The sudden shock of the Starly all taking flight at once, cooing loudly startled Tanya into whirling around, wondering what all the ruckus was about. Her eyes narrowed on Starscream, who was right by the source of all the birds. He looked back at her and glared, telling her silently it was totally not his fault. The stupid little birds had freaked out over his presence and all taken off at once.
Still frowning at him, she didn't notice the Farfetch'd attempting to make its escape just behind her - however, Saphira did. The Charmeleon growled fiercely at the oddly more timid Farfetch'd, hoping to keep it in place as well as alert her trainer. Tanya turned back and looked down at the somewhat frightened bird, grinning deviously at it.
"Ohoho, nice try there slick. Unfortunately your day-off ends here," the trainer mused, lifting a ball from her bag and letting it fly. Ironhide sprang out again, landing amongst all the leaves with a very solid thud. He shook his head and snorted, bright blue eyes locked on Farfetch'd with purpose. His trainer had summoned him for battle and he would deliver. "Nail it with Metal Claw!"

Staggering onto his bright yellow webbed toes, the Farfetch'd shook subtly at the sight of the large flaming lizard who had decided to obstruct his escaping path... Seems like the leek wielding bird wasn't going anywhere fast. Waddling a step or two away from the flickering tail that looked as if it were about to burst alight and make the Farfetch'd into a tasty roast with a side of leek at any given moment, the Pokemon was ready to just hold up it's wings and be taken back to Sylvester with no trouble. The avian was lucky in some sense, however, as it didn't have to contend with the element of fire but instead it was about to face something much smaller but still packed a punch. Not that he knew that.
Gulping, the Farfetch'd raised up the leek, the bright green vegetable being a real help to pin point to bird within the shade of browns which surrounded them, the creature being safely camouflaged from the female trainer had it not made such a racket. Picking up it's feet, the small bird squawked out trying to sound as threatening as possible, it's weapon held up high in the air as it charged forward with little thought. Standing mere inches away from the helmet wearing Ironhide, the Farfetch'd slashed his leek downward as hard as possible only for it to bounce off just as fiercely, the Pokemon stiffening in shock and probably hurting itself more than vice versa.
Ironhide, on the other hand, felt pretty much nothing. Perhaps a little nudge to the head but nothing extreme. Adjusting the Rocky Helmet what sat upon his already hard noggin, the blue eyed creature sent a deathly glance through the musky air, pouncing backwards one space before charging forward himself. Raising his own tiny arm, the Aron took a strong swipe downward, the sound of metal tearing across the avians delicate wings overpowering his own cry of pain.

The loud ting that resonated from the point of impact where the Farfetch'd had struck at Ironhide was ridiculously comical, even more so for the fact that Ironhide didn't even blink. Nothing except rust-inducing water and powerful, muscle-based moves could harm him while he sported steel armour. Stupid bird.. did it want to meet its demise so swiftly?
His revenge blow tore off a large quantity of feathers, sending them scattering about. One landed on his head, plucked by Tanya who studied it silently. Brushing it with her fingers, it tickled against her skin with how soft and fine it was; somewhat like down. Smiling slightly, she tucked it in her pocket for no apparent reason before focusing on the wounded Farfetch'd.
Unlike the one she'd fought before, this one seemed a lot calmer and less inclined to truancy. Ignoring the slight twinge of guilt that wormed its way into her head, she flicked her fingers at the avian. "One more Metal Claw oughta do it, amigo," Tanya said to Ironhide, who snorted and began lumbering forwards once again.

Snorting, Ironhide watched the Farfetch’d carefully. It was fluttering around now, raising its leek in a threatening way, though it didn’t seem to faze Ironhide too much. The metal creature just stared at the pathetic bird’s attempts to scare him, it almost brought pity through the Aron’s skin…almost. Farfetch’d noticed the amusement that was shining in the Aron’s blue eyes, and it didn’t like it. Letting its leek drop to the floor, it brought its wings in and was engulfed in a white light, falling down like a comet and slamming into the Aron in an Aerial Ace attack. Though, the Rocky helmet was a retched thing indeed, the pointed stones that lined it digging into the bird’s feathers and making it croon in pain. Ironhide didn’t let it go either. He raised one of his claws and let the metal sheen overtake it before slamming it down on Farfetch’d, finishing his work. The creature watched as Farfetch’d fainted, leaving it out cold on the floor. “Aron…Roooon!” he cried, without even realizing it. It was loud and threatening, making him almost cringe. Was this roar? Still, he hadn’t perfected it, which told him his body was still trying to learn it, and it was up to Tanya to decide if he should keep the move. ______________________________________________________ Victory!~Farfetch'd has fainted! You can now take it back to Sylvester in Shady Glen! Ironhide grew to Level 23 and gained +1 happiness! He would like to learn Roar, but already knows four moves. Delete a move to make room for Roar?
