You might want to hold onto your hats folks because there's not one but TWO huge features being implemented to entice people into using estates as well as existing owners...
It has been a long time coming, almost too long to bear but finally the ability to cultivate, farm and produce your own berries is dawned upon us. As long as you are the proud owner of an estate (The price now cemented at £25,000 as opposed to £50,000) you are entitled a number of berry plots just ripe for growing your own produce. Should you pay out of your own pocket or use the badges you have collected in the RP, you can have more land made available to grow berries.
But there's more. If you're not the green fingered gardening type, perhaps the chance to rent off the land to those perhaps not fortunate or in need of an estate will tickle your fancy. All the money you get from leasing out the berry plots on your estate will go straight to your own balance. No meddlesome middlemen involved! However, to stop passing by travellers from being ripped off, there is a maximum amount a land owner can charge. Either way, it's a win-win situation for both.
A huge thanks goes out to Nada for providing the immense foundations and system of berry growing. The fruits of her efforts (No pun intended, honestly) can be viewed in the newly updated second post of the Berry Guide in the Library board.
To view the low down on how the berry system works in the estates, head down to this topic.
And if that wasn't enough...
Engineered by latani, she has come up with the novel idea of estate owners being able to prowl around their premises looking for notable items that may have been dropped by passing trainers and Pokemon or even hidden away beneath the earth. With a wide variety of different items to be dug up and even greater prizes being available should you rent out a dowsing machine, this bi-weekly event is sure to become a nice addition to owning your own land.
If you're looking for more information revolving around the new feature, be sure to read through this topic.
That's all for now but stay tuned as it seems the gears are in motion for yet more to come... What that is... Who knows...?
Thanks for reading,
