The small pink feline scratched and clawed in vain as it tried to break free from the purple snake’s grasp. The gentle breeze that billowed across the land belied the severity of the situation. Discarded, crushed up aluminum cans clattered across the concrete ground as they rolled about in the wind. One of the cans clanged as it rolled against the foot of a large dumpster. The mousy brown haired teenager carefully stepped over a torn stuffed toy, whose fluffy cotton innards were scattered all over the ground. Large clumps of cotton stuck to the ground in soggy heaps, wet from some strange liquid and so sticky to the touch that they clung to anything that touched them.
The large purple snake tightened its coils around the small furry feline. The cat cried out loudly. It growled and hissed, striking out at odd angles with its sharp claws. Though the feline’s short, stubby cream-colored paws kicked about wildly in search of the large snake’s scales, it would find no refuge. Hebi smirked and lifted his head up high, curling it back around and pressing it dangerously close to the feline’s face. “Tassttyyy fooood…” He spoke in a charming, sing-song voice. He blinked, closing his eyes and slowly opening them back up as the thin translucent covering pulled across the yellow orbs to reveal the black slits that stared at the kitten. “Hun…gry…yum…my…sna…ke…” The small kitten struggled before breaking into a coughing fit that only helped the snake to tighten its coils.
The larger feline leaped from its high ground and barreled towards the snake. Without so much as a blink in the other Pokemon’s direction, Hebi raised his tail and struck the small pink cat, knocking it into a large pile of stacked milkcrates and carboard boxes. The stack bobbed and swayed from the weight of the feline in an erratic fashion. Most of the carboard boxes tumbled down from their stacked heap, scattering about in a haphazard pile across the back alley. The kitten kicked and clawed its way out from underneath the heap and jumped out with a loud hiss. Though it tried to sing the beastly snake to sleep to help its friend, it seemed as though its voice would land of deaf ears. “Hang in there, Skitty!” The larger feline called out. It’s tail shot up high as its fur fluffed up and the pink feline rushed over to the snake’s large, coiled up side. “I’ll save you! It’s not over, yet!” The Skitty promised.
The Ekan’s long fangs glimmered once more in the sunlight. Hebi’s opened his mouth wide as thick drops of venom ran down the base of his fangs and dripped past the poisonous snake to pool onto the concrete ground below him. He smirked, sizing the small kitten up to find the perfect spot to bite down on his prey. “Hoold ssstillll!” The snake hissed in a deep, guttural growl. Then, like a spring hinge being released, the purple snake would strike out in an instance, trying to sink its poisonous fangs into the other Pokemon with a powerful chomp. Its stomach rumbled, and hope blossomed inside of Hebi as he daydreamed of swallowing his prey whole.

The large purple snake stared at his prey with a strange primal glare. A large smile crept over his face. Slowly, the Ekans slipped around from one side of Skitty’s face to the other as Hebi sized up his next meal. The Skitty squealed out in pain as it kicked and clawed against the large snake’s body in vain. Hebi uncoiled himself, slowly but surely, while keeping a firm grasp on his prey and lifting the tiny kitten up high into the air with him. “Sssoooo hunnngryyyy….” The saliva pooled inside of Hebi’s lips and foamed around the corners of his mouth. It dripped from his lips, splashing onto the ground below. Small, paper cups that were crimpled up and discarded on the ground below smoked as the acidic saliva singed through their thin skins. “Mussssttt eeaatttt!” Hebi spoke more to himself than anyone else.
The small Skitty screamed at the top of its lungs. It hissed and cursed the snake out as it struggled to fight for its freedom. With every breath, the coils that clung to the pink feline tightened, making its next breath harder and shallower for it. Fire burned inside of its lungs, and it felt as though it would pass out. A strange phenomenon caused its vision to strain so that small, light-like sparks shot across the retinas, like fireworks blasting off that only the Skitty could see. “You…can’t…eat…me!” The kitten declared, wiggling its body wildly around within Hebi’s grip while it struggled to squirm out of the tight coils. “This…can’t…be…how it…ends!” It swore more to itself than to Hebi. It’s tail whipped about, slapping against Hebi’s rough scaly hide just as much as it wagged uselessly in the air around them.
The larger Skitty froze in terror and pain as it watched Hebi slowly suffocate its friend. Alarm resounded inside of its skull like a police siren blaring in the distance. Something glued the small pink feline to the spot, though it fought against the rising tide and struggled to be the savior its friend so desperately needed. The paralyzing effects of Nobara’s Stun Spore kicked into overdrive, causing the feline to stay immobilized on the spot. “SKITTY!” Powerless in the moment to do anything, the larger Skitty simply called out to its friend. “Stay strong, Skitty! Agh!” It tried to offer words of encouragement, all while fighting its own demons that held it as bay. All it wanted was a meal! Hunger rumbled inside of the pink feline’s belly, as if it were reminding itself of the starvation it was currently suffering through as well.
Zaiden gulped as he watched the life or death scene play out before him. He glanced around the trashy alleyway carefully. Should he interfere with Hebi’s fight? Though he was glad to see the raging tides of the fight play out in his Pokemon’s favor, the beige teenager wasn’t so sure he could stomach watching life and death play out before his very eyes. Sure, survival of the fittest and the need for Pokemon to feed themselves was probably the natural course of things. Zaiden’s stomach churned and he glanced away for a second while placing a hand over his mouth in case he might give back the inner contents of his stomach. He just couldn’t bare to watch the small cats literally fighting for their lives in front of him. His snake was scary…but he needed to find a way to gain control. And fast!

Sharp yellow orbs with long black slits like crescent voids stared with animosity at the small pink feline. It kicked and scratched with its sharp paws, pounding them against the Ekan’s tough skin. The snake hissed, waving its head back and forth in a rhythmic and almost hypnotic pattern. The kitten could feel the last of its breath escaping its lungs and struggled, managing to cut a few of the Ekan’s tough scales off of its hide. They cascaded away from the purple snake and fell onto the littered grounds of the concrete floor below. “Sssstayyy ssstillll foooood.” Hebi hissed, pressing his face closer to the pink feline’s face as he stared deeply into its dark eyes.
The skitty reared back as it pulled a thick breath of air into its lungs. The tight coils clung to the cat and surrounded it on all sides and pressed the feline’s ribcage ever closer as though they may snap into several smaller pieces. It cat cried at the top of its lungs, “I’m not food!” It slammed its thick skull with its large, triangular tufted ears, against Hebi’s head, sending the snake to falter backwards temporarily with a loud cry. Hebi shook himself before raising his head up steadily higher and curling back around to study his adversary carefully. “Sssoooonnn….” He hissed with a gleeful delight. “Eaaattt ssssoooonnn.”
Zaiden bit his lower lip as he watched the battle playing out before him. The smaller Skitty was barely hanging on, it seemed, and still managed to cause his snake a massive amount of damage. He pulled his large bag up to his chest and pulled on the zipper in a hurry to open his bag up. Zaiden jammed both of his beige hands inside of the bag and began rummaging through the contents in a hurry. He tossed several types of Pokeballs of various colors to the wayside as fear compounded in his chest. It has to be here somewhere! The frightful boy thought to himself, and sighed when his fingers finally caressed over the sides of the small purple spray bottle. He immediately slipped one hand between a small opening from where he was hiding and squeezed the handle to coat his snake in the healing liquids of the refreshing Potion bottle.
Hebi snapped and hissed loudly as soon as the sprays touched his skin. His old wounds slowly closed up and healed over, granting him newfound vigor and strength. The teenager boy quickly pulled his hand back inside of his hiding spot and pressed his form away from the small opening. Hebi flicked his tongue out and tasted the air as he narrowed his eyes with a loud hiss. “Hang in there!” The larger Skitty’s voice pulled the venomous snake back down into reality, causing the large reptile to spin around and hiss at the paralyzed feline on the ground a few feet away from them. “I’m coming for you! I…I…promise!” The Ekans laughed with a gleeful smile as he wrapped himself tighter around his prey, before aiming to bite down on the other Skitty, hoping to bite down on it with a quick chomp.
OOC: Using one Potion and then Hebi uses Poison Sting on Level 6 Skitty. Self-Updating -1 Potion from inventory. Should have 10 Potions remaining after self-update.

The pink feline immediately went limp inside of the large snake’s coils. Hebi smirked as he slowly enveloped the feline and stretched out his jaws around his opponent. Within seconds, the meal would make itself at home inside of the snake’s belly as Hebi satiated his hunger. The purple reptile then hissed and lifted his head up high as he searched the area for a new target and smiled as he sized the paralyzed cat up within his eyesight. He landed back on the ground and slithered forward as his lips began to salivate in anticipation. Soon…soon…Hebi would be feasting on more than one meal today if he were truly lucky.
Zaiden snapped back as he witnessed the scene play out before his eyes. He immediately turned away and wretched as the contents of his stomach turned inside-out and spilled out across the littered alleyway floor. He grimaced and pinched his nostrils firmly shut while shuffling inside of his bag. When the large pink cat came bounding out to help its friend, Zaiden would snatch up a Pokeball in one hand and summon Hebi back with the click of a button. He wasn’t so sure he was ready to watch the circle of life itself play out before his very eyes for a second time, and he wasn’t so sure Hebi could survive another beating from the felines. Instead, he pulled out another Pokeball as he stepped out from behind the dumpster and released Yamori with the click of a button.
The bright green gecko came flying out of his Pokeball with ease. He straightened himself up as he turned his head around to study the situation at length. What Yamori noticed first were two cats that were facing him in an alleyway. “New prey?” The paralyzed cat questioned as it tilted its head to the side and tried to size the scaly lizard up. The Skitty struggled through the paralysis that seeped inside of its veins and pulsated through its blood. “Yummy…prey…?” It turned to its newfound partner, who smirked and nodded its head as if confirming that they were going to try to eat this newfound Pokemon that had appeared before it.
Yamori pumped his arms as he prepared himself and switched into a battle stance. “I cannot allow you to eat me, nor anyone else on my team!” The green gecko warned the cats with a smirk. He studied them carefully before deciding on his move. As they swished their tails and crouched down low, Yamori noticed that the cats were acting like they were stalking him within the dirty alleyway that had been haphazardly stacked with forgotten milk crates and old, soiled cardboard boxes. “Hmm…” He hummed to himself, trying to determine the best course of action. Would he bring himself into a trap and have the felines pin him between them if he rushed at them to try and hit them with a close ranged attack?
Zaiden snapped his fingers and whistled. When Yamori spun around to stare up at his trainer, the teenager signed to his Pokemon to get him to use Mega Drain. Yamori stood still as he tried to determine whether Zaiden’s plan was better than his own. However, Zaiden’s eyes only furrowed as his lips scowled. He placed on hand on his hip and leaned towards Yamori with an expectant stare. “…” When Zaiden went to speak to correct his Pokemon, Yamori straightened himself up and began to focus as he created a bright green beam of light that he would aim at the new Skitty. Zaiden relaxed and smiled when he saw that his Pokemon had followed orders as instructed. But…he knew that he still needed to work with his snake…a lot.

Zaiden studied the battle carefully as he tried to calculate what his next move should be. The felines were working pretty well to gang up on Yamori, but the green gecko was going pretty well standing his own ground. As the beige teenager studied the two pink cats, he noticed that the new arrival wasn’t fairing so well against his Pokemon. The bruises that lined Yamori’s sides and arms were nothing compared to how the larger feline labored for air. Though, he felt a strange instinct to recall his snake out onto the battlefield instead. Was it because he was more attached to Yamori than his new arrival, and if the battle truly turned ugly he couldn’t bare the thought of losing Yamori over Hebi? Did that intrinsically make him a terrible trainer? How could he choose one of his Pokemon over the other, anyways?
Zaiden shook his head. “Yamori!” He called out, cupping his hands around his mouth to get his Pokemon’s attention. The mousy-brown haired trainer carefully stepped over a thick puddle of strange sticky liquid and walked closer to his partner Treecko. He needed to plan out the move carefully and weigh out the battlefield with a clear plan in place. Zaiden also felt that he needed to make sure he wasn’t just choosing which of his Pokemon to send to the ‘slaughter’, either. “Absorb.” He instructed, as he came back around to finding his voice. Was this something that would plague him, too? The sudden increase and decrease in his ability to speak as he battled his demons that held his tongue at bay? Surely, he was stronger than any imaginary foe or conjured nightmare that should try to haunt him in the bright daylight!
Yamori smirked as he nodded his head and spun back around towards the pink felines. “Lizard taste yummy!” the paralyzed cat meowed as if convincing itself that Yamori was a better entrée than Hebi now that the two had switched places. Yamori shook his head as he pumped his fist into the air. His nostrils flared and he scrunched up his nose in disgust. How could any Pokemon talk about eating another Pokemon as if it were the natural order of things?! Wasn’t Pokechow the obviously better choice, since it was carefully crafted by trainers to be formulated to a Pokemon’s specific needs? Maybe, that’s why they were so desperate to sink their fangs into him, then! They had no Pokechow, being wild cats of the streets! “I will show you to pay some respects to your opponents.” Yamori promised, “and why it is wrong to want to eat another Pokemon!” He swore as he crossed his arms over his chest. The Treecko then fired two red beams of energy to try to hit the larger feline and drain it of its health.

Yamori scored a direct hit with Absorb however the Skitty was just barely able to endure the attack. The Skitty double teamed the young Treecko afterwards with a Sing attack luring him to sleep followed by a Growl attack to lower his physical strength. While Yamori slumbered both Skitty started to plan their next move. Wild Encounter

The day wore on as the cats struggled in their fight against the reptiles. The bright burning ball of energy that clung in the open skies above crawled steadily closer towards the horizon, signaling the ever-slow close of the day. Still, as small puffy white cirrocumulus clouds ambled through the bright blue skies in a slow, dreary lull, there was so much of the day left to go. The two pink cats caught in the back alleyway turned to each other with their closed eyes and smirked. They meowed, conversing with each other while they planned their attack on Yamori and how they would eventually divide the carcass up for their delicate taste.
“I want the arms and the head.” The larger cat’s thick tail slammed back and forth in agitation from one side to the other. The smaller feline’s large, triangular-shaped ears switched with interest. “But…” But with the paralysis pulsating through its veins and slowing it down, it would find its argument falling on deaf ears and its energy to continue with the fight waning. “I came to help you!” The larger pink feline hissed, pinning its ears to the sides of its head as it narrowed its gaze on its friend. “I get first choice!” It reached out with unsheathed claws and swiped at the smaller Skitty.
Yamori slumbered on as the two cats bickered in loud agitation over who would get what body part. They seemed near the brink of a battle amongst themselves over the choicest pieces of Yamori. The bright green gecko’s plush green tail curled around his body. His arms were folded carefully against his bright red chest as he snored peacefully. Occasionally, the green gecko would kick wildly with his feet and scratch at the air aimlessly as he seemed to fight some unforeseen foe in his dreams. Yamori tossed and turned on the ground, grumbling loudly and softly in sporadic bursts. Most of the words were lost in translation and remained completely incoherent, though it didn’t stop the slumbering Grass Type from raging on.
Zaiden’s eyes widened. His heart raced inside of his chest. What did these cats do to his Treecko?! The beige teenager fumbled around with his hands nervously until they managed to land on Yamori’s Pokeball. Trembling, he gripped the small red-and-white ball in his hand and pulled it out to hold it tightly with both hands. What should he do? Would it be better to bring the dangerous snake back out to battle the cats, or should he consider bringing Nobara back out into the midst of the fray? Zaiden released Yamori’s Pokeball with one hand so that he was only holding it with his left hand. He used his right hand to reach up and wipe away a bead of sweat from his forehead and bit his bottom lip. I…can’t. I can’t risk Yamori against these feral cats. Zaiden thought silently to himself as he deliberated on his next course of action.
The teenager recalled his Pokemon with the press of a button. Yamori would disappear in the flash of a bright red beam of light. May Yamori manage to find plenty of peace as he slumbered on inside the safety of the Pokeball, but there was no way that Zaiden would stand by and witness these feral felines ripping his Pokemon limb from limb. Within the next moment, Zaiden would pull another Pokeball free and send Hebi out to battle with the click of a button. “Ffooooddd!” The snake hissed, poised, then immediately struck out to try and wrap the larger Skitty up inside of his coils. He aimed to try to squeeze his prey tightly before it could have the chance to escape.
OOC: Switching Hebi back out and using Wrap.

The purple snake curled up in tight coils as he propped his head up high to stare down at the two cats. The weaker one looked like an easy prey given the paralysis that crippled it, but the larger feline would prove to be a difficult foe for the snake to face off against. The two pink felines worked tirelessly together, communicating through loud yowls and hushed meows as they prepared their attack. When the biggest Skitty rammed the snake from the side, using all of its strength to tackle the coiled up reptile, he turned his slit gaze sharply upon his enemy with a loud hiss.
Though, before Hebi had a chance to snatch the large cat up within his coils, the large cat began to meow in a soft, singsong tone. It was enchanting and peaceful. Hebi began to sway back and forth as he listened to the Skitty’s melodies. He tried to fight the drowsiness that settled inside of his body, though he found it impossible to stop his eyelids from drooping. Eventually, the large snake would fall down on the littered concrete floor below with his eyes firmly shut. He stretched out in an odd, uncoiled fashion, with parts of his body draped through icky muck and across old, discarded milk bottles that had once been crushed up into a crumbled heap. While the felines encircled him, the snake slept on and only dreamed of feasting on his enemies until he became fat and happy from excess.
Zaiden shook his head and sighed loudly. This was not going the way that he had planned at all. He turned to his bag and hastily yanked on the zipper to open it up and dig inside. His beige fingers quickly worked over the water bottles and bags of chips he had stashed to the side to help power him through the worst days on his trek, until he managed to sift down into a side pocket where his medicinal items were carefully placed. Zaiden pulled out a small blue bottle with a light grey cap. He immediately pulled this bottle out of his bag, zipped the bag up and tossed in on his back, and then ran out to his snake to spray Hebi down generously with the Awakening medicine. As the medicine began to work its magic, the snake’s eyes fluttered and Hebi slowly pushed himself back up before searching around in confusion.
He hissed at Zaiden and coiled up immediately, preparing to strike his trainer until he noticed the empty bottle that the lad still clutched into his hands. “Heaalleed meee.” The Ekanss hissed, slowly realizing what Zaiden had done. The wild reptile shook his head, then turned away just as Zaiden slowly backed away from Hebi’s side, a little apprehensive to his own snake’s reactions. He relaxed, though, when he noticed Hebi focusing once more on the furry pink cats. With a loud hiss, Hebi would strike out and shook off from the ground to try and snatch one of them up within his tight coils and aim to wrap hopefully around them. Zaiden returned back to his usual hiding spot a safe distance away to watch the battle play out before him.
OOC: Using Awakening then Hebi is using Wrap on Level 9 Skitty. Self-Updating item usage, should have x1 Awakening left.

The two Skitty giggled as Zaiden used the Awakening as they were far from finished with their musical number. As soon as Hebi woke up the smaller Skitty started to sing. The lullaby lured the venomous snake back to sleep as the bigger one started to join in. As they were not sure if worked the smaller one delivered a Tackle attack to see for sure as the bigger Skitty sung for a second round all while Hebi continued to snooze. Wild Encounter
