Reason: The whole battle is worth a read! From the fact that both characters come from very different walks of life (the NPC and Nate) that thy have a hard time seeing eye-to-eye with each other. This post though, does a great job highlighting what a great trainer Nate is personally, too. Even though Monique wanted him to admit that she wouldn't make it as a trainer, Nate double-downs on how talented she could be if she tries, showcasing how he can look past his own personal interests to praise others for their work, too.

Reason: Storytelling has always been used as a way to teach us a lesson or give us a warning about life or the world around us. I love how Venominon [character] has taken the time to partake a lesson to Sylvester before parting ways with him, and it brings back one of the purposes of why we roleplay: to tell a story, and within that story, to possible teach us something [whether its a lesson, or warning]. Definitely well worth the read.

I won? Awesome! Although, with three nominations in June, I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Still, it's an honor. A big thanks to everyone who nominated and voted for me!

Now, for my prize, I'd like the Item Bundle please. And from that bundle, I'll take TM31: Brick Break, the Rare Candy, and if possible, some Black Sludge. Just to save me the trouble of having Venom look for it in the Putrid Swamp.

Reason: Honestly, it's a hilarious read. And it is a great way to showcase how different trainers and their Pokemon can be. I love the way the author calls back to their previous travel up to that point, and how they describe how the character is viewing the world around them while describing the scenery at large.
