In some parts, its funny because you have a character realizing how alike he is to his starter and regretting his decision on his starter Pokemon and wondering about the other options he didn't go with. On the other hand, you realize how sweet Cas can be as he really doesn't want to bother the Sentret and would rather they continue on their way.

Seconding this as well! It's hilarious that Casmyr is regretting his choice and I love how they play along what they have encountered. (the start of the thread was also great, gave a lot to the mod to work with)

Reason: Honestly, the battle with Youngster Mikey and the way Xander handles the group of kids really helps you appreciate the character. He's an all-around great guy and even encourages Youngster Mikey while they're in a battle, letting him know how capable Mikey and his Rattata is. The wrap up to this where Xander still tries to give Mikey a gift even though he didn't win the battle really helps connect you to the sort of person Xander is.

Reason: Fire Tail is adorable. Reading Fire Tail sharing her adventure with Aglaia's Pokemon is cute and helps you connect with the Pokemon beyond the usual 'Pokemon battling Pokemon' scenarios. Even though there's a battle going on in in the background, Fire Tail just finds a moment within herself to enjoy her time with new friends and share memories.

Reason: I don't know if this was an old thread finally finishing up or a new one I didn't know much about. I did like how the trainer felt guilty of capturing a Pokemon he knew he wasn't going to keep but use for a trade later on. This reminds me of how athletes sometimes gets traded by teams at the team's whim depending on contract. This owner\trainer still valued the Pokemon even if it didn't fit his usual group.
