 Tondra, Lightning Rod, Quick Attack, Thunder Wave, Flame Charge, Shock Wave Aglaia took a deep breath and let it out slowly, she looked around and smiled as she realized how relaxed she was today. Of course this was far from the first time she participated in this and it felt good that she knew what to expect and it had been a rutine to sign up and get ready to start the day. The bell had just sounded and as usual she wathed the other contestants race off in the expectation that they needed to be fast to find the bugs that gave the highest point, but Aglaia had found moving on slower worked as well, at least for her. She smiled wryly to herself, her brought pokemon would probably prefer they raced off though. Tondra stomped the ground and trotted energetic around Aglaia, eager to get going and for something to happen. "Let's go this way, I think I remember seeing a lake in that direction," Aglaia said and pointed down to one of the sides, and the blitzle raced off in that direction. Aglaia chuckled and followed more in a more leisure pace, if Tondra didn't ran into something she would come racing back to see where Aglaia was. |

Tondra galloped through the tall grass and pricked her ears as she noticed something blue in the grass. She slowed down and stretched her neck to inhale the unknown and learn what it was, as she realized it was a pokemon she snorted, jumped back and then began to trot around it in a circle.
She didn't want to leave it, it was too interesting but she didn't want to get too close either and she had too much energy to stand still.
"What have you found?" Aglaia called out to her blitzle as she reached her and saw her strange behavior.
"Oh! I think that is a pretty good find," Aglaia said pleasantly surprised, "Try a Thunder Wave and let's see if I can catch it," she said.

Karrablast tried to follow initially but ended up making itself rather dizzy, so when the paralytic wave hit the poor bug was rendered completely useless until it could ground its mind and attend to the paralysis that had set in.

"Perfect, well done Tondra," Aglaia said pleased and the blitzle made some funny skips out of happiness only to stop when Aglaia readied a sport ball. Tondra stomped the ground impatiently as the fun first started when they learned if the pokemon got caught or not, either the encounter with it would continue or they would be off exploring some more. Tondra hated waiting, it was so boring.
Aglaia took aim, throwing pokeballs was still not her strongest suit but she had gotten better at it, and then she let it fly through the air. Hopefully it wouldn't miss and if she was lucky it might even stay inside.

Tondra [Lightning Rod]: Normal The sport ball flew true to its target and sucked the little bug inside, but after but a second the device crunched open with a battle cry from the mighty karrablast. It lunged forward and made a furious cut across Tondra's chest.

Tondra snorted and stumbled backwards from the fury of the attack, her eyes shined and she loved the action. She stomped her foot again to get some of that energy out so she could stay still and wait for Aglaia's order.
"Are you alright Tondra?" Aglaia asked and got an impatient snort back, which made her smile wryly as she was sure Tondra would be fine.
She was a bit proud her first attempt of throwing the ball had hit her target, but she wasn't going to relax and she made sure to make a good aim for the second go as well.

S U C C E S S The Park Ball fell to the ground with a sudden zap! It wiggled back and forth on the grassy floor as the bug Pokemon battled inside of the Pokeball for its freedom. Would the Karrablast break free so easily? Another toss of the ball, which was so strong it almost seemed as if it would cause the Park Ball to begin rolling and tumbling about on the grassy ground. After only a few short long, intense seconds, the Park Ball would give a resounding ding, signaling the successful capture of the Karrablast.  You caught Karrablast!

"Great! We did it!" Aglaia said excitedly and hurried over to pick up the sports ball, "you did great Tondra. Good job on keep calm," she added and the blitzle snorted and stomped her foot impatiently once more, but she stayed still not wanting to destroy the praise she had just gotten but she really wanted to get going!
"Let's see what we can find at the lake," Aglaia said and pointed and Tondra was off in a flash.
(ooc: Tondra gains +1 level as well and becomes level 20. Doesn't learn any new moves. Self updated)

They stood tall and proud as they faced off with one another. As Tondra and Aglaia approached the lake, the Kricketune that faced them would run away, spooked. However, the other Kricketune was currently facing away from them. Too focused on it's enemy, it didn't hear the electric zebra or its trainer approaching. Instead, it shouted after its opponent defiantly, "Kricke Kricke Kricketune!" It was as if it were telling the other off, demanding it stay far away from its territory.

The lake was beautiful but Aglaia didn't have time to enjoy it at the moment as it was busy and full of kricketunes. Tondra didn't pay them any attention as she raced around in circles enjoying the soft grass which made an excellent racing course. Most of the kricketunes disappeared when Aglaia arrived but one stayed but it wasn't aggressive towards them, it hadn't even noticed them, so she decided there was no reason to disturb it.
She directed Tondra the other way and followed her around the lake, away from the bug, this was great for letting the blitzle run off some of all her energy.

With the tall grass it would appear to come up suddenly. On closer inspection though it was rather odd colored for a rock.

Tondra raced over the ground and enjoyed the soft racing track which the grassy field gave her, but suddenly something caught her hoof and she crash landed in the grass with her legs flailing in all directions. She was quick to jump back to her feet and she snorted annoyed, then engulfed herself with fires, she would remove that stupid rock no matter the color, so she wouldn't trip over it another time.
Aglaia frowned, what was Tondra doing? She looked like she was using Flame Charge on the grass. Was she planning on burning the whole garden up?! Aglaia rushed forward to figure out what was going on and to stop her pokemon from doing too much damage.

SPD 13: Cascoon used harden! Tondra was much faster than the Cascoon and would run headlong crashing into the small cocoon Pokemon cloaked in flames. The relatively still, slow Pokemon gave a tiny scream out in pain as it rolled and tumbled backwards through the grass. Although it landed upside down, the cascoon would roll back over and right itself easily. Its body would hardened almost as tough and as durable as a piece of steel as it beefed up its defenses.

"Tondra!" Aglaia called as she rushed forward in an attempt to catch up with her speedy horse. The blitzle was both deaf and blind to what was going on around her and she only wanted to break that rock over, or at least get it out of her running field.
Aglaia narrowed her eyes as she spotted the strange looking rock which rolled away from the initial attack, then she realized what it was.
"Tondra stop!" She shouted but it was too late, and Tondra was already charging surrounded by flames.
(ooc: Tondra uses another Flame Charge)
