On the outskirts between Ecruteak and Olivine, the famous MooMoo Farm hosts a multi-acre farm with a multitude of Miltank. Lush green grass, a ranching fence and a humble barn and home dot the landscape, giving one a good home feel. The farm is most famous for their MooMoo milk, a delicious drink that also has health benefits for humans and Pokemon alike. Did we mention it’s delicious? The farm is owned by a family with two twins, who single-handedly milk the Miltank and bottle the goods for the enjoyment of not only Johto, but many other regions.
To attempt this quest, you must have completed The Happiness Quest in Cherrygrove City.
Upon reaching the farm, a sense of urgency and dismay is thick in the air. The amount of Miltank in the field has dwindled, and all of them seem to be sad and upset. Feeling you could help, you approach the ranger leaned against a fence post, muttering to himself angrily. He turns and greets you, and after a few moments of hesitant conversation, he explains his prized Miltank has fallen ill. He sends you into the barn to examine the Miltank and speak to his two twin daughters.
The twins explain the situation. MooMoo has recently fallen ill, and the family believe that a pack of Pokémon who often venture onto their land have been scaring her. The ranger kindly asks if you’ll battle the pack to keep them out of the farm. Agreeing to assist him, you’re sent back outside to the route leading to Olivine City. There you’ll find the dynamic duo, Ponyta and Raticate. Upon beating the pair, you’re faced with Tauros, the leader of the pack.
