Appearance: amber is rather thin, bordering 100lbs and is about 5'4". she normally wears long black jeans with black and white studded belt. as a top she wears old graphic t-shirt, over she wears a slightly tattered hooded sweat shirt and worn out brown leather jacket that used to belong to her brother. it is a bit big for and sometimes slips down her shoulder. for foot-wear she has simple shoe that are good for running and walking. she keeps a small brown rucksack for her belongings. over all she dresses for any weather or season by wearing easy to remove layers.

amber also has old scars all over her arms and legs, along with one over her left eye from all the time she 'fell down the stairs' as a young child. these scars vary in shape and size and are all very faint. other than the scars, the skin on her shoulders, nose, and chest are covered with freckles from being out in the sun all day. amber has has very short brown hair that she cuts herself. she has olive green eyes. she doesn't wear make-up or any thing in her hair.


Personality:due to her abusive past, amber has trouble trusting people, especially adults. however when she warms up to people she becomes one of the most loyal friends anyone could ask for. she is extremely fond of her older brother, tyler. she is usually content with traveling alone, but sometimes she gets very lonely and wishes she had some company. it's hard for her to make friends and is very quiet around new people.

despite all of this, amber is a real romantic. in her own head. once some one breaks through her hard exterior she is very susceptible to falling in love with them. most of the time this works out terribly for her, but she really can't help it. she also has a slight stutter. she is quite embarrassed of it. as a result she sometimes talks a bit slowly, as to avoid stuttering. though she really doesn't like that option much either.


History: Amber was born in cherrygrove city with a mother, father, and a bother tyler, who was about nine when she was born. she was always very close to her brother and was very dear to him as well. even though he was so much older then her, they would always play together. when tyler was fifteen and amber was six, tyler went on his first journey. later that year their mother died in a accident. tyler came home immediately, but couldn't stay long. he needed to deal with his grief on his own for a bit.

amber's father couldn't leave though, he had to take care of amber. so, instead he turned to alcohol. he started getting depressed, and when he was depressed he would drink. when he drank, he got angry and when he go angry, he hit amber. she tried to hid when he was drunk, but even if he didn't find her, she was terrified. sometimes tyler would come home, those time were good because their dad would sober up for his visits. she never told him what their father was doing, just begged him to not leave. he would smile, pat her head and tell her he'd be back home soon. the last time she had seen him was the month she ran away, she was fifteen and he was twenty-four. when he left that time, he gave her his leather jacket.

after so long in that house with her father, she could no longer stand it. she was convinced that she wouldn't live to see tyler again. her dad had almost broken her leg, dislocated her arm, and given her a nasty burn from the the stove on her hand in just that year. she feared that the abuse would escalate further. so, one night she packed a rucksack and ran. once she left she decided two things. one: she would find her brother, and two: she would become a Pokemon trainer.


Goals: she wants to reunite with her bother more than any thing.
