Joey entered the Pokemart and looked around gleefully. This store was loaded with tons upon tons of expensive Pokemon gear and all of it seemed to tempting to just swipe and stuff away in his pockets without paying. He shook his head to himself and kept his hands firmly in his pockets to prevent his hands from straying off and pinching something off the shelves. As he walked through a couple of aisles he found something that piqued his interest. "And Old Rod huh...?" He murmured to himself and then began imagining all the different Pokemon he could get from casting with it. It reminded him back to his childhood days in Kanto when he used to sit by the beach and just fling a pretend rod made out of string and an old branch into the deep blue sea. He grinned to himself and picked up an Old Rod and slung it over his shoulder as he walked over to the counter. He looked cheerfully at the shop attendant and slammed down his purchase.
"One Old Rod please!" He grabbed some Pokedollars out of his pocket and shoved it on the desk.

The shop attendant reached below the counter and pulled out a splintering peice of wood with a string tied crudely around it. An adhesive that appeared to be just chewing gum was used to keep the string in place and to prevent it from sliding up the shaft. The sinker, shaped like a Pokeball, bobbed up and down as he spoke.
"Here you are buddy! There's a one day warranty on this item so if it breaks, it better break today."

Joey looked at the Old Rod that the shop attendant handed to him and stood there in shock with his jaw open in amazement by how crudely made it was. After a few moments he realised the shop attendant was looking at him and he snapped out of it and picked up the rod. "...One day warranty, huh...?" He examined the rod in closer detail and began to ponder if this could catch anything at all. "That's a pretty generous warranty length!" He said sarcastically before placed away the rod in his inventory. He laughed and shrugged, for the price he paid he should have expected something of this calibre. His tone changed to a more grateful tone and he thanked the shop employee. "Thanks all the same." He turned around and made his way out of the shop, hoping to start fishing right away.
OOC: Hope you don't mind me RPing here, it just seems to liven up the whole buying process. I absolutely loved the one day guarantee though. ;D It has me grinning like a madman right now.

Amalia slowly walked into the PokeMart, looking around slowly with her Charmeleon by her side. Noticing the plethora of items in stock, she smiled brightly. She then noticed an Old Rod, tilting her head to the side. From what she heard, it attracts only Magikarp. She smiled more and nodded to herself, thinking that it was better bumping into a Magikarp then none at all.
She walked towards the counter, leaning in slightly. "Hello? I would like to by 5 Ultra Balls and that Old Rod, please." she exclaimed politely.

"Here you go. That'll be £2625," the shopkeeper said handing them over to her.
After Amalia had walked out of the shop he muttered to himself, "Rich *****. I couldn't have afforded that much!"

Amelia walked into the Pokémart, googling at the wide range of stock.
She walked straight up to the counter and noticed a large poster above the shopkeeper. It had a fishing rod on it with the price underneath it £500! What a bargain!
"5 Ultra Balls please," she said politely. The Pokémart in Cherrygrove didn't have Ultra Balls and she had heard that they caught pokémon better than Great Balls!
"And the Old Rod, I think I'll get that too!" she added.
Same deal as before, I won't update myself until I am about to catch a pokémon/fish. I dunno whether to update myself or not :/

Smelling an opportunity to make some much needed money in his bid to fight the Rockets at Azalea Town, Joey decided it was best to invest some money to make some more. He stepped before the Pokemart and looked up to the sign. "Hope you guys have got enough stock..." He waltzed in coolly, trying his best not to raise TOO much of a commotion about his appearance but Joey being Joey, couldn't help but want to be noticed. He walked up to the employee and rested his elbow and head on the glass cashier's register. "Say, I know this will sound like bit of a bulk offer but... How's about you supply me with 10 Pokeballs?" He looked at the cashier's face and realised he may have started to get the wrong impression about Joey's intentions. "Oh! OH! No, don't worry. I'm not robbing you. Here..." Joey dived into his pockets quickly and dumped the huge wad of cash on the register. "That'll cover it, I hope?"
To be updated:
Buying x10 Pokeballs
Oh and if this is anything like the games... Does a free Premier Ball get shoved in as a bonus? If not that's fine all the same. ;D

Ding.Sliding doors opened automatically as a young girl in a red and white dress-like outfit entered the store. It was obvious to tell that this girl was a Pokemon trainer, even if she kept herself in a cute condition. The travel bag was sturdy and covered in many (somehow law defying) pockets that could carry everything she needed for her journey. Nadia could feel the money burning in her change purse. She just got a forward income from her parents to help provide support for her journey and she thought it was due time to stock on plenty of supplies. This might dig deep a bit, but it would be worth it. The girl browsed through the stores silently after picking up a shopping basket. The store was a little on the small side, but that didn't mean that Nadia didn't browse for prices between the products. She looked for the better product for the cheapest price. But being a corner store, all similar items were roughly the same. She grabbed some snacks for herself and her Pokemon first, but nothing more than that to consume. She then moved on to the actual journey items, the heart and soul of a trainer's journey. She grabbed what seemed to be a ton of items before coming up to the counter. Removing the contents from the basket, the following items were found. : X2 (200) : x4 (940) : x3 (1,275) x6 (630) : x5 (1,000) : x5 (1,250) : x4 (2,000) : x1 (500) MAGICAL TREATS: PRICELESS Grand total: $7,795

The Pokémart employee had obviously been smoking too much of the 'good stuff'. Just a minute ago, he had closed his eyes for a blink with a girl walking around the store and a man standing in front of him. He opened his eyes again and jumped backwards in shock. Three people stood there, ready to hand over their hard-earned cash! He accepted the money and closed his eyes again. When he opened them, a poster had appeared on the back wall, probably placed there by the store owner who popped in occasionally to put up posters with special offers detailed. He examined it closely and then closed his eyes once more. He opened them and noticed a new person perusing through the shelves... That, no joke, took 30 minutes!

The sliding doors gave a chime as suspicous looking man in a white jacket and glasses walked in to the Pokemart. He had what he wanted planned out as he entered, so he was quick to pick up what he needed, which wasnt much. 2 Pokeballs and two potions. He headed towards the counter, but something caught his eye. The Old Rod. Trevor Thought for a moment. "A water type would be a useful addition to my team... A fishing rod sounds like it'd do the trick." He picked one up before heading back to the counter and setting his stock on the table, along with the money for it.

The gangly teenager manning the cashier hadn't even finished counting the money he had gotten off the previous customers (he was having trouble counting after £10,000) when he heard yet another one of them trainer come up to him with a wad of cash in hand. The cash register had really picked a bad time to go bust, just as he had picked a very inopportune moment to try out some of the good stuff that he was pretty sure was going to get him the pink slip when and if the ladyboss who ran this place ever found out. Yeah, she was a tightly-wound b*tch, but damnit, she was paying him his party money.
He peered at the trainer's cash scrutinizingly, trying to clear his mind of the high he was on and clumsily thumbed through the wad he was holding just to attempt to make sure that they weren't being cheated before halfway-dismantling the counter's innards in his frantic search for a calculator. After a good five minutes of riffling papers and clattering drawers, he managed to find one ancient beast which looked outdated from the 60s and had a fine layer of dust covering the numerals area. This he blew off, almost by accident into the customer's face as he looked through the list and keyed in the prices.
"'Kay dude. That'll be uh...around £1110." He murmured sleepily as he bagged the merchandise and handed it over to the trainer, almost dropping it on the floor in the process.
"Have a nice day!"

It was pretty much the crack of dawn, the time of day when the early birds were already scurrying about. And for once, a certain teenage girl was one of them. The sleepy, early morning shift worker at the mart was a woman in her mid 30s, with scraggly, limp, dirty blond hair snarled from sleep. Her tired brown eyes were blurry with sleep as she shuffled around the store, adjusting items here and there.
She went to the door and flipped the 'Closed' sign to 'Open'. Turning around, she proceeded towards the cash register. Barely five seconds later the bell alerting her to a customer dinged cheerfully, surprising the woman into turning around.
But she only caught sight of a head of auburn hair ducking down the various aisles. Shrugging, the employee finished her trek to the counter and signed into the system before eyeing the only customer. What was someone doing up this early? It was suspicious. The woman glanced at a monitor displaying videos from the various security cameras, but they were of no use - the customer was already heading toward her, head down.
A blue, unmarked basket full to the brim with various goods, was placed gently on the counter with a thud. The woman, whose tag identified her as Lydia, leaned over to look at the customer.
Sparkling, gem green eyes stared back, from under a wavy mane of reddish-brown hair. She smiled impishly, fishing around in her jeans pocket for, presumably, her wallet. Lydia sighed and began to sort through the items, scanning each one. As she finished, she peered at the screen, and then glanced over at the teenager.
"That's going to be £4300," Lydia said in a bored voice. The girl nodded and unzipped her wallet, causing the Rainbow Wing charm to swing wildly. Under her breath she could be heard counting her money, which distended her wallet's usually flat shape, before she reached in with slim fingers and pulled out a fat wad of cash.
Lydia's eyes bugged out of their sockets. That amount of money was more than she paid for rent alone. But nevertheless, she accepted the money and rang up the register, placing the money inside and printing out a receipt. "Have a nice day," she told the girl, who grinned and nodded again. She put the items into a navy blue bag, returned the basket to an empty metal bin, and hurried out of the store, leaving Lydia to wonder just how much Trainers made these days just by battling.
Maybe she'd be a Trainer too.

Holden quickly entered the pokemart and chose his wanted items. He selected an Old Rod, one Great Ball, and two Super potions. He then took his items to the clerk paid for them(£1135) and left in a hurry.

Lydia was ready to break for lunch and pack up to head home when another Trainer hustled into the store. It was a few days after her brush with the rich little redhead who'd dropped more than her rent on several items at once.
This boy seemed to know what he wanted, or he was just quickly restocking his supply of items. He hurried to the counter with his goods, which the dirty-blond haired woman scanned and totaled for him. The boy paid for his purchases and was out of the store in a flash.
She blinked, fake eyelashes just brushing her cheeks. With a sigh, Lydia counted out the money he'd handed to her, just to be sure he hadn't stiffed her. Satisified, the clerk opened the register and placed the bills in neatly, then shoved the drawer back and began to shuffle around the counter to sort out the shelves customers often messed up while looking around.
