Yuki Noma I had my eye on this rat. The purple mouse, although weak now, would be a good asset compared to the wurmple. The use in the wurmple was rather more or less for connection between different kinds of pokemon, and to surround myself with something different. I guess it was because I was new at this, but something compelled me to catch every pokemon I saw and make friends with each and every one of them. I knew I couldn't own every one of them, but I wanted to try and own one of each that I liked enough. It would be expensive one of these days, but for now, I was quite content with the idea.
With clear skies above me, I was happy to see this rattata before me, using it's speed to it's advantage just to avoid my Pikachu. Despite this, Pik was much faster. Pik had did as I told despite the condition I put him in. It seemed that it didn't bother him at all. It made me quite content with his skill. "Alright pik hold back and avoid the rattata." I gave him the command, as I didn't want him to get attacked by the rattata in case this didn't work. I knew that despite this, if the purple mouse attacked, I wouldn't be able to do much about it, and I know pik wouldn't either.
I found my hand reaching into my bag for a ball, and the familiarity of the round object was gripped between my fingers. I pulled it out quickly and threw it out at the small rat, knowing that full well it would fly over the Pikachu. I made sure that the toss was well done, and I was quite proud that I was able to do so. Keeping a calm face, I settled my eyes on the place were the pokeball will land. I avoided smiling, and avoided expectation. I had to keep focused on what the next turn would be if I failed the capture. |♦|Profile|♦| - |♦|PC|♦| || Coded by ShotoNemar || Sprites are Official Artwork

Switching from a Wurmple to the Pikachu spelt bad news for the small, purple rodent as within a single strike, it felt almost all of it's energy be zapped away. The Thunder Shock had singed it's fur and even it's quickest of attacks did little to damage this new opponent. Nattering it's teeth irritably, the Pokemon merely stared with a glare of malicious intent. It may have been on it's last legs but it wasn't going to just roll over. Eyes locking with Pik, the two Pokemon seemed to be in the middle of a staring contest as they waited for the next order. Considering what attack the Pikachu would make next, the Rattata planned to dodge with everything in it's power. However, it wasn't an attack what came. So focused on the movements of Pikachu, the rodent didn't notice Yuki had reached into his pocket for a Pokeball, a device meant to capture wild Pokemon. Thrusting his arm forward, the ball soared through the air, safely missing Pik. Eyes widening at the sight of the ball, the Rattata flinched as it struck it right on the head, drawing the unsuspecting Pokemon inside with a flash of red light.
WIGGLE. WIGGLE. WIGGLE. TING!
Congratulations!
The wild Rattata was successfully captured!

Yuki Noma I smiled as the ball went ting. I knew that I would soon see it teleport away to the pc like it should, and soon enough, as I predicted, it dissapeared. It was the first pokemon that I had caught that wasn't going strieght to my party, and I found myself wanting to be able to have him in my party. I looked at the pokeballs at my waist, and figured a good rest from this training was in order. I could always head over to the professor's lab to swap pokemon, I'm sure he would let me.
I found myself heading back to the town again just so I could swap pokemon, and do some relaxation. After all it was getting into dusk, and the day had seemed to slowly turn to shades of violet, red, and a deep blue. It was still light out, but it was calming enough to make me tired. I went inside the building in hopes to borrow his computer for but a moment, as there was no pokemon centers in the wild. I did hear rumors of a portable one, but I knew that I couldn't afford such an item.
I walked in, greeted the professor, and asked him to used the computer. All he seemed to do was nod in compliance, and I was sure that he didn't seem to care that I was there. It must have been easy to steal pokemon from a guy who doesn't even pay attention to knocks on the door. I blinked for a moment, got on the computer, and quickly organized the swap. Setting hikari's pokeball on the thing, and watching it as it dissapeared, and a new one appeared that was my rattata.
I grabbed the pokeball in my hand and smiled. "You, the gang, and me are gonna have a good dinner." My voice was bright about it all, but I seemed to keep quite calm. I knew I didn't have to feed them directly as when they were in the pokeballs, or in the PC, they were being taken care of, but a meal once and a while sounded good, and I found myself wanting to eat with my newly found friends.
I headed out to a good spot on the outskirts of town to eat and relax, it was better then being in town with the people and the lights. The smell of the forest and tall grass reminded me of home anyhow. I had grabbed the satchel that hanged on the back of my belt rather then the side, unclipped it, and looked at the food inside.
More Penutbutter and Jelly sandwitches... I knew mom meant well, but penutbutter wasn't exactly a good meal for dinner. None the less, I knew my Pokemon would enjoy them, and I wasn't exactly near a marketplace for food. I reached in and grabbed out the food when I noticed a violet stone sitting in the bag, and remembered I needed to give that to Kasai.
I found myself pulling that out instead, a blue clothe, and some other materials to help me work the stone into the clothe like material. I had no crafting skills, but I was able to sow a bit thanks to mom, and I needed to tie the string in a supportive enough way so Kasai could carry the stone without burden.
It wasn't quite nightime yet, and I found myself getting tired, but I needed to give this to kasai, and continue my journey. My thoughts were, I can sleep when I get to Cherrygrove. and so with a finishing touch of the garb, I pulled out kasai and let him out. Showing him the newly made shoulder cloak. well it was more or less just a scarf of some sort, but it worked out well.
{OOC: Gave Kasai Eviolite to hold, swap Hikari (Skiddo) for Kiba (rattata), For Pik: Replace Tail whip for Quick Attack Give Genius Wing to Pik (Snowboard Pikachu) Give Kiba (Rattata) Oran berry to hold
Also I plan on heading to cherrygrove, but I first want to encounter Silver before I leave. I was slightly concerned with my huge advantage over Silver due to Pik, but I still want the interaction to happen. Thanks.
I plan on making a sprite for Kasai in the future with the added item.} |♦|Profile|♦| - |♦|PC|♦| || Sprites are Official Artwork Rattata Name: Kiba Gender: Male Level: 5 Moves: Tackle, Tail Whip, Quick Attack Ability: Guts Nature/Personality: [Lonely | Quick to Flee] A hindering nature often comes out as a dislike for most trainers, but this pokemon seems quite content with who he is. Adamant about staying by himself, he tends to avoid others including Yuki. Quick to leave the crowd if available. Yuki still seems to try really hard to gain the attention of Kiba. Kiba won't ignore him, and generally is fine with Yuki, but isn't one to enjoy attention.

The smell of food attracted a pokemon from its home as it had been previously gathering berries. Though it was a small portion of food, the pokemon had a feeling that most of it would be gone by tomorrow. There was an assortment of oran berries, Chesto, Pecha and cheri in the mix making it very colorful and as well as a delicuous meal for any pokemon for that matter. However the pokemon couldn't say no to the smell of human food. A brown figure stood up on its back legs as a furry pokemon appeared. The pokemon was known as Sentret which was known to be a very cute pokemon and this one was aware of the cuteness that it could portray to others. The pokemon used its sharp claw like feet to climb down and out of the tree, once it was close enough the pokemon bounced off it, and began to bound through the short distance to where the source of food was. "Sen seen!" The pokemon said with excitement wondering if whoever owned the food would allow it to have a piece of it or even more than a bite or to take back to its tree. Once the Sentret came to the source of where Yuki was it peered up out of the grass, and noticed how the traveler was a pokemon trainer. Stunned by this, it was starting to wonder if coming out here had been a mistake in the beginning. It was aware of how strong trainers were and pokemon. But it was wondering if this trainer would launch it into a battle like the others? Upon closer look to the SEntret it had already had suffered wounds from a previous battle with a pokemon trainer that had tried to capture it but was unsuccessful at doing so. The Sentret managed to flee. But it seemed that the Sentret had always concluded that trainers were bad, especially since it always wound up near the bad trainers at this point. The pokemon's heart thudded in its chest showing how nervous and anxious it had been. The pokemon moved forward, inch by inch not entirely sure how Yuki would react. He could react in rage as far as he would know. However, one final move had spoiled his hiding spot as the SEntret kicked a rock as it clattered against the ground. The wild pokemon thought for sure that it had been discovered by now and the game was up. A Wild Sentret (level 7) is nearby and is having a hard time deciding if it challenges you to a battle! Do you want to challenge it anyways? Ooc: Updated everything for you, Shoto hopefully I got it all! Edit: UPdated again. Sorry about that but I think I got distracted(Dragged away from the computer being one of them) a couple of times while I did that post.

Yuki Noma {00C: Um Sacred Fire, you accidentally removed my skiddo and didn't put it in my box, as well as leaving a copy of my rattata in the box. Also I wanted Pik to consume/use the Genius Wing not to hold, (I believe it would give it a sp atk +1 base boost permenantly ex: Sp Atk: 51 instead of 50). I mostly didn't want to self update incase of someone assuming I cheated I believe the skiddo is located here Should I self update this? Although I don't blame you for the messup, I made a lot of requests in one post.} Kasai simply just stood there as I handed him the item, not reaching out to it or anything, but blankly looking at the cloth with no expression on his face. I frowned for a moment, and pulled the item back towards myself, and gave myself a question or two before ultimately deciding I needed to put it on him. I guessed that because of his shyness he didn't know how to respond to the item being given to him, and so I slowly put it over his head and clasped it together. It was nightfall now, the air was thin and cold, and I was supposing I should get some food, and maybe sleep on the ground, but I found myself wondering if nightime was the best time to train. As I reached for the food that sat ontop of my back satchel, I heard a scurrying noise. One perhaps of a pokemon climbing down a tree. Not that this noise was uncommon or anything, but I couldn't help but notice the pokemon that was doing so. It appeared to be coming closer to me, eyeing the food, and sniffing around. It's body twiched in a way that I was familiar with, and it reminded me of the pokemon that this pokemon was to evolve into. A Sentret had appeared for some food. I smiled at the pokemon that was eyeing the penutbutter and jelly sandwitches, that were wrapped in the clothe my mother packed them in. I could tell that the wild pokemon wanted to get some food from me, just like the Pidgey I first ran into, and I found myself liking this pokemon quite well. I picked up the sandwich, and handed him a small section of it by placing it on the ground before him. While the wild pokemon would attempt to eat the food, or run away with it, I quickly grabbed the ball with Onaji, and quietly released her from the pokeball. Although the flash of light might slightly alert the pokemon, I knew that the wurmple wouldn't be a threatening sight to the flying squirrel. "Onaji, use tackle before it runs away." I said quietly to my pokemon, and felt that I was betraying the poor thing, but, it would be an interesting battle. Onaji looked up at me with sparkling eyes, and then turned to see the sentret who was still eyeing and sniffing the food before it. Soon enough, the small worm like pokemon crawled forward to attack, not knowing if it would be able to sneak an attack on the opposing pokemon before the enemy noticed it, but you would never know unless you tried. |♦|Profile|♦| - |♦|PC|♦| || Sprites are Official Artwork

The sentret eyed the sandwhich with its brown beady eyes. It was so tempting and this trainer seemed awfully nice. The Sentret knew all about those dangerous trainers that just didn't care about the wild pokemon who had come into this area. Either way it was a nice change for something that the sentret had gone to experience while it was in its short lifetime. Perhaps it was a sign that there were still some good people in the world. While the Sentret could show the other way towards the trainer, there were some good pokemon out there too. As the Sentret watched and waited to see what Yuki would do, a pokemon inched forward that the Sentret recognized. The red and white worm pokemon was hard to miss. It was called a Wurmple, and the pokemon had a hidden tallent. In those poisonous stinger like spines of it, the pokemon held a poison. The Sentret had to be careful, where it landed the attacks that it knew. But was otherwise going to strategist this whole thing. If the trainer wanted to battle it, then that was fine with the pokemon. The Sentret was going to give it all it had. With the speed that the Sentret had it had the advantage to go first. The Sentret bounded forward at incredible speeds. In fact it looked like a blur before it appeared near Onaji. It soon struck slamming into Onaji's side, making the pokemon cry out in pain. However that didn't do enough to faint Onaji at all. The Wurmple was still standing as he heard the call from Yuki. Onaji inched forward as fast as his tiny body would let him go. He didn't even blink in those split seconds, that went by before he slammed into the Sentret. The Sentret winced from the attack and did its best to try and avoid the spikes. But it still didn't remove all the pain that it had suffered from the tackle. It was clear that this was going to be one heck of a battle. Battle

Yuki Noma I was glad that the pokemon that I was to face was smart. That's what I was looking for in that breed of pokemon. Sentret was a pokemon that was to evolve into a furret, if I remembered correctly from my early studies. It wasn't hard to tell the difference between the to pokemon in that aspect, and I knew it came down to a good training regimine. I was going to see if Onaji could handle a pokemon at such a higher level then herself. I looked at Onaji with soft eyes, hoping that Onaji could hold in a couple more attacks.
I stood there analyzing the move that could be used next, when something had caught my eye. Onaji had the ability to poison the enemy, and if that was going to be useful in capturing it. I knew that the move wouldn't do much damage due to wurmples small stingers, but if I wanted this pokemon, poisoning it would certainly be my advantage on the enemy. Onaji wasn't tired yet, and the strength that was behind those glittering eyes would soon appear to be fruit-full.
"Onaji," I called to the worm pokemon, hoping that it's energy would allow it to adjust it's position to a better aiming spot. "Poison sting." I was hoping that, despite this move that the worm pokemon would be able to do what I asked of her, and she was always quick to respond despite the attitude she usually gave me. |♦|Profile|♦| - |♦|PC|♦| || Sprites are Official Artwork

The battle continued on between Onaji, Yuki and the Sentret as they were still struggling to see who would come out on top in this one. Onaji heard Yuki's call, the wurmple's trainer was thinking things through and she trusted him. Onaji soo pointed forward, with her forehead aimed for the brown Sentret. Once she was ready, she released a powerful poison like stinger into the direction of the Sentret. However, the Sentret wasn't so quick to dodging it like it had managed to earlier. The Sentret cried out in pain as it felt the area that had been hit and tried to pull out the stinger with its claws. After a few tugs, the wild pokemon managed to do it with some strength involved. Once the Sentret was situated, it realized that it still had to make a move from this attack. The Sentret rolled itself up in a ball to increase its stats in the battle. Though it saw this Wurmple as a threat, it wasn't going to take any chances with the Wurmple. This could've turned deadly, if the Sentret made a mistake, that would've hurt its health more as the battle went on. And there was proof too, as that last poison sting might poison it next round, and then it was in trouble. The wild Sentret was clearly worried and a cautious one.As should most pokemon be in nature when they were up against a trainer. Though some had different personalities. Wild Pokemon Battle! Yuki Noma Onaji was poised to attack again at my own command, and I could tell it would only take one word to let the pokemon begin it's move. Although there was one problem, the sentret was faster then the wurmple, but slowing it down would be a waste. I knew I had to get this pokemon poisoned, so it was easier to fight. Despite failing to poison it this last round, I knew it would take patience if I were to poison the sentret.
My body shifted to take a better look at the sentret. The night sky was coming inwards now, as dusk wouldn't last long. I set my eyes to see if there was a beter position for my wurmple to attack from, and there was, but I doubted that Onaji would be able to clearly get to that position in time, I simply adjusted myself in hopes that the wurmple would understand my intentions.
"Again, Poison sting." I ordered the wurmple, expecting the pokemon to immediately follow the command with no question about it at all. I had to keep a good eye on the sentret to see it's next move, if it continued to use defense curl, I might have to switch to a stronger pokemon on my team just to do any damage to the sentret.
I looked to the balls on my holster just in case thinking about what pokemon would be the most useful if the sentrets defense kept rising, I could end up killing it quickly with kasai's ember attack, or Pik's electric thunder shock, but I wanted good experience for some of my other weaker pokemon. I thought about if for a moment as I watched the next round of attacks play out. |♦|Profile|♦| - |♦|PC|♦| || Sprites are Official Artwork

The Sentret had no idea that it was giving this trainer a challenge, since Yuki wanted to train his lower level Pokemon like Onaji the Wurmple. Sentret felt sturdier after using the Defense Curl and readily dashed forward with its Quick Attack, with its ears and tail flopping up and down as it ran the distance. Without stopping, the normal type slammed the Wurmple at full speed, ramming onto the Wurmple and knocked Onaji over. The bug type quickly rolled over and was back on her feet. After the Sentret's attack, the Wurmple readjusted her position, and then she opened her mouth to fire a volley of thin glowing darts etched with her body's defensive poison. The Sentret saw what was coming, and tried to dodge by running in circle and jumping. Unfortunately for the Sentret, some of the poison sting stabbed its body, and the poison began seeping through the entire the body. It was too late! It felt sick, and it felt uncomfortable. It looks like the Sentret would have to finish the battle before getting some rest from this poisonous Wurmple.

Yuki Noma With the poison seeping into the rodent pokemon, I knew exactly what to do next. The sentret was an amazingly quick and intelligent pokemon, but what my wurmple did just at that moment would seal the deal for this pokemon. That is, if the pokemon was to be captured at all. I was very happy with Onaji, and felt like praising the wurmple. I knew that the pokemon would enjoy it, but before that I had to capture this pokemon before it damaged my wurmple to badly.
I looked down to see that my wurmple was a bit tired from the battle, but it didn't seem all to bad, despite the quick battle. I felt bad for him though, and was realizing I had a good connection with this pokemon already. Despite this, I was ready for a new pokemon already. and I reached for the ball in my bag. That same motion remaining in my mind.
I closed my eyes, and straitened my face to focus. I had lied my eyes directly on the sentret. Ready to capture the creature in an instance, but in the moment, I found myself pausing. Waiting for the pokemon to be aligned with my throw, I launched the poke-ball out towards the wild pokemon. I had thrown it the best I could, as the pokemon still looked as if it had energy.
I had my eyes locked on it for the good moment, It was almost as if an explosion could happen, but I wouldn't notice. I decided to stay calm in this situation. I could tell my wurmple had turned to me, and looked up at me with large curious eyes of impatience. |♦|Profile|♦| - |♦|PC|♦| || Sprites are Official Artwork

Having already captured a Pokemon on the route, it was clear for others to see that Yuki had got this part of a trainer down perfectly. As Yuki chucked the Pokeball forward, it soared through the air, eventually finding itself dabbing against the Sentret's weary body. Absorbing it in a red light, the Pokemon was covered from head to toe as it was digitised and scooped into the centre of the spherical capture device. Falling to the floor with a plonk, the capture was now under way. Rocking back and forth, it was processing the newly acquired Pokemon. Once... Twice... Thrice...
*CLICK*Congratulations! OOC: Just to clear up a bit of confusion earlier about the wings; we use them differently on the forum. Currently there's no EV system in place so we've adapted the wings to be single use boosters. So for example, you enter a fight with a Muscle Wing attached, the wing is used up as soon as the Pokemon entered but they get +1 Atk for the remainder of the fight. E.g. if they had used Howl. Yuki Noma {OOC: thanks for the info Joey hard to find that thread. Finishing Thread here. Change Onaji the wurmple to a Cascoon. I believe she learns harden. I'll self update} Yes. the pokemon was caught, I seemed to have done well on that end. I found myself a little excited that I caught the fella, despite the lack of physical excitement shown. I was so hapy about it I was ready to turn to my wurmple and thank it for her efforts. So I did, and found something strange. Onaji was looking up at me curiously and happy like. Her big eyes showing delight with me. Her bug skin was all shiny and shimmering, and I thought that it was interesting that she appeared to be this way. In a sudden flash of light I noticed that something was definately off. What was going on? I suppose I should have known as my mother was a breeder, but I didn't.I didn't pay attention at the time, or just simply didn't care when mother was telling me. I was clueless, and ended up shielding my eyes a bit from the light. a... purple cacoon? I looked up from the blinding light that had dissapated. It had appeared that Onaji had taken a different shape so to speak. I smiled at this factor, but quickly frowned. I didn't know whether or not I wanted the small worm to change, and I was just getting attached to is small red form. I stared at the cascoon with a small dissapointed look, but wanted to praise Onaji anyway. "thank you." I softly spoke, then returned Onaji to her designated ball. There wasn't much I could do, so I left it be that way, I put the ball on the holster, and walked on. I figured that I would avoid the grass from now on, and hurry to the next town, I spent plenty of time in the grass. I could see the town lights anyway, and it was getting dark. I assumed that I would need to heed shelter soon and find a place to stay the night. Perhaps theres a pokemon center I could take refuge in? well it seemed that a break was in order anyhow. |♦|Profile|♦| - |♦|PC|♦| || Sprites are Official ArtworkPut in Box Sentret Name: Cape [pronounced Cap-a] Gender: Female Level: 7 Moves: Scratch, Foresight, Defence Curl, Quick Attack Ability: Keen Eye Nature/Personality: [Hasty | A little quick Tempered] Sentret is usually known to be a little cautious of there surroundings.
