Moderator Rewards

I wanna give a mod point to Lunar. ^^ She has been helping me by replying to my thread and obviously, to countless others. She has been a great help around the forum.

Alright, this is starting to confuse me a little and it's getting difficult for me to add up the points. 0_o
So perhaps I'd like to just post a small reminder about how the system should work. The player awarded mod point should go to only one Moderator and that person must have moderated you in the last 24 hours. This is so that people aren't just awarding Points to the Moderators that they like.

In designing this system, I wanted to try and encourage Mods to moderate a variety of different people each day so they can receive a few extra Mod Points from different people. It was my intention that everyone had an equal chance of being modding so that we don't have a senario where a few members are left waiting a long time for replies while others progress quickly through the roleplay.

Also, this additional point should be awarded to a Moderator for a post of outstanding quality and shouldn't really be awarded for hardwork (as you already are rewarded for that). By rewarding a particular Moderator with this Point you are saying that a particular post of theirs stood out among the rest of the replies that you've recieved in terms of creativity, length and has enriched your roleplaying experience overall.

Anyways, I'm not too fussed about it all and it's a great that we have such a close community here but I just thought we should start to keep things a bit more organised so that once our site expands and we have more Moderators and members we'll have a solid working system in place.

Finally, I'll be cleaning up/deleting a few earlier posts to keep everything organised and up-to-date. If you are a Moderator, remember to keep a small tally of the number of times you've modded for the day so that you can continue to earn your points.

Sorry about voting for a mod who had not modded me Oak. I was just impressed by the hardwork he'd been getting up to.

As for my vote today... Morrigan gets it for the following reasons. She was busily replying to others yesterday and had a pretty busy schedule yet she took the time out to reply to me and while she was rushed it did not reflect in her post.

That's alright mate. ^^ Sorry for sounding a bit strict about the rules. I just wanted to bring it back to how I intended it to be. Anyways, this is still early days for this system so we're all guinea pigs at this stage.

It's perfectly fine. Always remember, if things begin to veer off track from what you intend then whip everyone back into place. You are the main administrator after all and this place exists purely because of your grand design. If people start taking too great a liberty with it then it distorts it and ultimately buggers it up for everyone.

Anyways, my main reason for posting in this topic is for awarding Morrigan a mod point. She kindly replied to my posts recently and put a lot of effort into them.

Nah, Phoenix, you've been doing well lately. I see that you've modded quite a few threads and plus you have that secret thing going. If anyone, it's me that hasn't been pulling my weight recently. Some of the updates have been long overdue such as houses, Team Rocket. I'm going to be busy again tomorrow but Wednesday I'll be back and I'll mod a few threads + announce something special for the members.
