Alright guys, i'll try for the Breeder Bundle for my MOTM from a few bits ago <3
In my conquest for my favorite Pokemon, I will try for an *electric* type, as well as taking the Oval Charm.

Fyrebirdevo For the comedy of it and good to see that a trainer\player doesn't always have to be serious.

Just gunna do some quick seconding for now :3 Sloane Reason: The momentary break in battle to stare in awe at nature and see the same thing the wild pkmn is excited about was a great creative break. Megan Reason: Agreed with the previous two! Such an emotional moment that is really well written. Tyger Reason: Again, a really well written piece. You can really step into Sam's shoes seeing the undefeatable lucario faint! Icarus is a great supporting character. Tarlar Reason: The spearow is wonderful! I loved the attempt at singing and its smugness. Perfectly plays into typical spearow behavior without just being aggro. Fyrebirdevo Reason: The closet bit was a nice touch xD Short, but a fun little post! |

Seconding these! It was a joy reading Megan's emotional reaction to finally win the badge. I really enjoyed Sloane taking time to let Peb admire the view (and in general playing along with the storm and excited spearow) It's not often trainers express frustration when battles are hard as Jenesis did here, its quite realistic (and I love the thread titel) Seconding this! In some parts, its funny because you have a character realizing how alike he is to his starter and regretting his decision on his starter Pokemon and wondering about the other options he didn't go with. There are so many moments where you're caught laughing at how angry and upset Leilani seems to become while battling - and slowly losing - to Silver. And the way she handles Silver's disbelief that she even has a dragon type is simply priceless.

He's dealing with an annoying Pokemon that loves to squawk back probably anything and everything it's ever heard - giving you very little of a mental break from its squawking.

Here, she's caught in an awkward moment as she realizes there was a bit of a miscommunication over the Sprout Tower and its wood, and has obviously caused the Sages to think she illogically has a (rather poor) love of wood.

Reading Fire Tail sharing her adventure with Aglaia's Pokemon is cute and helps you connect with the Pokemon beyond the usual 'Pokemon battling Pokemon' scenarios. Even though there's a battle going on in in the background, Fire Tail just finds a moment within herself to enjoy her time with new friends and share memories.
Link to Post: DigsiteNominating: MeganReason: Megan worried about the pass not being a scam and her actually being able to dig without being roped into some kinda of extended car warranty scam feels a little too close to home xD. It's a great touch to an otherwise simple event for the character.

Had some time for some seconds ;D Reason: I agree that the character taking time to notarize the encounter really adds to the feel of the character. A small thing that adds a lot. Reason: Well written and while the characters are implied to be of similar stock there's plenty of care into making them quite individual. Reason: He's so sweet! And unprecedented. Giving away even a half-valuable item in good sport definitely warrants some good karma ;D Reason: It was a toss up between seconding for the bonus points or nominating the latest post in this adventure. It's all such an interesting bump in Lei's journey and the rage seething through the posts really frames the character she is. can't wait for the next Silver encounter haha! Reason: Pretty much same as Caramell, the realization of cardinal pidgey not being wholly unique was a fun read. Plus the continuation of the thread is pretty great with like versus like xD Reason: Haha! Go go Fire Tail cheerleader. |
