no matter the weather. On her feet are boots that cover the ankles and go an inch higher before stopping. They're boots designed for work but have a little bit of fashion in them but not enough to be noticeable.
Personality: Luna is anti-social, usually staying away from society unless needed. Her voice is usually a whisper, even though her soprano voice is something from heaven, as her adopted father put it. She sometimes lashes out when she isn't in a good mood. Being anti-social came from the fact she wasn't appreciated and she felt that the world would never accept her. Being anti-social also made her cold but this melts away when night comes where you see a different side of her.
When night comes, she comes alive. She becomes gentle and friendly, and approachable. She loves to sing at night and her voice rises to a haunting song, either taunting you or making you feel guilty, depending on what phase the moon is in. She is also kind to her Pokemon and treats them equally, something her adopted parents never did. Once dawn rises, this disappears, bringing you back to a cold Luna.
History: Luna Erik Ravensrook was born on October 31st, Halloween Night to Erik. Her mother died in childbirth and Erik was unable to care for her properly. Knowing she would be better off adopted by another family, he left her to the Nurse Joy in Lavaridge who transported the baby girl to a nearby orphanage. A couple adopted her when she was one. If Erik had known what would happen to his only daughter, he would've had second thoughts.
Luna's adopted father James was the only person who really loved her, her adopted mother Alyssa, was an alcoholic. She always came home drunk and plopped herself on the couch, passing out in the process. James always told Luna that Alyssa was not a successful person and told Luna the dangers of drinking at a young age. Although Luna never knew what that meant then, she knew that drinking adult drinks was bad for her and would make her addicted to the stuff instantly, setting her on the path of being unsuccessful. She didn't want to end up like Alyssa, Luna despised Alyssa over anybody else. Of course, Alyssa didn't care as she was drunk most of the time.
Six years later, Alyssa and James adopted twin boys, both three years older then her (She was seven, so the boys were ten) named Nathan and Jack. Jack adored Alyssa, Nathan adored James and nobody cared for little Luna. However, Nathan also cared for Luna while Jack ignored her. Nathan adored her and helped James take care of her while Jack preferred to be with Alyssa. Ironic that James never told Jack what he told Luna, but we will never know why he didn't. However, here is where Luna's abuse began.
It started with psychical abuse, as James began to walk out of Luna's life. Alyssa then took over Luna by doting on Nathan and Jack. Both were allowed to harm Luna in any way they could. Nathan couldn't bear to hurt his little sister but Jack took joy into harming her. Nathan tried to stop his twin brother but Jack was stronger then him, overpowering him. Alyssa did nothing against them, nothing to save Luna. They did some really horrid things to her and then she was forbidden to speak of it or worse would come upon her.
Luna was always in agony and despair, She took it out on the rocks and grass at the playground, tearing them out or throwing them away. She was always looking terrible and there were those who took it upon themselves to make fun of her. However, Celeste took the time to befriend Luna and tried to protect her from the bullies. She had a strong voice then and was a beautiful tomboy so the boys fell in love with her practically. Luna appreciated everything Celeste did for her but it was nothing compared to the abuse at home.
One day, Celeste saw firsthand what happened to Luna at home. Luna quickly shooed her away, warning her of the dangers of Alyssa. Celeste was determined to save Luna from her agony and told the police of the activity at Luna's home. It was a year before they found the appropriate moment to seize Luna, Nathan, and Jack from Alyssa. Luna was in Celeste's debt from that moment, but Celeste brushed it off, saying that was what friends were for.
Celeste's parents adopted Luna, making the two girls practically sisters. Celeste taught Luna to sing, even though she was already good. Nathan was also in the family, although Jack was taken to another family. Luna, Celeste, and Nathan loved each other, it was heaven for Luna, who had known little love until she and Nathan became part of Celeste's family.
Of course, time always goes on. The abuse left emotional and psychical scars on Luna. Her wrists were red from the cuts and she became the anti-social person she is today. Although she still cares for Celeste and Nathan, her true self, the self you see at night, is the one she shows to them. At sixteen, she left Celeste and Nathan to start her journey, giving her best regards to them. On the night before she left, a letter from her real father with a gold ring inside was delivered to her. The letter gave her a goal, to find her real father and become a professional singer like her mother.
Goals: Finding her real father and making him proud of her, become a professional soprano singer
Other Info: Erik was a composer, which she takes her middle name from. Her mother was a professional singer. Her mother was a soprano and Erik was a tenor, giving Luna the singing voice she has.
