"Good work Zarow," praised Aglaia as the za-pearow knocked the air out of the beautifly and they watched it retreat to safety. Zarow was still panting hard, but he landed proudly on the grass in front of Aglaia, it was the least she could do now he gave her the honor of helping her with little game. It wasn't really fair for the pokemon they met, but what could he do?
An angry buzzing reached them as a Volbeat appeared and accusingly waved a finger at them. Zarow frowned displeased with its lack of respect and not understanding why it was so angry. "Oh, that one looks a bit like Donna," Aglaia said surprised and then too frowned at its anger. Zarow looked questioningly at her and she shook her head. "I don't know what's gotten into it, or what we have done that might have caused it, but I'm not interested in catching it. Perhaps you could ask it to leave? " She asked her pokemon and he accepted with a courtly nod. "Leave this area, we will you no harm, but if you don't I see no other way to teach you a lesson," Zarow told the volbeat and would barely give it a chance to answer before he raced forward with an Aerial ace.
(ooc: Zarow forgets Razor Wind to learn Mirror Move. Not much to play with in the last post, but that must just mean I have completely free hands )
Fist waving would only go so far with trainers, it knew, and was confirmed when the long-nosed spearow made his threat. Volbeat went at the bird, flailing a strange dance that seemed to have no pattern beyond random struggle. It was almost as if the bug had just thrown himself at Zarow's feet like a trantruming baby. How juvenile. Putting all of his strength into one wing, the costumed spearow followed through with his threat. The blow hit under Volbeat's body just right. A perfect golf swing. The struggling bee was sent flying off into the trees.
Zarow grew to LV 20
What's this!? Zarow is trying to evolve! Allow it?
Zarow watched gleefully as the volbeat disappeared out of sight, he really had showed it. He twitched as he felt weird, it was like he was about to burst and he had to fought to keep his wings beating to avoid drop like a stone. He closed his eyes as a bright light was hurting them while the bursting feeling spread like a hot fire (although he had no experience with fire) and it was like his whole body got stretched out. It didn't really hurt but it wasn't exactly pleasant, his wings quickly got much heavier and he attempted to get down safely. His head suddenly got very heavy in front and it kind of wobbled around and was hard to control like it was on a high stick. He felt grass beneath his feet and his head fell forward and he opened his eyes to look down at long orange thing that was stuck in the ground. It followed him when he pulled his head up and it took him a few moments to realize it was his beak! He slowly turned his head, carefully not to slam his beak into something and maveled at his big and colorful wings. What had happened to him? Hi raised his eyes to look at Aglaia who clearly was swooning over him and praised him to the skies! He raised his beak proudly upwards, this must be a hidden ability he had, some legendary skill that he had discovered with all his mighty work.
Aglaia said something and gestured for him to follow and turned to walk away. He chose to stay on the ground and strutted after her, occasionally waving his wings and tail, enjoying their size and colors. He certainly looked amazing!
