How do people feel about the Pokemon cries found in the games? I'm personally glad they've kept going down the route of keeping them 8bit sounding for the previous generational Pokemon and carried on using nonsensical little whirs and noises for newer generation Pokemon. I think if they started adding voice actors to do the actual names it'd get old, real fast. On another note, which cries do people absolutely adore/loathe? One of my favourites has to be Gengar's as it sounds like a hearty laugh. As for what I loathe...? Most likely Gastrodon. It sounds... Weird.

Hearing Shaymin's cry is about the cutest cry out of any Pokemon I ever heard! While on the other hand, hearing the cry for Lopunny... well, I say it fits. Sadly fits. Because it has just the right kind of pitch for... well, a rabbit wanting to mate. >>

Haha that's true. I had to look around when Skuntank first appeared as I thought someone next to me had let rip. Probopass' sounds a bit like it's sneezing. Which fits in with its huge nose.

Charizard's and Rhyhorn's are exactly the same. lol. |D Just random fact that makes me giggle.
Personally Drifloon's is my favorite of the newest ones. That and Drifblim. I mean really, get the sound of it on a file on your computer somehow and remix it into a pimped out techno-remix song. |D You'd sooo make millions. lol.
I remember Jynx's was the longest everrrrr. IDK if there's a new one that has uber long cry to match it since the new gen I wasn't too fond of, but yeah. ouo;;

I haven't got my Pokedex from in the games at hand on me but I remember someone else saying this was the case for various other Pokemon such as Tangela and something... Argh. I'm sure they are similar but to think of them as EXACT is mind boggling.

DLELDLEDLEDLEDLE WHOOOOOOOOP!!!!!!!!!
I must admit, upon first hearing it I wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry. It's definitely one of the more unique sounding cries in the franchise.

Caterpie and Goldeen also share the same cry. There are probably a few more.
