S.S Oceania Key Areas;
S.S. Oceania Progression;
There isnt a set layout of the ship that the trainer needs to follow and can travel to any room at any time within reason (except the Captain's Cabin/Treasury). If the RPer would like to reap the full rewards, however, a loose order of progression is given:
◌ Begin by leaving the streets of Goldenrod and exploring the Main Deck of the S.S Oceania. There are no trainers to interact or battle with here, only Pokemon which may fly in, wander from the streets or climb out from the ocean. Beware! If consistent battling occurs in this area, there is a chance of a destructive force tearing up from the ocean depths.
◌ After having your fill of wild Pokemon battles on the main deck, the trainer can venture down to the Entertainment Area. Although parts of the ceiling and walls have crumbled in, the floor is still perfectly stable, even if it does feel as though you are standing at a slant. A bar sits sturdily along the back wall, pool table propped up with boxes in the center of the room to stay straight and what seems to be some sort of stage or dance floor in the opposite corner. The interior should be the least of the trainers concern, however, as several Team Rocket members lurk the room.
This room holds two doors; one which leads to the Bridge and the other opens to steps which lead the trainer down to the Lower Deck.
◌ (Optional) By going through the door next to the bar once all the Rocket grunts are taken care of, the trainer is led to the Navigation Bridge. During the day it is but an empty room holding the helm that once steered the ship. If one is brave enough to visit this room during the night, a ghostly apparition may be there to welcome them.
◌ The second door in the Entertainment Area leads down a spiral metal staircase and into the Lower Deck. The wooden floor here is much more delicate so careful footing is needed. The rear end of the room takes a mighty dip and several wooden panels have been completely destroyed, allowing water to flow in until a certain point and trainers to fish into the depths of the wreckage. A lone Rocket member resides in this room, using the run down area as a canvas for spray painting the Rocket's R logo and pinning up menacing posters. Fidgeting with an incredibly large poster, the trainer needs to defeat this grunt to be able to fish here.
◌ By figuring out the puzzle of the Lower Deck (which will be given in a modded post), the trainer can visit the Captain's Cabin. Upon entering the room, the trainer is met with lavish surroundings and decorations. Two pairs of bunk beds sitting on either side of the walls, royal red rug sprawled across the wooden floor, a round table in the center of the room and numerous treasures, vases and jewels dotted a top of cabinets and regal stands. Depending on the time of visit, up to four people (including Sharada) can be found sitting around the table. The only options they give you is if you'd like to run, battle them one at a time or take part in two double battles. Once all battles are complete the group runs off, one of them accidentally dropping the key to the treasury (hints of the hidden doors location will be given by mod).
◌ Opening the door to the Treasury, piles of stolen goods can be found alongside a lone treasure chest. As Rockets will not freely had out prize money, the player can either pick up cash, a Nugget or Pearls from the collection. If the trainer tries to get too greedy a pair of Sableye will form and attempt to protect their goods. If the trainer succeeds in defeating them or loses, the naughty pair will kick you out of the room regardless.
