| NameZaiden Jeremiah Damien Kabila
Age16 Years GenderMale He/Him
Trainer TypeTrainer HometownViridian City
Appearance Zaiden has the look and feel of "just another typical kid". The most unique feature that stands out for Zaiden is his height of five feet and eleven inches (5'11"), which gives him a taller than average look for his age. Zaiden has short, spiky hair whose color is somewhere between a "sandy blonde" and a "mousy brown" shade. If you were a stickler for length and used a ruler, you may be able to measure it at a full singular inch length. He has dark chocolate brown irises that some have commented as being intriguing, but would look rather average and ordinary within a crowd. This young lad weighs approximately one hundred pounds (100 lbs).
Zaiden loves dull and rather plain colors. He typically wears faded denim blue jeans with a simple T-shirt. His shirts usually have some simple character or graphic - often a depiction of a rare or valuable Pokemon such as Latios, which is his favorite. He switches between the colors of robin's egg blue, light coral red, or even shamrock shake green for his shirts and general wardrobe attire. When it is cold outside, Zaiden has a classic jet black hoodie with a depiction of a Jigglypuff singing into a microphone that he wears over his normal attire. Zaiden also prefers sneakers over all other forms of shoes, which we wears with virtually everything. Zaiden has a warm tawny beige complexion. |
Personality
| Zaiden is a characteristically quiet kid. He doesn't speak often, and when he does speak it's usually kept short. He's a character who is direct and to the point with his words, and often comes off as being rather blunt. He doesn't mince his words for sure, and gets visibly annoyed when he has to listen to others beat around the bush when they're speaking to him. Although it takes a lot to get him to speak up through this, and often his expressions give away his inner thoughts.
It's true that most could read Zaiden by simply watching his body posture and facial expressions. Zaiden may be a lad of very few words, but his body language is an entire commercial for his thoughts and his emotions. He is an extremely animated and lively individual. When Zaiden is angry, he gives off a strong and imposing look. Because he focuses on internalizing his negative emotions, they often seep onto his facial expressions. Some people have commented that Zaiden gives off this strange glare in his eyes that make you want to avoid him entirely. While other individuals have an anger gauge that you would measure them by to know when they've had enough, the same isn't true for Zaiden. He's prone to silently stew in his emotions until he finally explodes. Zaiden is also very physical, and deals with explosion of anger with his hands.
In professional and combative settings such Pokemon battles, Zaiden is a stickler for the rules. If there is a book or a manual on a subject, he will read it cover to cover to ensure he knows every inch. He has a habit of telling on himself (even) if he happens to default on a rule. In battles, he prefers to follow the code from inch to inch. In wild Pokemon battles or regulated matches, he finds it only right to ensure that both sides have a fair fight. Because of this tendency for strict adherence, Zaiden doesn't normally allow more naturally mischievous Pokemon to become a prominent fixture on his team. He will purposefully try to teach and retrain them so that their moral compass is aligned properly, before he worries with leveling or battling with them.
Zaiden loves nature and the great outdoors. He spent his childhood with his father's Charizard, wondering through open wild-lands and forested habitats near his home. He has great admiration for the plants and Pokemon that inhabit the world around him. Zaiden doesn't believe that there are better or worse Pokemon between different types and species. He, instead, believes that each species and type of Pokemon is uniquely adapted for its lifestyle and natural habitat. Though, like most trainers, Zaiden still has his own personal favorites.

History | The normal order of events for a life usually follows the same similar narrative. Two people, who are presumably the new life's parents, happily bring a bouncing bundle of joy into the world. In a typical narrative, the bouncing bundle of joy is born into a happy, warm home, to a committed and very happy couple. However, Zaiden's first chapter of his life wouldn't start out nearly as lucky or blessed. His parents happened to be a lovely young yet married middle-class woman who had a series of fling relationships with a homely shopkeeper. His father was the owner of a small market called, 'Wholesome and Natural'. His father's store crafted their motto around the store's name, and only offered "wholesome and natural" herbal remedies for treating various Pokemon ailments.
They met when his mother needed healing medication for her husband's wounded Blastoise. The Blastoise suffered from a powerful poison after a particularly nasty fight with a Victreebel. She happened to drop by Wholesome and Natural Pokemart and met with Zaiden's father, Darrell. Darrell recommended Heal Powder. They grew close to each other, and Zaiden's mother, Sania, often chose to go to Derrell's shop for most of her supplies. After several chance encounters with each other, the two were blessed with the bouncing bundle of joy they named Zaiden. However, peace and happiness wasn't part of the original package. Zaiden's mother had to contain the truth from her husband for the first year of Zaiden's life, placing her husband, Markus, as the baby's father on all of Zaiden's paperworks.
As time progressed, the secrecy of Sania's love affair became difficult to contain. Markus uncovered the truth about his supposed son and became aggressively violent towards Sania and distant towards Zaiden. He would scream his wife often, and throw random object around the house. As Zaiden started walking and running more, Markus would often snatch the young child roughly to redirect him, and simply push or shove Zaiden out of his way. He often neglected the child. He would ignore Zaiden's needs, downright refusing to feed or care for the child, and he would often scream and yell at Zaiden to shut him up. Sometimes, Markus would even pop Zaiden in his mouth to get his point across.
Zaiden's mother spent most of her time tending to her son. She would often try to quieten him herself, and often hid Zaiden from Sania's husband. The more Sania managed to keep Zaiden out of sight and mind from Markus, the safer she felt about her son's well-being. She eventually gained the courage to leave Markus. Sania packed all of Zaiden's belongings and her belongings in a bag - as much as she could possibly carry - and secretly slipped out of her home. Derrell took Sania and his son in and hid them in his house as soon as he learned of the news.
Zaiden spent most of his childhood years growing up with Sania and Derrell. Derrell lived a simpler life that bordered the edge of poverty, as his shop only brought in enough money to barely keep them afloat. Derrell often had to hunt and grow small crops for his family in order to make sure they were fed. Sometimes, they would have to ration what little food they had out so that it could last them for a while. The landowner that Derrell rented from in order to run his shop repeatedly threatened to kick Derrell and his shop out when he couldn't pay his bills on time.
Time seemed to stabilize for a couple of years. Zaiden remembered growing up with his parents during this time as one of the happiest experiences of his life. He would often spend his days chasing his father's Charizard around in the back yard. "No fair!" He often shouted, when the giant orange dragon-like Pokemon flew up high into the sky to escape Zaiden in their games, "You have wings, and I don't!" His father decided to start selling off his prized and most beloved Pokemon.
Derrell sold his Golduck first, a Pokemon that helped him on his own journey and helped Derrell win several of his badges before he retired. Then, he eventually had to sell his Hypno, a Pokemon that rescued him and Charizard once. One time Charizard crashed into a Skarmory and seriously injured his left wing. Derrell was riding on Charizard's back when this happened, and although they were trying to escape and avoid the Skarmory, the steel bird Pokemon chased after them. When Charizard fell from the sky, Hypno teleported twice to save them. Once to catch Derrell in the air and teleport him to the ground. The second time for Charizard. The second hardest Pokemon to give up was Derrell's Raticate. One time when Derrell was on his own death bed, the Raticate risked it's life and ran off to steal a powerful medicinal vial to try and help Derrell heal (which worked).
Zaiden loved his father's Charizard the most. Zaiden barely noticed his father selling off his most prized and cherished Pokemon, in order to keep the roof over their heads. Fate finally stole Zaiden's childhood friend from him, however, Zaiden noticed everything his father did to try and protect his family. After the landowner finally kicked Derrell out of the rented building that had been Derrell's shop for so many years, Derrell sold his own starter Pokemon to try and make ends meet. Charizard only added a small pocket of time - enough to bide Derrell some time so that he could try and figure out what he might do next to provide for his family.
When Zaiden lost his best friend, he spent a long time crying and isolating himself. It took Zaiden a long time to accept what happened, and to truly understand why his father had to sell Charizard. He decided he wanted to help his family out the best way that he could. Zaiden finally decided to start his own Pokemon journey at the age of 14, so that he could try to become a Pokemon Champion. Then, hopefully, Zaiden would save his family from losing everything, and losing the only place he truly felt was home.

Goals
| Zaiden's most important goal is to make something of himself for his family. Zaiden believes that his mother and father need his help in order to keep the home he's known the longest, and the place he actually calls home. He promised his parents that he would become a Pokemon Champion. Zaiden feels that by doing this, he will be able to give his parents enough monetary support to help them keep their home. Zaiden also plans to go back to the landowner that his father was renting from and outright buy the building and land his father used to have his shop in. This will be a gift that he will give his father.
Zaiden plans to retire and take over his father's shop once his father can no longer run and operate it. This plan is a set-in-motion plan that Zaiden plans to carry out once he's old enough, has succeeded in his other plans, and his father officially retires altogether. A smaller goal of Zaiden's is to at least see every species of Pokemon that currently exists. Other goals may develop as the story continues...

[attr=class,cf-personality] [attr=class,cf-dexentry] Even though its body is extremely skinny, it is blindingly fast when catching its prey.
Moyashi is a skilled hunter who likes to track down bug type Pokemon and corner them. She loves stuffing them inside of her large mouth, and will often jump in front of other Pokemon that are trying to battle to force herself into any battle involving a Bug Type Pokemon. Moyashi believes that she's the most adept predator in the entire Poke-world. She likes to give lessons to other Bellsprout and Grass Type Pokemon that will listen to her. Because she believes Grass Type Pokemon are superior to Bug types, she doesn't get along well with dual Grass-and-Bug type Pokemon and thinks that they are weakening their Grass Type genes with their Bug typing. [attr=class,cf-personality] [attr=class,cf-dexentry] It can see in all directions without moving its big eyes, helping it spot attackers and food right away.
Tonbo is an introverted Pokemon who is known to criticize himself harshly and remains standoffish to new Pokemon and people. Tonbo is not the rebellious sort and will easily do as instructed. Tonbo is known to blame others when things don’t go as plan and are never known to admit fault. Tonbo also has a need to keep his appearances and environment around him as tidy and organized as possible – even going out of his way to ensure everyone gets their proper turn in a fight. [attr=class,cf-personality] [attr=class,cf-dexentry] If its horns capture the warm feelings of people or Pokémon, its body warms up slightly.
Kanja is very emotional and empathetic. She will often feel the same things that other Pokemon around her are feeling and feels them in more depth the stronger her personal bonds are with each individual Pokemon. Kanja will often try to soothe other Pokemon and seems to always know what to say because of this – or when words aren’t needed and just her presence is enough. She hates strong emotions like anger or hatred, and will actively avoid other Pokemon who are exuding such emotions from themselves. She doesn't mind 'down' emotions like grief and sadness, however, as she knows sometimes what Pokemon experiencing them the most need is a comforting hand. [attr=class,cara-credit] Caramell [attr=class,cf-party psychic] [attr=class,cf-mon] [attr=class,cf-faqs] GOSHIKKA [attr=class,zz-typeblock psychic] [attr=class,cf-species] GOTHITA Level: 8 Gender: ♀ Ability: Competitive Original Trainer: Zaiden Kabila Item: Exp Share

[attr=class,cf-personality] [attr=class,cf-dexentry] Their ribbon-like feelers increase their psychic power. They are always staring at something.
Goshikka has a fascination with dark and cryptic things. She will often tell wild, fantastical horror stories. She takes a sick and twisted sense of pride in spooking other Pokemon, especially her enemies. Sometimes she is the star of her horror stories, and sometimes she makes a random villain off the top of her head. She has a wild imagination and loves exercising it. Otherwise, Goshikka is a rather lazy and laid back Pokemon. Instead of fighting or working, she would rather spend her days passing the time away by telling wild, fantastical stories with other Pokemon. [attr=class,cara-credit] Caramell [attr=class,cf-party bug] [attr=class,cf-mon] [attr=class,cf-faqs] KEMUSHI [attr=class,zz-typeblock bug] [attr=class,cf-species] METAPOD Level: 10 Gender: ♂ Ability: Shed Skin Original Trainer: Zaiden Kabila Item: N/A

[attr=class,cf-personality] [attr=class,cf-dexentry] This Pokémon is vulnerable to attack while its shell is soft, exposing its weak and tender body.
Kemushi firmly believes that he is a Rock Type Caterpie. He thinks that he is the only Rock Type Caterpie that is super weak to Flying types, and because of this he will run and hide in fear of any flying type Pokemon at all. Kemushi is deathly afraid of water and will refuse to go near any body of water such as a lake, pool, creek, river, or the ocean. He’s also afraid of grass type Pokemon and thinks he can easily defeat any fire type Pokemon in his path. No matter what, no one can convince Kemushi that he isn’t a Rock Type Caterpie, though. [attr=class,cara-credit] Caramell [attr=class,cf-party bug] [attr=class,cf-mon] [attr=class,cf-faqs] CHO [attr=class,zz-typeblock bug] [attr=class,cf-species] WURMPLE Level: 17 Gender: ♂ Ability: Shield Dust Original Trainer: Mishu Mizuma Item: N/A

[attr=class,cf-personality] [attr=class,cf-dexentry] It lives among the tall grass and in forests. It repels attacks by raising up the spikes on its rear.
Although Cho doesn't like being owned by trainers, he makes the best of it in the best way that he can. He has plans of evolving and one day reuniting with his old colony of Wurmple. He doesn't know what evolution will look like for him. Cho jokes that he loves the sun and daylight too much to become a moth like some of the Wurmples of his old colony. He hopes that he'll become a lovely butterfly with gorgeous wings that makes all of his old friends jealous. He is very helpful though. Cho will hop in the middle of any fray to help his friends out in a pinch, unafraid of the dangers that the battle may present to him.
