Hearing numerous rustles from above along side Arbok slithering around and baring her fangs at seemingly nothing, the brunette couldnt help but let out a short cry as something fell from over head. Arbok jolted back as to avoid the falling creature as Sharada hopped from one foot to the other, "WHA-Wha' the heck?!" Eying the avian which was now sitting in the pile of leaves before her, the beating of it's lone wing and odd cackling meant that a look of confusion was able to spread across her face. Examining the Pokemon a bit closer, the chances of this bird being the thing what Sylvester was after was increasing by the second. It wasnt until her faithful Pokedex blurred out the necessary information that she clapped her hands together joyfully, "So thats a Farfetch'd huh?!"
Delphine shivered on her trainers shoulder nervously, clinging to Sharada's mass of hair as the brunette began to examined her belt to decide on whom to use. The chap had said earlier that a bit of violence was ok and if it were to get things done quicker then too damn right she was going to knock this thing out and just carry it with her. The last thing she wanted was for it to turn it's beak up and run off. Although having thought that, it's proud appearance and loud exterior could only portray it's willingness to battle in the first place so it was only polite for her to comply. Having spent far too long deciding on which Pokemon to use, Sharada eventually merely pointed forward, settling on using the beast which was right by her side, hissing and rattling her tail violently. "Alright, Arbok! I'm gonna let you have the lime light in this situation. Use Crunch on that bird and no need to hold back!"

Relishing the chances to sink its murderous fangs into something, Arbok eyed the meddlesome Farfetch'd with both excitement and intimidation. Coiling itself upwards with a straight slink to its back, the female cobra puffed out its neck to that its unique and fear inspiring pattern was visible. As rowdy as it was, even the Farfetch'd was swayed by this terrifying look and cowered back a few steps, leek trembling between its longer wing feathers. It was at this moment of weakness that Sharada's Arbok took the opportunity to assault the bird. Getting the drop this early on in the game meant that they'd be that much closer to getting out of this eternal forest. Inching backwards slightly while the lower half of the reptile remained coiled into a roll, Arbok lurched forward with a lightning fast lunge as its jaws dislocated to accommodate for the size of the goose. It wasn't long before the cobra had got within chomping distance and in a matter of split seconds, the forest was startled by the resounding echo of an unmistakable crunch. The woods fell silent for a couple of moments before the tranquillity was disturbed yet again not by another crunch but this time the incessant squawking of the Farfetch'd crying out with how painful its sword arm was feeling. Sure enough, Arbok had purposefully aimed for the Pokemon's arm that was carrying the onion leek weapon. Perhaps it knew that it was a proficient battler by using the deceptive vegetable or it was all that it could bite down on but nevertheless, the Farfetch'd was now in a troubling predicament. Its leek had fallen to the floor and it was being crunched apart by the viciously thorough snake. Feeling its senses failing, it knew it had been struck with a superior critical blow. All that it could do was stretch out its free wing and pray to whatever deity would listen that it had a stab of bonking it on the head to let go. Stretching, stretching, stretching, it almost seemed impossible but a sudden jolt to the left meant that the Farfetch'd had struck lucky. Using its lengthy feather like fingers, the avian lifted it up and with a crescent like swipe, slashed over the top of Arbok's head, causing it to let go. Hissing and retreating back to Sharada's feet, the Farfetch'd watched the Arbok back down. Raising its sword in its untrained arm, the bird knew it was in trouble. Farfetch'd Encounter #1

Sharada smirked slyly as her equally as sly serpent became thrilled in her own way about being able to take part in this battle against the Farfetch'd. After watching the skirmishes between her other Pokemon it was no wonder that Arbok also wanted to have a good battle herself. Now that her chance was before her, the snake wasnt going to let it go very easily. Stretching her hood lined with threatening colours in a certain pattern, that was enough of a warning for anyone and anything that she meant business. Even if this avian already belonged to someone and it needed to be brought back in a somewhat safe condition. Arbok didn't care.
Eyes narrowing as she focused on the battle, Sharada could feel Delphine fidgeting about on her shoulder, the young Ralts shivering nervously as her crimson red eyes watched the battle with great caution. Though poor Delphine jumped out of her skin as Arbok sprang into action with her parted jaw. Pearly white fangs sinking into the wing of the Farfetch'd and making it squawk out in absolute agony. His cry was so loud that it even made Sharada jump a little, snapping her out of her grim glare and into a more neutral face. Turning slightly, she carefully nudged Delphine with her cheek, trying to give the nervous creature some support, "Chin up, eh? You'll be battling all on your own one day aswell."
Looking a bit unsure about herself, the matter of Delphine's under confidence was pushed to the back once again as this time it was the turn of Arbok to let out an uncomfortable wail. As she hissed and bolted backward defensively, Sharada eyed the Farfetch'd to decide her next attack. It didnt look as energetic this time around though and judging from Arbok's evil glare she really wanted to eat this thing whole. "Alright Arbok, use one more Crunch! Try not to completely destroy it though, we do need to take it back to Sylvester in one piece!"

It had well and truly got this lackadaisical bird on the run. Having proved superiority over it in strength already in the previous round it only needed to seal the deal with another crunchy bite. The Farfetch'd was all too knowing of this fact as well and its usually rebellious eyes were now fraught with that of fear and torment. Hopping about on the spot while trying to nurse its wounded wing, the goose was also secretly trying to plot its path to freedom. However, it was about as obvious as the situation had become. Hissing between her lips, the feisty Arbok was aware of this fact and slowly lifted itself from side to side as if to block of any chance of exit. Letting out a sigh and drooping wearily, the Farfetch'd had just about accepted it wasn't going to be relaxing itself any time soon. Looking at the trusty onion leek in its untrained wing, the Farfetch'd pained an expression of absolute misery. As much as it loved its leek it might be the only chance it had of escaping. Leaning back and pulling its wing back, the avian lobbed it forward in a feeble attempt and began running. Outraged that it was facing such a cowardly foe, Arbok coiled out like a whip and sunk her piercing fangs into the Farfetch'd's buttocks. As it did, it let out a terrible squawk and fell unconscious almost immediately. It may have been a trouble making nuisance but it hardly had any guts or courage to back it up. If there was anything to be learnt from this escapade it was that a firm hand was needed to keep the unruly in check. Farfetch'd Encounter #1
