Considering there's quite a few so far throughout the generations, what sort of Pokeball would you design if given the chance?
I for one would definitely love to see something that levels the Pokemon you capture by a whole single level. That or applies a bonus EXP increase when the caught Pokemon battles. Call it a Growth Ball or Level Ball.

Well if it were me, I'd come up with a Pokeball that increases the stats of a specific type of Pokemon. captured in them Like a Psychic Ball, a Thunder Ball (ext)

Hmm....or maybe an Ice Ball, or a Water Ball.

As Dani's changed the weather, the idea of weather based Pokeballs seems like something different. Similar to how Dive/Dusk balls work with their respective environments, a Sand Ball would work exceptionally well during Sandstorms, a Rain Ball would work superbly during heavy rain and Sun Balls would excel during sunny weather. Oh and can't forget Hail. Hail Balls would improve the catch rate during hail.
I have some really cool designs in my head which I wish I could sprite out but haven't got the chance to at this moment.

Joey...those are good ideas, If I could make my own Pokeball I would like one that bases its capture ability on types. So if you were battling a grass type you would have a Grass Ball, or dragon type you would need a Dragon ball. Of course just like in the games I would like them to be different rarities. If certain types are hard to find, the balls that would boost the capture rate would also be harder to find. Anyways I kinda liked the idea. But I really liked the increase stat ball that was a cool idea.

Training Ball- EV earned doubles, on top of Macho Brace and Pokerus, might need to work calculation carefully to not overdo a certain EV. also not applicable to breeding pokes.
can't think

I have not had a problem posting using my iPod yet so I hope this post continues the streak. First off I love the weather and element based balls. It would be awesome to see them added as ZZ exclusive items. I also like the bonus exp ball as well. As for my own custom ball I would probably make a ball that allows you to give a gender to gender less Pokemon with legendaries being the exception. My other choice would be a ball that can change a pokemon's type based on a element like ball so for example Charzard could become a Dragon Fire type or for Pokemon with one type they can become a dual type such as Blastoise becoming a Water Steel type. I will admit the second ball may make balencing even worse but alternate sprites could be given to Pokemon captured by the ball so you could tell what it's type is. I do not know how well my ideas would work but a Dragon Fire type Charzard is a slightly better typing than Dragon Flying as Charzard looks more like a Dragon than a bird.

I would make a Pre-Evolution ball, that makes first forms of Pokemon easier to catch. It would be very helpful, especially for near the beginning of the game and for Pokemon with only one form, including the legends.
