Name: Lillet Klein
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Trainer Type: Trainer
Hometown: New Bark Town
Appearance: -Click for Image-
Lillet is often thought to be younger than she actually is. She stands at only 3’11” and her chest is almost completely flat. She has a slender figure; her sister, Vivian constantly teases her because of this and calls her ‘scrawny’. Lillet’s skin is quite pale due to her rarely leaving the house. She has large brown eyes and black hair that falls just below her shoulder.
Lillet prefers to wear simple clothing. A white blouse with a cute skirt is the perfect combination in her mind; perhaps a jacket thrown over the top of it every now and then. She’s started to wear black leggings with her usual outfit ever since she decided to leave home to start out as a pokemon trainer. Her hair is normally tied up in a messy ponytail so it stays out of her face. She keeps all of her necessities in a beige bag that’s slung over her like a purse; though she absolutely refuses to call it a purse for some reason. The one thing Lillet is never without is her pair of orange framed glasses due to that fact that she’s near sighted.
Personality: Lillet is a bit on the shy side as a result of secluding herself for so long. She basically has to give herself a pep talk whenever she wants to go talk to somebody. While not very good with people, Lillet loves working with electronics. She’s immediately attracted to anything from a computer to a music player if she spots it in the room with her. While annoyed the fact that her PC is too big to toss into her bag and take with her on her journey, she hopes she’ll manage without it somehow.
Ever since they were young, Lillet and Vivian have always been looking for ways to tease and prank each other. While Lillet can normally get in a few quips about how ditsy Vivian can be, Vivian knows that the quickest way to get on Lillet’s nerves is to make comments on how short/flat chested she is. That’s easily Lillet’s biggest pet peeve and the quickest way to make her dislike someone.
Lillet has never really been the ‘athletic’ type. A lack of exercise of the years has left her out of shape. She doesn’t have that much strength or stamina, which makes things difficult for her if she’s being chased by something or needs to push something heavy out of her way.
History: Lillet Klein was born and raised in New Bark Town. Her parents, Oliver and Estelle, were rarely home since they both loved the sea and worked aboard the S. S. Anne. Therefore she was raised mostly by her older sister, Vivian, as well as their neighbors. While she often missed their parents, Lillet didn’t think she had it that bad. She enjoyed talking to the neighbors and looking at wild pokemon in the distance from her bedroom window. Life was peaceful.
As the years went by, Lillet shut herself in her room more often and interacted with people less and less. She was gradually getting more annoyed with people mocking her because she was growing so slowly. When coupled with everything she could do with her computer, as well as all of the books her parents kept sending her, the reasons to leave the comfort and safety of her room continued to dwindle with each passing day. Trying to get her to leave her room, let alone the house, was like pulling teeth by the time she was 15. It was getting to the point that the only way Vivan knew her sister was still alive was when she came out to grab a snack or use the restroom. She was at a complete loss for what to do.
One afternoon when Lillet’s stomach started rumbling, she made her way out of her room as usual to see what was in the fridge. On the way there she heard Vivian outside talking to one of their neighbors. Lillet heard her name coming up in the conversation. Curious, she crept over to the window to try to hear exactly what they were saying about her. “I just don’t know what to do with Lillet anymore,” Vivian sighed. “The way she’s living isn’t healthy. She has no plans for the future, no aspirations! I wish Mom and Dad were here to help. They would know what to do with her...”
Lillet froze as she listened to Vivian’s words. Had she really gotten that bad? She had an idea that that was how her sister had seen her for some time, but it stung to actually hear it said out loud. It changed something deep within her. She returned to her room without ever opening the fridge and started packing her bag. She would leave the house at dawn and ask the local pokemon professor for a pokemon of her own. Lillet would show Vivian that she could make something of herself by becoming a pokemon trainer.
Goals:
Other Info: Lillet is near sighted. Unless whatever she’s looking at is less than half a foot in front of her face, all she can see is blurry smears without her glasses.
