I've been aware you've been working on something for a looong time and to see the fruits of your labour all finished like this is just amazing. I had a brief look last night but i'm having a good look now and it looks fantastic. A real marvellous addition to the forum. ;D The whole rental aspect reminds me so much of Pokemon Stadium it's like a nostalgia rush at the same time.
I'll definitely get round to sending off an application when I have a minute. The allure of prizes always helps too. If I find out people haven't signed up I will personally hunt down people's addresses and start holding them at gunpoint. ಠ_ಠ

I plan on joining myself once I can find a good team for only 15 points that is going to be rough since the high point costers had bad moves and the little guys do not have as high of stats but really nice moves. If only my own team knew better moves I would use them but since I just got to Bugsy most of my team only know one good move at best so I will be stuck using mostly rentals and maybe one or two from my team if in the next few days one of them learns a good move. Anyone know the last day to register while I am at it. Instead of making a posting asking there I thought I would just add that question to this post just so I do not make back to back post when I could just ask here.
Edit: I am as blind as can be it was right at the top July13th how could I have missed that. Well that at least answered my question.

This is very promising, by the way. I really like the idea, despite that I'm not wild about more than a couple of the movesets on the rental 'mon. I gather that's probably intentional, akin to what was done with Pokemon Coliseum and its sequel games. At any rate, I hope a lot of people manage to sign up for this, in order to make it more worth the time- not that it could possibly be not worth the time, but better is better.
See you other contestants in the challenge ring! -grin-

Ah the good old 15 point benchmark. I know it may seem restrictive but it acts a really nice restriction to keep things a bit more balanced. Trying to come up with the best possible team in 15 or under is quite the challenge but enjoyable at the same time. At the end of the day, you don't get penalised for your choices. As Phoenix has pointed out in the guideline topics in the Tournament board and in the cbox, winning, losing, it's all good. Just as long as you participate you'll have won no matter what. This is very promising, by the way. I really like the idea, despite that I'm not wild about more than a couple of the movesets on the rental 'mon. See you other contestants in the challenge ring! -grin- It's a necessary evil. It sure will be funny having an Aggron or something similar trying to decimate opponents with Mud Slap though. While you have Pokemon such as Machop beating the seven bells out of everything with its nice list of powerful moves. At least at this rate it allows for unevolved Pokemon to have more of a chance at beating fully evolved if the cards are played right. Looking forward to battling too!

Actually, I wouldn't use most of the movesets on most of the 'mon, and when I say that, I mean most of all of them, not just the evolved ones.
Again, though, it does keep things interesting, I have a few ideas for ways to use those movesets that will likely work better across a group of 'mon than they would with the individual mon on their own. So it's not so much a complaint as a note that of all these movesets, I would have come up with, on my own, precisely none of these.

Just registered a little bit ago. I hope I made good choices given the fact that it was a pretty hard decision. I wish some of them had better move choices but again the bigger ones do have better stats so weaker moves can still do good damage against pokemon weak to them and Little Guys can beat bigger ones if used correctly. If only Metagross was one of the Rental Options.

If only Metagross was one of the Rental Options. Beldum is an option in case you may have missed it. And besides, if Metagross was added in, expect it to have a blinding moveset of: Confusion Cut Fury Cutter Pursuit ;D Nah, i'm just kidding. Actually I need to check out its base stat total, considering how tough it is.

Actually I need to check out its base stat total, considering how tough it is. I did notice it however I am not much of a Beldum user I raise mine to Metagross as soon as possible since Metagross has vastly better Attack and Defense ( Attack can reach over 400) so it can do pretty nice damage even with Metal Claw which could be one of the moves for a rental one since it would also get a STAB bonus. Sp Attack is not as nice but Confusion could still work. Then Iron Defense to raise it's defense even higher and just annoy you opponent with so much defense most attacks would be lucky to do anything decent. Finally Bullet Punch which would allow it to hurt other Steel types but still not have a lot of power. I will admit the Beldun Rental has good moves for it's size though. Anyways perhaps Metagross will make an appearance as a rental next time around hopefully.
