Why do you wish to be the adoptive trainer? As a dragon tamer, I seek out dragon types and those within the dragon egg group. They have power only tamers like me can bring out. This ekans is one such creature. How could I pass him up?
Also, he’s been there for over a month. His cunning mind has had plenty of time to devise a plan to eat his caretaker, Amber Lynn. He’s waiting for one slip up and BAM! The snake’s around her neck! Every day the ekans is not trained is one day closer for tragedy to strike! In the interest of the lady’s safety and the continued operation of this fine institution, I will volunteer to train this pokemon.

I'm sure Ekans can grow in your care, and don't worry about me, I'm very experienced in handling pokemon and this is certainly not the first nor won't it be the last ekans I have handled. Besides, its way too small to eat a full human.
