Reason: It's always a hoot to read the dramatics of Shinya and Venom. But this post with Shinya really felt real. Human. His big plans were just foiled in a fight, he's hit a wall face-first, and he has to psych himself back up to continue the battle. I just loved reading it. Sometimes, adversity really shows new depths to a character, and I love to see it.

Reason: This post was so full of action and an absolute joy to read! Adrian and Dunsparce established an initial bond after the later was captured, all the while Adrian's Ralts evolved into a Kirlia. Star ran off into the distance, leaving Adrian and his pokemon pals to pursue her. Another evolution from Kirlia to Gallade took place, thanks for Star and their sixth sense for stones with magical properties!

I'm really overwhelmed and humbled by all the support! It actually means a lot as I never imagined this place would flourish and stand the test of time like it has let alone find myself creating my own character and participating 16 years later! It's really been an enjoyable experience and really want to thank everyone for making it a special and vibrant community to be a part of! Half the fun has really been following other people's journeys and seeing all the creativity which has pushed me to improve my own writing. Also want to thank all the staff that have kept the place running so smoothly over the years and built the foundations, systems and contributed to all the ideas that make it fun and exciting to visit. ^^

Also wished we could have shared this award Hunter! You are such a talented writer and have loved following your stories throughout the years and there clearly was not much in it seeing how close the voting was in the end. But I have no doubt you will have plenty more chances in the future and I'm excited to see what you come up with! <3
