"Alright Santeri! We did it!" Andrew shouted.
The bird Pokémon grinned happily. Andrew ran over to his Pokémon and hugged him.
He looked at Joey's disappointed face.
"That was a good match," he smiled.
"Speeeaaar," Santeri nodded in agreement.

Joey recalled his pokemon in a flash of light and it disappeared within it's pokeball. "Hmp... next time I'll crush you!" Joey turned and began to walk away from Andrew, his face very upset at his loss. Joey quickly ran off for the nearest pokemon center to get help for his rattata.

Andrew decided it would be best to leave Joey run off. He was in a great mood since he had just won his first trainer battle. It was still quite early in the morning. A gentle wind blew through Andrew's dark, spiky hair. He really wanted to get to Cherrygroove City soon.
"Better head off, guys." he said, cheerfully. He returned his Pokémon to their Pokéballs and marched off towards Route 29.

 Hoot hoot watched as Andrew kept walking, it tilted it's head and fluttered after the trainer. It was rather interested about watching this trainer. hoot hoot had taken interest in this guy after his battle and it was considering to battle this trainer. It wanted to evolve into Noctowl and battling trainers was the only way to do this. |

Andrew heard a noise from above him. He looked up to find a Hoothoot watching him.
"Maybe a bit of training could be good after all," he said to himself. "Alright, it's your turn Glint!"
He threw a Pokéball up into the air. As the ball opened, a Squirtle emerged.
"Squirtle squirtle" it chanted. It appeared to be pumped for a fight.
"Okay, Glint. Use Bubble!" the trainer roared.

Hoot Hoot flew into the air and dodged the bubbles as they flew past Hoot hoot it growled charged head on. Hoot hoot scratched at Glint dealing some light damage before flying, back away and into the air. Hoot hoot darted side to side constantly, trying to make sure it didn't let it's self be vulnerable to enemy attacks. Battle

"This battle may be tougher than I thought," Andrew cried. "Come on! We can do this!" he yelled. "Try another Bubble attack!"
Glint took a deep breath and heavily blew multiple bubbles at the foe. It aimed more carefully this time, so it wouldn't repeat its previous mistake.

Glint fired bubbles in waves, Hoot hoot dodged left and right, left and right doing it's best to avoid them all but after two or three attacks Glint hit Hoot hoot hard! Causing it to fall a little in flight, though it caught it's self before it hit the ground and so hoot hoot used scratch on glint! hitting it for another light attack! Battle

Glint bounced back as Hoothoot clawed it.
"Great work, Glint! Now use Tackle!" the trainer shouted.
Glint rushed at the bird Pokémon quickly. Its steps were loud but fast. It jumped at Hoothoot attempting to reduce its hit points.

glint nodded to Andrews command and charged forward with tackle. Hoot hoot was fast however and flew Glint scratching it from behind, however Glint slammed its head backwards and hit Hoot hoot with a powerful tackle attack! showing hoot hoot it was not to be messed with! Battle

Glint stood its ground firmly. It glared at the wild Hoothoot!
"Keep up those tackles!" Andrew ordered.
"Squirtle!" the little blue Pokémon yelled.
It charged at the Hoothoot again with another powerful attack.

Hoot hoot swooped in for a flyby scratch attack, Glint charged with tackle as a counter measure and both pokemon struck each other with a powerful force. Battle

Both pokemon eyed each other for a long moment before charging into battle, neither letting up on the intensity of their attacks. Glint pounded away at Hoot hoot who countered with a lightning fast scratch attack, neither pokemon were in anyway ready to give up the fight! Battle

"That's it! It's getting tired," Andrew said, grinning. "Use another Tackle!"
Glint nodded and watched the wild Pokémon. It seemed to be moving in a particular pattern. Glint stood still, keeping it's eye on the Hoothoot. It suddenly burst forward, racing towards the bird Pokémon.
