Side Quest Rules:
While on a side quest, your Pokémon will not be healed automatically so any damage or non-volatile status ailments (Freeze, Burn, Paralysis, Poison, Sleep) will be carried into the next battle (if more than one are involved). Hence, the only way to heal your Pokemon is through the use of items until you’ve completed the side quest.
You may pull out of the quest only in between battles but must start from the beginning again if you wish to try again. Items that you received the first time prior to pulling out will not be available the second time round. You cannot complete the quest multiple times unless there is a written exception.
Note, that you cannot already have a thread open before starting a side quest so finish your current thread and start a new thread in this sub-board to begin.
Burned Tower:
The Plot
To the north west of Ecruteak's rustic encompass lies a wreckage of a once grand tower. The desecrated structure is steeped in intrigue and rumour, with many of Ecruteak's residents each having a different take on the true nature behind the enigmatic ruins. What is concrete however is the fact a majority of tales all agree on that fact that it was originally known as the Brass Tower and a catastrophic fire burnt it down exactly 150 years ago to this day.
Other legends state this tower to be once home to the legendary Pokemon Lugia as a counterpart to Ho-Oh who lived in the tower to the east. When the great fire happened, Lugia reportedly took to the oceans in search of a new home while Ho-Oh disappeared in search of a pure hearted trainer. Yet despite their abandonment of these homes, rumours still persist of legendary beasts that hide within the ruins.
Despite all of the uncertainty over the true history of the Burned Tower, there is one man who is adamant that there is something special living within the wreckage. This enigmatic man is none other than Eusine, a self proclaimed hunter of legends. Standing at the foot of the tower, it is perhaps fate that your paths bump into one another...

Quest Objectives:
Introducing himself quickly and readily, the flashy dressed individual remarks about his certainty legendary Pokemon are to be found in this crumbly mess. Unspecific with their names, he merely states he has tracked them down to this tower. He implores you to venture forward and check for you both to see if such creatures really exist. For Eusine, he is more than happy to observe the mythical beasts from afar rather than fight them.
Depending on if you heed the eccentric male's words or not, you will have to descend down the wasted tower's structure to get to the heart of the tower's basement. Getting to the base of such a worn down building is a lot easier said than done however. Barely even before setting foot, appears to be two large individuals. Interrupting their firebreathing, the younger of the two reprimands the player warning them it is not safe to come into such a building whilst the older brother berates you for being in such a hazardous zone. They are willing to leave you alone if you can beat either one of them in a battle. The choice is between:
