The Alpha was furious, it was disgusting with that sticky slime and humiliating that such puny bug which was usually easy prey for the spearows, dared to oppose her like that. It was lacking respect and the alpha wouldn't accept it, it could give others around her the same wrong ideas! She would make sure to teach Shiwa her rightful place and to show proper respect (and fear) towards her. First she just needed to get out of those threads that pulled her feathers and slowed her down! Kogasu didn't wait, while shouting at the ghost she tried to burn the alpha's deputy to crisp and it cawed in surprise and fear. The alpha snapped her head around and glared at it. "What are you waiting for! Retaliate! Show not just it but the whole flock that you are worthy of your position!" She snarled at it and it sent her a fearful glance before it jumped to the sky. The alpha returned to hurriedly cleaning her feathers so that she could get back to the important part. The deputy made a loop in the air and swoop down aiming at Kogasu's tail. The charmander was still more focused on Gen'ie than the battle and didn't noticed the attacking spearow before it's beak closed around her tail and gave it a great yank, pulling her out of balance. The alpha's head snapped up again as the other helper she had screamed a warning and raced to intercept Gen'ie that was targeting the distracted Alpha. It clashed with the ghost and ripped its beak through his ghostly sides, but it didn't stop him and the alpha stared furiously as he soared towards her grinning. She was too slow to avoid him, and too proud and staggered backwards as he knocked her down. She didn't take long to collect herself and she threw herself forward in pursuit and threw him at the nearest wall, in which he disappeared. The Alpha stared speechless for a moment but then shook her feathers, he was gone now and it was time to teach that bug how to act. She paused when she realized that Shiwa was gone and Baunsu had taken her place. "Coward! Come out from your hiding place!" She screamed and stared around wildly. ~~~ The meowth didn't react to Zaiden's call, too caught up in its playtime. It gave the pokeball a well aimed slapped and wiggled its butt as it watched it skid across the ground, then it pounced it and landed nimbly on top of it. The young gardener listened calmly to Zaiden's troubles and shrugged at his questions. "Nah, playing with pokemon ain't really my focus. I'll just keep them away from the gardens but if I chase it off it might take your pokemon with it," the gardener said with a vague gesture towards the meowth. He watched it for a bit, while his pidove cleared a bit more of the fog around them, it was too thick for the little bird to remove entirely though. "I have heard that some of those like the herb catnip, hence the name. I don't have any on me though, perhaps your friend does if he's a gardener? Or else you could try trade for something, food or something else it can play with," he added as suggestion but then shrugged. "I'm no expert though, not in pokemon at least."He stayed and watched for now though. ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion
Life was a complicated mess. A flock of reddish brown feathered Spearow had made an unfortunate turn of events for Zaiden’s Pokemon, while the young lad seemed to have his hands tied with a curious and rather playful Meowth. The sounds of the fight caught Hageshii’s attention. Short, course chirps illuminated off of his tongue as the feathery avian lifted itself up off of the ground and into the air. He had no interest in helping his trainer figure out this new catastrophe after all.
Brsshhrrsshh! He fluttered through the air as fast as his wings could carry him. For a moment, the golden colored variant would land on the top of a nearby roof and simply watch the fray unfurl below him. A confusing sort of curiosity dashed across his eyes as he noticed that Baunsu had finally made it back upon the earthen ground below, only to be locked inside of a battle amongst birds. He could just make out their forms. Hageshii raised and wing up and began to preen through his feathers in mild amusement. “They not prepare to take on Spearow.” He commented to himself, as he poked and prodded at his feathers with his beak. “Spearow brave. Noble. Spearow always win.” Where was his loyalty at anyways, jeez?!
"Thanks for the suggestion!" Catnip was a great idea! Zaiden’s eye brighten at the suggestion, although he noted silently to himself of how useless this other kid would be. You can’t win them all, I suppose… He thought silently to himself. Zaiden brushed the knees of his jean pants idly, before turning and strolling over to the gardener’s fence-line. He craned his head up towards the blue skies above – although they were currently shrouded by the fogginess around him – before releasing a soft sigh. “Hey, uh?” What did the guy say his name was? Wait – did he even introduce himself? Or was he only focused on those little seedlings?! “I’ve got a feline of a problem. Do you, uh, know where I could get some catnip?” How to ask? What could he do to earn some catnip, only to trade it to the wild feline for his Pokemon?
Baunsu eyed the Spearow nervously as he gulped. The bipedal furry rabbit rolled his eyes quickly at the white apparition that he was forced to partner up with. There was no way in Baunsu’s mind that Gen’ie was going to make it out of the fight in one whole piece. Such a tough and brave ghost – now reduced to half the Pokemon he’ll ever be! The furry brown mammalian Pokemon was actually kind of glad to see something teach this evil little pest a thing of two. In another world, he would have actually THANKED the Spearows.
Not now. “Hey, ‘Gasu?” He asked, timidly as he tried to save-face in front of their foes. “P-please tell me you’ve got a pl-plan?” The bright orange scaly flame-tailed lizard brimmed up, bold and brave. They were going after Gen’ie. Good! She was only knocked back momentarily as a fray of feathers landed and pecked her about, cutting into her shoulder and side. Ouch. Maybe they would keep their attention distracted just long enough for this to work. Kogasu whispered to Baunsu in a low voice, instructing them to focus on the same bird.
“Gen’ie, if you’re not going to listen. Then just make sure you stay out of the way.” Gen’ie huffed, feeling the strain after the Alpha chased after him in a hurried mess of feathers and pain, followed shortly by one of her minion’s sharp beaks. But this wouldn’t manage to take the ghostly apparition’s spirits down just yet! Kogasu rushed in and leaped at the Alpha to lash out with her sharp claws. Baunsu followed closely behind to try and scratch at the Alpha from the other side as well.
Gen’ie screeched as loud as he could at the top of his lungs. “HEY YOU BIRD BRAINED FOOLS!” He floated over to the lesser bird who had pecked him relentlessly after its Alpha had chased Gen’ie with Pursuit. “DO YOU ALWAYS DO WHAT MOMMY SAYS? CAN YOU NOT THINK FOR YOURSELF?" Gen’ie tried to keep up his normal playful and mischievous personality as it laughed and mocked the other Spearow. He spun about as he floated in erratic patterns around the other Spearow.
OOC: Kogasu uses Scratch on the Alpha/Middle Spearow. Baunsu uses Scratch on the Alpha/Middle Spearow. Gen'ie uses Screech on the Right Spearow.

The young gardener gave a nod to acknowledge Zaiden's thanks and stayed to watch. Perhaps he found it interesting or bemusing, or perhaps he hoped to be able to help, only he knew it. The older gardener was busy sorting a flowerbed and in a box beside him the remaining sunkerns were resting. They looked rather content for the time being so perhaps he had found a solution. The man's head snapped around the moment Zaiden spoke, and he looked like a deerling caught in a flash until he recognized Zaiden and then he breathed a sigh of relief. "Catnip? That was a strange request, what do you need that for?" The gardener asked puzzled as he stood and wiped his hands free from dirt. As soon as Zaiden had explained the gardener nodded. "I think I might still have some growing in the back, it's the least I can do after you helped me, even though we failed," he said with a regretful smile and then trotted away to a path leading to the other side of the house. Meanwhile the meowth slowly moved further down the road in its play, not looking like it had any care of where it was going as long as it had fun. ~~ The Alpha screeched with fury as Kogasu and Baunsu ganged up on her. "Cowards! Are you afraid of facing me alone?!" She cawed and didn't think twice that it was often her flocks tactic to do just that, but it was only fun when you were the one with the advantage. "Are you going to leave me to fend for myself?!" She snarled at her deputy whose eyes widened and then rushed at Baunsu and drove him away with plenty of pecks. The other spearow watched smugly, it liked to see the deputy failing at what it was doing. It felt fine itself and perhaps this was it's chance to show what it could do and climb the hierarchy? It wondered if it should chase of the fire lizard now the deputy had taken the smaller one, but a shout from the Alpha stopped it. "You are mine!" The Alpha declared to Kogasu, and the other spearow sighed. Of course the leaders would face each other, instead it looked after the missing ghost. Gen'ri was spotted as he made his way back out of the wall he had been thrown into earlier. It dived down on him and ripped him with its sharp claws before he got time to take any breath. The spearow flinched as Gen'ri screech and the sight of the ragged ghost along with how well it was faring in this battle made it relax. It snickered at Gen'ie's attempt to taunt it. "Like you, you mean? Yeah, looks like you are doing great, aren't you?" It teased and then stuck its beak into his face to whisper secretively, "if you can think for yourself, you know when to do as told and when not to. If not you are going to be kicked out of your flock, and it sounds like your 'friends' are just waiting for an excuse," it said ominously and cawed a mocking laugh as it walked away back towards its Alpha. ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion
Hageshii watched the battle unfurl below. His friends managed to corner and attack the Alpha Spearow together – with the furry brown rabbit teaming up alongside the scaly orange lizard. However, they seemed to largely ignore the ghostly apparition and left Gen’ie to handle his own devices, of which the poor fool seemed eternally lost and incapable of doing. Something inside of Hageshii’s chest stirred, and for a second the bird was unsure if it was simply hunger for food or something more. But he was a proud bird. Although Gen’ie deserved every bit of what the birds were handing to him, Hageshii needed to show the other Spearow exactly why you wouldn’t mess with his crew.
The golden colored variant landed in the midst of the scene and used one lone wing to point off of the field, flapping them menacingly in Gen’ie face. “Off you go. Shoo, shoo. You cannot fight any longer. Go wait over there.” He instructed. Then, the feathered avian would spin just a nimbly on his feet with the guided aid of his wings, to face off with the other Spearow. “You’ve taught our hard-headed companion a thing or two, but I cannot let it end in defeat for him.” Gen'ie reluctantly floated off to the sidelines. Though the words that tumbled off of his lips were indecipherable, it was clear that something had upset the ghostly apparition. "This isn't over, bird brain. You just think you're smart because you can't think for yourself." His last words to the Spearow that had managed to cut him up pretty badly in its pursuit.
Kogasu brimmed up as she spotted her feathery counterpart. “Hageshii, you’ve joined us!” She commented, excitedly. The golden feathered tiny bird bowed in acknowledgement and used its wings as instructional devices. “Focus. You are strong. Another burn for the Leader.” Then to the smaller rabbit, whose timid features usually did not instill hope in Hageshii. This one needed a lot of work too, in order to truly be battle ready. “Sharp mind and wit, you. Scratch the Deputy.” Words worked in formation, and without that form his team were just a bunch of haphazard Pokemon trying their best to keep up. Kogasu and Baunsu nodded, immediately leaping into action.
Meanwhile, Zaiden studied the new work that the gardener had done. At least the remaining Sunkern seem pretty happy with the arrangements. He thought with a smile, as he watched the seedlings nestled in the box together. His eyes kept glancing back behind him, and the young brown-haired lad bit the bottom of his lip nervously as he watched the cream-colored Meowth slowly making his way into the midst of the road. It just wants to play… Then something dawned on Zaiden and he reached into his bag to pull out a sheet of paper, which he balled up with his hands. "Meowth seem to love toys, ya know."
Zaiden placed the crinkly ball o the ground and began playing absentmindedly with his new toy. It crinkled underneath his hands, making a crinkly papery sound as he seemed to transfix himself on the new toy. “Gee, what a fun toy!” He could easily put some of the catnip on the new ball as soon as the Gardener gave him some and hopefully make a decent switch with the Meowth. Then to bait the furry feline, and barter a decent trade...
OOC: Gen'ie switches out. Hageshii switches in. Kogasu uses Ember on Alpha/Middle Spearow. Baunsu uses Scratch on Deputy/Left Spearow.

The moment the yellowed bird made his move into the front lines the alpha Spearow's feathers rippled into a fit of stress. She wouldn't be able to be more pointy looking if she tried. "I'll end the blob and that bug," she hissed, long screeching caws ripping through air for all the hear, "... however I want, you sickly feather cushion!" Her wings twitched in agitation, eyes glaring passed the line of Zaiden's pokémon onto those that now were hanging back. "Cowards!" she shouted. Her favorite word it seemed. Digging her talons into the cracks of cement she snapped her head toward the deputy once again, eyes flaring as she huffed in his direction. She didn't scream at him this time though, as he seemed to quickly understand that it was time for him to do something to help in battle. Instead she covered up her lack of breath by ripping her attention to her other side and taking a notably large breath to puff up her chest; exhaling in a disgruntled caw toward the other Spearow which didn't seem to be pulling his weight. "You! What have you been doing this whole time, get over there!" She raised a sharp feathered wing toward the shiny spearow opposing them. While the alpha was busily ordering around her lackeys Kogasu and Baunsu simultaneously approached. By the time the bossy bird wheeled her head around to pay attention on the trainer pokémon she was already able to feel the heat of the ember homing in on her. Her brain barely had time to register the little fireball. It collided with her beak and washed over her head. She screamed angrily. Wings flapping in a weary, desperate attempt to snuff the flames. It worked, but she was absolutely spent. Panting, one eye open, the alpha spearow could do naught but just remain standing and pass death glares at all still standing against her. She staggered back a few steps, but she didn't leave. Baunsu delivered a similarly devastating blow while the deputy was distracted with the aftermath of Kogasu's attack. His defenses down as he gawked at the defeat of their leader, the sentret was able to run his claws straight across the spearow's chest and neck. He reeled back in surprise, wings spread and taking a bit into the air. "You'll pay for that!" he screeched, hovering just a foot or so in the air. His gaze met Kogasu and Baunsu. A spine shivering leer that shook their cores. On the other side of the field, the relatively untouched tiny bird pokémon charged forward with a lot less flare. An angry caw signaled his attack. The bird jumped into the air to quickly cover the distance toward Hageshii. While the yellow bird was finishing up his orders to the other the opposing Spearow flew up and landed a solid peck right on his noggin. ~~~ Off the battlefield in what felt like a completely different world Zaiden made efforts to attract a curious feline. Its white coat was difficult to track the further it got in the fog, the pavement providing a nice equalizer with the mist swirling about, but the outline of the critter did make a stop. Ears twitching back, it took a few more crinkles of the rolled up page to make the meowth turn its head round. It sat down, half facing the boy as he spoke to himself. The cat's large eyes stared, unmoving, wide, and interested. It was hard to tell what it was thinking. A moment in its eyes flicked down to the crinkly toy then back up again at the trainer. Meowth got back on all fours and trotted closer, looking a bit skeptically at this sudden new toy but obviously interested. Each crinkle that sounded brought a twitch to the feline's movements. However, it didn't get too close. Once within several paces it stopped and tried to look interested in one of the bushes, nose rubbing up against a stray twig before batting ensued. The older gardener hadn't yet returned, but distant sounds from around the building were notable. ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion
The dense cloud that hugged the ground covered the land and obscured the battle. Hageshii’s eyes narrowed on his opponents, sifting between silhouettes and hints of reddish-brown feathers as the wild Spearows moved in and out of the scene. He was a natural born leader. Although Kogasu had the voice to try and get things done, she seemed to lack the foresight to guide and lead those that followed underneath her lead – or, in the case of Gen’ie, to hold them accountable if they lacked the ability to listen and obey. That’s why Hageshii stepped in. “You, Lizard, use your claws.” He waved his wing towards the Deputy in a dismissing fashion. “Rabbit, join me. Use your claws, and I will chase after.”
Kogasu’s face couldn’t help but to boast a satisfied smile as the leader fell to her flames. She watched the wild feathered leader’s slow descent and retreat off the field. “Your team is losing.” Kogasu’s fought but she couldn’t help the smug smirk on her face. “But I do thank you for the lessons you’ve instilled in our difficult companion.” The scaly orange lizard rushed forward with her claws paws outstretched. Although the fog made her vision harder to focus through, she tried to focus on the silhouette of the Deputy as she leapt at the reddish-brown tiny bird.
Baunsu shivered a bit but nodded his head affirmatively. The furry brown rabbit was feeling nervous and he honestly wanted turn around and rush off the battlefield. He wasn’t down and out, but the earlier assaults were slowly starting to wear on the Sentret’s body and he was starting to worry if he would make it out of the fight alive. “If you believe in our strength, I’ll trust your word.” Something about Baunsu’s words seemed to imply that he was hanging on the golden feathered Spearow’s guidance. Was it safe to trust Hageshii’s leadership? Could he understand the risks that each of them faced?
Hageshii nodded. “You can do this. We can do this.” Together, they moved in. Hageshii moved as fast as he could on his wings, flying in hot pursuit of his opponent in order to attack with his talons. Baunsu bounded after the relatively healthy wild Spearow with his clawed paws outstretched to slash and tear at the wild bird. Though Gen’ie had disappeared into the backgrounds and largely spent his time trying to soak his hurt feelings, the reddish-pink larva bounced up and down excitedly on the sidelines. “Way to go! You guys are doing a good job!”
~
Meanwhile, Zaiden seemed stuck between whether he admired the creamy furry feline or if he simply regarded it as an obstacle between his Pokeball and his even newer companion. Should I just try to catch the Meowth and add it to my team? He frowned as he rolled the crinkle, balled up piece of paper on the ground. Does it even understand? It seemed motivated by the toy…Is it a pet? He rolled the piece of paper towards the Meowth and released it from his grasp. Now the ball was in the feline’s corner, so to speak. What would Meowth do with this?
Please don’t fail me… Hopefully, the Meowth wouldn’t just snag the newfound toy and run off with both. Then he would have to chase this furball down! Already, he was starting to worry that he might end up regretting this choice – it would all depend on how the Meowth reacted. He could hear the gardener rummaging around somewhere inside his house or on the other side of his house, and he had to hope that he would return with the catnip in time.
Kogasu uses Scratch on Left Spearow. Baunsu uses Scratch on Right Spearow. Hageshii uses Pursuit on Right Spearow.

If Zaiden were able to witness the battle at hand he would see that Hageshii's leadership instincts were on full display as the shiny flying type pokemon seamlessly took the leads and directed Kogasu and Baunsu through the plan of attack they would take proceeding further into the battle. Kogasu rushed towards the Deputy as the scaly orange lizard reefed her outstretched claws across the face of her target, the Deputy screeched out in pain, it most certainly could not handle another dosage of that attack again otherwise it's fate would indefinitely be the same as that of the alpha's. Baunsu followed exactly as Kogasu had done previously, however on the opposite target as the scout pokemon dashed towards the avian pokemon that had clearly not been pulling his weight so far throughout the battle. The small brown furred normal type pokemon leapt towards the lazy Spearow and dragged his outstretched paws across the right hand side of the flying type pokemon's body. The attack by Baunsu lead to painful sounding screech from the avian pokemon as he begun to retreat from the scout pokemon to create some distance between he and the Sentret. Hageshii took this window of opportunity as he quickly charged towards the Spearow and drove his beak into the right side of the avian. The attacks from Baunsu and Hageshii appeared to wake the Spearow up as he realised the the reality of the situation at hand, the odds were clearly stacked against he and his compadre and if they were to have any chance of winning this battle, he would indefinitely need to start pulling his weight in the battle and do so very soon. It had taken the exit of the alpha Spearow from the battle, not by his choice albeit, for the deputy and the other previously untouched tiny bird pokemon to work as a cohesive unit, go figure. In near unison the pair of Spearow's focused their attention towards the small brown scout pokemon, it was clear that their sights were set on Baunsu and removing him from the battle to even the odds and make the fight two against two. The pair of tiny bird pokemon's flight may not have looked as smooth of majestic as it may have previously, it was however effective enough to get the job done as they pecked their beak into the noggin of the scout pokemon, the strength of their combined attack was too much for Baunsu to handle as the valiant young normal type pokemon succumbed to excessive amount of damage that had just been inflicted upon his small body. ~~~ The feline was visibly hesitant towards taking its guard off Zaiden's pokeball that it had taken captive of as his new favourite play-toy, although the crinkled up ball of paper sure was making it think of what to do next. Meowth's attention continued to shift between the pokeball and the crinkled ball of paper, this was easily the toughest decision of its life and the feline appeared to be in a deep state of thought. The sound of rummaging from inside ceased as the gardener emerged onto the scene with what appeared to be a small bag of catnip. Meowth was startled by the sudden appearance of the gardener, however its attention was very suddenly fixated on the gardener and away from the pokeball it had been playing with as a toy and the crinkled up ball of paper as its sharp eyes noticed through the thick fog the bag of food in the gardeners hand. ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion
Even the best of leaders could not predict the future, no matter how hard they tried. “Baunsu!” Kogasu voice called out. Though Baunsu leapt bravely into battle and raked his claws across the other Spearow, they would both gang up on him and proceed to peck the furry brown rabbit mercilessly with their beaks. Hageshii’s eyes narrowed down on his opponents. The golden colored variant stretched out his wings and embraced Baunsu before the normal type scout Pokemon could slink off the battlefield. “You fought bravely. Rest on the sidelines and we will handle the rest.” A nod, and Baunsu gladly retreated to sit beside Shiwa, before collapsing on the ground beside the other Pokemon. He was tired.
Shiwa’s small frame began to shake violently. Part of the small larval Pokemon was fearful of the future and what that might mean for their group. The bug type Pokemon watched the battle unfurl as her friends leaped into action, and subsequently as Baunsu crawled over to collapse at her side. “I wasn’t strong enough.” Baunsu shivered through labored breaths as he tried to gather his strength which had been zapped right out of him. “Nonsense,” Shiwa corrected in a matter-of-fact tone, “You were one of the bravest.” She dashed out if only to risk her life, halted only momentarily by Hageshii’s wings.
“You are natural food, little worm.” Hageshii’s words hissed out more as a warning than a threat. His eyes darted to the reddish-pink Wurmple and he stretched his other wing to highlight the two enemies that remained. “Be careful for they may eat you alive. You were better on the sidelines.” He admitted with a sit of a sad expression. Hageshii did not want to hurt Shiwa’s feelings, but such a brave battle rarely had room for ‘feelings’. Shiwa nodded with a shudder. Hageshii nodded towards the flame-tailed lizard.
“Use your type to your advantage. Burn the deputy and try to put out his fight. I shall return the fire that they’ve placed upon our compadre.” He nodded towards Baunsu on the sidelines. With a huge breath of hot air, Kogasu would shoot out the embers that she had built up inside of her mouth. “Over here ya big ugly bird!!” Kogasu called out in a loud voice as she moved in for the attack. Hageshii would fly over to the previously slow-to-attack bird to try and begin pecking the other Spearow as harshly as he could.
~
Meanwhile, Zaiden took his opening as soon as it presented itself. As the Meowth seemed to distract itself, Zaiden plucked the Pokeball off the ground and began polishing it off carefully, before placing it up. Since his party was already full, the Sunkern’s Pokeball would disappear and teleport back to Zaiden’s personal storage, perhaps to be drawn out at a later date in time. He walked over to the gardener to retrieve the catnip gratefully. “Thank you for your help.” Zaiden spoke up to show his appreciation before turning to the Sunkern to sprinkle some of the catnip on the ground. “Do you have a home, little fella?” He spoke softly, trying not to spook the Meowth too much.
Hageshii uses Peck on the Right Spearow. Kogasu uses Ember on the left Spearow. If it remains "3v3" battle for sake of roleplay, then Shiwa enters Baunsu's spot. If the battle ends (*and possible*) please apply my Mod Multiplier to Shiwa!

The Alpha cackled as Baunsu went down. "Well done! Now bring home the win and bring me the bug and the blob!" she half praised half ordered her underlings and looked expectantly at them. Of course they would do her bidding and do the impossible if she ordered them to do it, if not what use was it then to be a leader? She huffed condescendingly as Hageshii spoke softly to the worn out scout pokemon. "And that's why it's weak," the Alpha said as a matter of fact and her two underlings shot her a quick glance before they hurriedly agreed and mimicked her huffing. The Alpha's attention snapped straight back to Shiwa when she foolishly decided to come closer and she attempted to gather some energy to set in an attack at her, but her body failed her. "What are you waiting for?! Get me that coward!" Alpha screamed in her frustration instead and the two spearows rushed forward. The deputy had a feeling where this was heading and as his flight send him directly face to face with Kogasu's embers, he spun around the last moment and fled, smelling of burning feathers. The other that lived by the motto of battle smart not hard, wasn't pleased having to get to the frontline instead of staying back and bidding his time as he usually did. When the deputy fled it got excited that it might be now it could throw the other off its perk and take over, but then it clashed with the golden feathered spearow. It only took a few well aimed pecks before it decided it wasn't worth it and it too disappeared over the roof tops. The Alpha screamed in fury and ordered her underlings back and threatened them to get kicked out of the flock but nothing helped and they did not return. It was a great loss of status for her and this battle might affect the hierarchy in her flock, she certainly had some fighting to do to keep her place and gain the respect of her underlings. That they ran off against her order like that was inexcusable. First she had to not lose too much face against the winning flock and she looked disdainfull at them down her beak. "Beginners luck and pray to that we wont meet again, since next time I won't be flanked by such weak idiots," she warned them and with great effort managed to get airborne and escape. ~~~ The meowth didn't look saddened to have lost its toy and had just watched Zaiden warily when he had grabbed his pokeball again. It was much more interested in the catnip and stepped forward to sniff it when he sprinkled some on the ground, before it began to roll in it eagerly. He got no answers to his question, but how should the cat answer him anyway? Even if it knew how to nod and shake its head, it might not lower itself enough to do such thing for a human. The older gardener accepted the bag back, "you're welcome, you helped me before after all," he said and returned to his work. The younger man walked over and looked closer at the meowth, who was still rolling around. "It doesn't have a collar, but that doesn't prove anything," he stated unhelpful with his pidove still trying to flap the fog away. Whether it actually begun to work or the sun just had begun to burn away the fog was hard to say, but it was beginning to lift. Something like a whistle sounded and meowth snapped around to listen, and then bolted off in the direction of the sound. What was that about? The other trainer seemed to have decided nothing more interesting would happen here and with a polite nod walked off. Kogasu stayed to the end and earned 2 levels and became lvl 13! (2/3 + 2/3 + 2/3 =2)Hageshii showed some natural abilities and grows 3 levels to lvl 12! (2/3 + 3/3 + 2/3 =3He can learn Fury Attack if he forgets something else. Shiwa rejoined the last moment and showed some bravery, or recklessness, she gains 4 levels, making her lvl 6! (3/3 + 3/3 + 3/3 = 3+1 from multiplier=4)She learns Poison Sting.Gen'ie barely survived but hopefully learns a bit from it, he gains 1 level, becoming lvl 11! Baunsu only learned she wasn't strong enough, so she didn't get any boost.

ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion
Hageshii’s eyes narrowed and he ruffled his feathers up. With his feathers fluffed up he would extend his wings and beat them several times, causing the golden colored variant to hop about on the ground as he propelled himself in short bursts into the air. The Alpha of a defeated clan challenged him yet again, scorning the shiny Spearow and his companions should they ever meet again. “We not weak!” He huffed and puffed in a matter-of-fact voice as he scratched at the ground. “Face us again, we defeat you again.”
Then he seemed to cool as the flame-tailed lizard ran over to her companions that awaited them on the sidelines. She studied Baunsu for a moment and watched him sit up and try to regain his strength. It was slowly coming back, but it would require time and recuperation for the normal type scout to feel a hundred percent again. “Do you think you could actually help this time?” She hissed at the ghostly apparition that floated back and forth near the rotund rabbit. “If it’s more tricks, I’ll kick you out myself. Pokeball or no Pokeball.”
Hageshii zipped over to the others on his wings and began to prod them with his beak. “We need carry rabbit back to trainer.” Short and direct. Hageshii could tell that they would be faster if they toted their friend back. “I’ll float him over there.” Hageshii’s eyes narrowed on Gen’ie as the white spirit Pokemon spoke up. He bristled in warning. “No tricks, or I peck the remaining health from you.” Gen’ie glanced a bit nervously from the scaly orange lizard to the golden feathered bird. Reluctantly, he sighed.
“No more tricks for now….” He gave a quick huff. “You guys are no fun!” He picked up Baunsu and floated back to his trainer. Hageshii helped Shiwa onto his back and soared back over to Zaiden, whilst Kogasu ran on foot back.
With his Pokemon returned and looking beaten – but, for the most part, stronger – Zaiden glanced at them confusingly. “What did you get yourselves into?!” He shook his head and used their Pokeballs to summon all but Kogasu back inside the devices. The mousy brown-haired teenager would then reach down and pet Kogasu on the top of her head before turning to shove off – bidding the gardener a fond farewell with a wave of his hand. They set out through the city and exited onto Route 30 to see what other wild Pokemon or anxious trainers they would find on their way to Violet City.

The route was certainly not a great choice of weather for the young fire-type. Populations of large pond-like puddles filled the route could be seen as the foggy weather disappeared and the sun came out. The tales of a charmander dying if its flame went out would usually do enough to scare the Pokemon away, but today it seemed like that wouldn’t be the case as Zaiden and his charmander travelled along the route. Surprisingly enough, the first thing Zaiden and his Pokemon companion would encounter would be a trainer rather than a Pokemon playing in one of the puddles. A bug catcher had been scouring the route for any bugs that he could find - a large bag full of Poke-balls could prove it. Perhaps that was why Zaiden had yet to see a Pokemon? Or perhaps the catcher had been having about the same amount of luck? He happened to notice Zaiden and his charmander, then gave a smile and began to approach them. With a nice big hat to avoid the sun beating down on him, the bug catcher had been prepared for an all-day expedition. He carried a big butterfly net with him as well, while outfitted in shorts and a tank top. It was clear he had been out for a while with the visible sweat on the boy. “Hey there!” The bug catcher said to the trainer, holding the top of the butterfly net with the bottom resting on the ground. “How’s it going? The name’s Wade. I’ve been searching all over these parts of the route for bugs, and quite frankly, it seems the water scared ‘em all away!” Wade said with almost a sense of sadness that he hadn’t found any. “Say, that’s a pretty strong charmander you got there. What do we say we have a nice little battle? It’s been a somewhat boring day, and I would love to show you how strong my bug-type Pokemon are!” He reached into his bag and pulled out a Pokeball, releasing a golden cacoon of a Pokemon. “I’ll use my Kakuna first,” The trainer said. Bug Catcher Wade challenges Zaiden to a battle! He will send out Kakuna (lv. 7) to battle first! Who will Zaiden choose to fight?

ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion
The warm weather brought the wet climatic conditions. Kogasu grimaced and walked closely behind Zaiden as they followed the long winding path that led down to the Route. Zaiden paused along the way as the flame-tailed lizard would reach out and tug at his pants legs. He laughed a bit and knelt one knee onto the dirt earth of the route’s open path and stroked his starter calmly on the top of her head. The young beige lady with messy mousy-brown hair pulled his partner close to him, careful to avoid the flaming embers of her tail, to hug her in a welcoming embrace.
It’s alright… His soft touch promised his partner. It’s alright…I won’t let anything get you. I promise. The young boy’s dark chocolate brown eyes glanced around, though he couldn’t understand what was bothering Kogasu so much. The sight of another young lad donned in a white shirt and huge comfy blue shorts with a wide brimmed straw hat caught his attention. Most of the other wild Pokemon seemed to have disappeared. This kid seemed to be on the hunt, whilst others far off in the distance seemed to enjoy the watery day as they jumped between mud puddles in their adventures. Kogasu ducked behind Zaiden, her sharp small paws clinging desperately onto his pants legs as she shook and murmured soft, incoherent syllables behind him.
Wait…so that? Zaiden scratched the nape of his neck. Kogasu had never been afraid before and she certainly wasn’t one to shy away from a fight. Did something happen in the city streets when he had been too focused on the Meowth and his newfound Sunkern? Zaiden frowned as he glanced down at his starter. “You’re not afraid to fight, are you?” Kogasu’s bright eyes glanced up and for a second she considered the notion. No. She bawled her clawed paws into tiny fists. “Charmander Char char!” She seemed to confidently promise that the fight didn’t scare her. “Char…char manderrr….” Oh but the puddles everywhere kinda spooked her a bit.
No doubt if Zaiden asked her to Kogasu would leap bravely into battle though. The bug catcher walked up to Zaiden and introduced himself whilst also promising a fun battle for both of them. Zaiden’s dark brown eyes cast a soft glow down to his scaly orange friend as he silently considered tossing her into the fray, then decided against it. What would be a better way to help the baby Pokemon become stronger than to battle a future wasp stuck inside of its cocoon form? Zaiden nodded, extending a hand more in a customary greeting than anything else, and yanked Uroko’s Pokeball off his belt.
Zaiden tossed the Pokeball up into the air with a press of the button to summon his Pokemon. With a blast of like, the small white furred pinniped appeared between Wade and Zaiden, facing off with a sloppy happy grin. It used its front flippers to clap enthusiastically as it bobbed its head up and found, ready and prepared for the fight. “Headbutt.” Soft and confident, though Zaiden’s once-found voice had already retreated again. Sometimes, he was learning to communicate fairly well. Other times, he was as quiet as an unopened book.
Sending Uroko out and using Headbutt.

The bug catcher was glad that Zaiden had decided to accept his battle invitation, even if the trainer hadn’t seemed to say much to him. His hands still stood on his massive butterfly net as he leaned forward on it. When the deep brown-eyed trainer’s hand went for a Pokeball on his belt, Wade wondered what it could be. Turns out, as the Pokemon appeared on the “battlefield”, it would be a Pokemon he had definitely not seen in person before. It was a seel. It seemed to be very young. “Whoa,” Wade said, “You have some super cool Pokemon!” While Wade wondered what other kind of Pokemon this trainer could have, his armored cocoon Pokemon shifted its somewhat static gaze from Kogasu to the new competitor, Uroko. It would’ve been quite hard to figure out the emotion of the kakuna without much for facial features in its current form, but it seemed to be ready for battle. With Zaiden having already called his one-word command to his Pokemon, Wade needed to act somewhat quick in his defensive strategy. “Quick! Harden up your shell Kakuna!!” Without hesitation, the cocoon Pokemon became shrouded momentarily in a bright, golden light to match its outer shell. When the light disappeared, its shell was harder than what it was previously. “If we go with a defensive approach, it’ll give us a chance to attack later with an increased defense to protect us, Kakuna!” Wade exclaimed with a smile, quite pleased with his own battle plan. .Even so, however, the seel would still be able to manage a tad bit of damage to his Pokemon. With an interesting bounce charge, Uroko would slam his head into the kakuna, dealing a direct hit. The kakuna didn’t seem to budge from its position. “Good, Kakuna! Keep holding your position!” Route 30 Trainer Battle VS Bug Catcher Wade! ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion
The furry white pinniped was delighted at the prospect of playing and the wet climatic conditions of the region. The change from the winter months to the warming summer months left its mark on the region, allowing the water type seal to run headlong splashing through the muddied water puddles that littered the grassy route. Where the Seel’s odd gait waddled-galloped through the puddles, it would seemingly cruise across the water as though it were merely skating through the puddles. Kogasu clung to dark jean pants of her trainer’s leg, murmuring incoherent syllables at just above a whisper on the tip of her tongue. Her large, usually bright eyes, darted all over the route nervously, spotting each and every puddle that could have easily spelled trouble.
Why were they wasting their time here? A soft growl clumped in the thick of Kogasu’s throat – an empty warning. The fighting spirit inside of her wanted to hop into the middle of the fray and light this waddling, generally still-standing bug ablaze to easily incinerate her enemy. But she was frozen. The flame-tailed lizards eyes caught sight of the baby white Seel’s galloping gait as it splashed through the puddles, and it caused Kogasu’s fear to freeze her to the spot. She tugged, a quiet plea for the silent lad to return her and save her the risk of getting wet.
Zaiden petted the top of Kogasu’s scaly head. His eyes peeled away from the wide-head of the yellow cocoon and his fin-footed pinniped to glance down at his starter with a soft smile. Her scaly skin felt rougher than the other team-mates, as was expected for a lizard. But it wasn’t really all that rough – just different. It just wasn’t soft like fur. “Strong defenses…” It was an odd compliment that the beige teenager had tossed at bug catcher wade and his Kakuna. It held its ground perfectly against Uroko as the baby Seel came crashing in a headlong waddle into the yellow bug Pokemon, proving that they would have to play the game by ear with each round. There was a thought, however. Zaiden could easily prepare for the next attack, should the stand-still cocoon find movement as a more favored turn of events and attack with a damaging move. A glance to Uroko, and he decided against that. Nothing had warranted this just yet.
“Again.” It was a simple command that almost seemed to come a moment too late. The furry white seal rushed forward, waddle-galloping towards its opponent. Uroko would lower its head down, pointing the tip of its horn directly at Kakuna in an attempt to ram the tip of the horn into Kakuna’s toughened bug hide. If this yellow bug wanted to beef up its defenses, then Uroko would ‘play along’ and try to break through that toughened shell. Kogasu’s complaints became louder as Uroko moved in, almost like a momma bird who couldn’t believe its babies were ready to fly out of the nest. She had to trust that her trainer – the same trainer that barely gave them commands in the first place – knew what he was doing.
They’d better not be doomed!
Uroko uses Headbutt.

The bug catcher was rather surprised with how quiet and reserved his opposing trainer was, it was a breath of fresh air for sure, most trainers venturing through these parts had an ego about them and were certainly not as shy as young Zaiden was. Wade was content with playing this battle slowly, after all his past experiences in battle had been fairly short lived with trainers regularly taking the fastest, most efficient route to send he and his bug type pokemon back into hiding. Wade couldn't help but send off a friendly jibe towards his opponent to see if he could bring him out of his shell. "No need to be shy about it fella, put some energy into it"
"Keep raising them defenses Kakuna, harden up my friend!" Wade said with an air of confidence in his voice, his plan was simple and easy to execute and the young bug catcher was sure that the plan was foolproof. Kakuna's response to his trainers command was immediate as the cocoon Pokemon became shrouded momentarily in a bright, golden light to match its outer shell. After the light disappeared, the bug type pokemon's shell was harder than what it was previously, his defenses were being shored up.
Uroko the Seel seemingly begun to initiate his next move before his trainer even commanded him to do so, his stubborn nature matched with the fact he was still young and inexperienced led to an interesting dynamic that Zaiden would have to deal with over time. The furry white seel pokemon's odd galloping like gait was unique and was definitely being aided by the weather elements that consumed the route. Uroko charged the horn at the top of his head into his bug type opponent's shell, again the attack was a direct hit but Wade's Kakuna moved even less than it had the previous time that move had been executed, much to Wade's delight as he let Zaiden know about it "Ain't no penetrating these defenses!
